Updated review: I'm changing my rating from 4 stars to 5! We went back in, cause I had gone in for a lunch slice a few days ago and thought, "hmmmm, the crust is different". So I suggest to my husband we go in again and see what was up. We ordered half Hawaiian, half Meat and we both agree, the crust seemed different and better. More hand tossed or hand stretched as opposed to rolled out? Who know? We both just thought it was a good improvement on our first pizza....even though first one wasn't bad at all! Just thought it warranted a star level change! Same wonderful, friendly service, too. Great staff! It's nice when young people can look you in the eye, smile, and engage in conversation. It makes this grumpy old lady hopeful for the future with young people like that! So yay! A big 5 stars and two thumbs up for Home Slice! We shall return!! read more

10/10 Mike's hot honey is delicious. The staff are super friendly. The Tillamook ice cream is delicious. This was a random stop on a driving adventure through what I consider BFE. We were hungry and did not want McDonalds or Subway. Thrilled we stopped here. The pizza was delicious. It comes out piping hot though. Best to let it cool off a minute. The ice cream and milkshake was delicious. The people working were so friendly. We talked for half an hour. It was a lovely, unexpected experience. read more

Bbq chicken Pizza is pretty average and that's not a bad thing. skimpy on the toppings, but inflation is a thing. I like that it wasn't greasy like so many other places. Prices are average. Service was great. Cheesy bread wasn't very cheesy and was lacking for the price. The pizza needed slightly more sauce, I want to taste sauce in every bite and I just didn't. The pizza was just lacking some flare. It wasn't bad. Just didn't blow me away. I've seen other pictures from other reviews and they look a bit better. This is a strong two star rating, the bread price just isn't sitting well with me. read more

I ordered the Logger at the counter and the pie was delivered to my table in about 15 minutes. Not to start an argument with any New Yorkers that might be reading this, but the pizza tasted great. The crust was perfect done too. read more

I have been wanting to try the pizza under new management since the last owners sold it. The new owners are SOOO friendly and service was quick, food was hot and everything was presented well. I am picky when it comes to pizza. Since it's a food that you can get everywhere it comes down to price, and taste and texture preference. Personally I prefer a sauce with a bit more to it, home slice seems to keep it simple with a basic marina sauce that wasn't anything to excite my pallette. The crust is very bready, it's a thick crust so if you like that, then you will enjoy this. I tend to prefer a thinner crust because I think you can enjoy the toppings better without the bread taking away from the toppings. It was not at all greasy, which was nice. I like the little cup pepperoni's. I added a little mikes hot honey which is a condiment they offer for 1.00 and I really enjoyed that to give it more kick and flavor. I also know they have pesto and Alfredo sauce options and I would be interested in trying a pizza with one of those sauces, but again wasn't a big fan of the crust. The cheese bread was pretty epic! I mean garlic and cheese covered carbs it's hard to mess that up! But definitely better with ranch in this case because again the sauce just isn't anything special. Come to think of it, next time I might get cheese bread with a side of the Alfredo sauce! Yummy! And the main reason I can't give a 4 or a 5 star is simply the price. It was a bit high. I hate to compare to place like in Aberdeen but in reality pizza is pizza, and for a bit of gas I can go to Aberdeen and for the amount I paid here would have gotten maybe 4 medium pizzas. Convenient, yes, but I didn't save any money going the local route. The economy is crazy right now. So yeah I do look at cost. I didn't eat inside as I placed my order to go, but from what I saw I love the brightly lit dining room and everything was clean. Transaction was smooth. Pat is a pleasure to talk to as he just has that friendly customer service thing down! Will I get pizza again? Probably not. But the menu is pretty extensive and there are some other non pizza items I would be willing to try. The other all experience was fine. It's just not the pizza for my tastes. read more

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from Long Beach. The food was great! We ordered a chicken alfredo pizza and a gluten free combo, along with some boneless wings and a milkshake. Everything was delicious and the service was outstanding! The tables were covered in butcher paper and they had crayons at each table. A fun, bright environment that we will surely come back to every time we are back in town. A gem of a place! read more

I can't say enough good things about Home Slice Pizzeria. My wife and I are traveling up the coast in our Rv. We stopped in to pick up a pizza and were really blown away by how good it was. We had a really nice time chatting with the owner who was super friendly. We happened to mention during our conversation that we were going to park the Rv for the night in the nearby city park since all the nearby Rv parks were full for the July 4th holiday. My wife accidentally left her favorite sweatshirt at the table without realizing. A couple hours later, the owner drove by and brought us the sweater along with a Home Slice t shirt. How nice was that? Super cool owners and delicious pie! Give this place a try and you will not regret it. read more

Excellent customer service. They offer gluten free crust that is delicious. I LOVE their buffalo chicken pizza! Our pizza was delivered and they forgot the ranch. We told the driver no problem but shortly after he left he came right back with ranch and threw in a 2 liter of Coca Cola. My only negative is the pizza is a little pricey. Service is cheerful and welcoming! The pizza is more bread like than I typically like, but they had a lot of good choices and the flavor was quite good. I ordered a small Caesar salad, which was a mistake only because it was plenty big enough to enjoy as a meal. I didn't realize that it came with sliced meat (chicken, I believe). It was good, however, I found the topping to be unpleasant to try to chew. The good news was it slowed me down QUITE A BIT. I would definitely ask to skip the 'grains' topping next time, it was obnoxious and added little to the taste. It was my fist visit, and won't be my last. read more

Excellent service. Warm and friendly The food was wonderful, I had the beef short rib penne pasta in red sauce. OMG, the beef short rib was so tender, literally melts in your mouth. I will definitely be back. Also, a wide variety of beer/wine, the Italian beer, was really a nice change of pace. Very good. Best part I live really close. Can't wait to go back for pizza next time.
