We've been bringing our pups to the Jamboree location for quite a while, and up until the beginning…read moreof this year, we had nothing but positive experiences. Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

You can immediately tell Lisa really cares about the dogs and takes her time with them, which means a lot to us. Finding someone you trust with your dog isn't always easy, especially with a Pom and all that fur, but Lisa absolutely nailed it. Holliday seemed happy and comfortable afterward, and he looked fantastic. Great experience from start to finish. We've definitely found Holliday's new groomer. Highly recommend Lisa and Petrichor!

The location is super convenient and the place looks clean. I was a bit surprised that for just nail trim and gland expression that they had to take him to the back so I couldn't see him get his services done. The front room area, which also served as their daycare area (they had one quiet doodle just hanging out there by him/herself), had what looked like wash bins and grooming tables. Anyway, I think the services were performed well. His nails are nice and trimmed and hoping they did a good job on the gland expression since it's not something you can really tell right away. The groomer seemed sweet and said my pup did a good job. When closing out the tab, I was overcharged. I didn't notice it until I had left and thought to myself that the price seemed rather high so I double checked when I got home and sure enough it was a $10 overcharge. When I called and spoke to Victor, he said that nail trim for medium dogs was $18 and gland expression was $30. On their website and on their brochure at the front desk, gland expression is listed as $20 When I pointed this out, he said that was the old pricing but that he could give me a credit for next time. I requested a refund since at this point I knew I wasn't coming back. Instead of a refund of the overcharge, he' said he'd have to void the original charge and then charge the revised amount which is what I opted for.

She did this at a point where I took my dog as a last ditch effort. My dog has extreme allergies (both food and environmental) and scratches ALL day long (if she's not eating or sleeping, she is scratching). Her skin was in terrible condition and she had been ripping her hair out and causing hot spots. When I say I took the dog in horrible condition, I am not exaggerating. Our Vet has given us advice (guesses) and given the dog prescriptions, supplements, injections, and tests....with ZERO improvement! I've spent thousands of dollars trying to get our dog healthy and nothing ever helped! Based on a recommendation to take Gracie to The Spaw I dove in telling myself this is the last time. If this fails, we will just do the best to let her live her life out as comfortably as possible, which is a sad place to be as a dog mom. She's not even 7 years old and she still has a lot of life to live. Meeting Carrie was the best thing that has ever happened to our dog! She recommended some specific testing and said that Shih Tzus often have low Zinc which can lead to skin issues. We had her tested by a Vet and sure enough, her Zinc was SO LOW!!! She made some suggestions about supplements we could give her. At a follow up test, we could see some improvement in her Zinc levels. She also said that it looks like my dog had mange and that Shih Tzus are also susceptible to mites. Our Vet never once mentioned that as a potential cause nor did she test for mange. We did a skin scraping with a different Vet who found no mites, but she suggested we put her on a mite medication for a couple of months. The stuff that came out of/off my dog was disgusting (old die off???)! Through skin cytology, we also confirmed Gracie had serious yeast overgrowth. That was not a mystery to me, because our house smelled so bad! I didn't even like to have people over because it was so embarrassing. Carrie gave Gracie sulfur baths and used some other amazing technologies on her; Ozone baths, red light, blue light, and micro bubbles to name a few. It was a lot of work, but I can tell you for the first time in years, I'm actually optimistic about Gracie's future AND my house no longer smells disgusting. We boarded her for a period of time so we could do some deep cleaning and reset our house before she returned. I'm so glad I made that initial call to The Spaw. Carrie truly loves my dog and my dog loves Carrie! When we drive to The Spaw my dog knows. When we hit Tustin Ranch Road from the 5 Freeway, Gracie starts going crazy! When we get there, she practically jumps out of the car. Thankfully, her harness is clipped in, so she can't get out of her car seat without help. ;) On the subject of Boarding: I love that The Spaw has staff on the premises 24 hours a day and that the dogs aren't locked in crates all day. I am so grateful to see my dog's hair growing back and for her to have noticeably more energy and MUCH less scratching! Carrie clearly loves animals and is a true blessing. She admitted that my dog's issues forced her to do deep dive research to find help for Gracie. I will forever be grateful for the life she has given back to my dog! She is much more than "a groomer!"

Unfortunately, my experience afterward was disappointing. The website specifically advertises a "Current Client Intro to Swim - 30 Min / $10" option, with no limitations or eligibility restrictions listed. However, when I called to schedule that session, I was told it could not be booked. When I asked why the website still lists the Intro to Swim session as an option for current clients, the associate stated that they were unsure why the website reflects that information and instead suggested that I enroll my dog in either a group swim or a private swim. The group class typically includes 10+ dogs, which is very different from the one-on-one guidance offered in an intro class. As a customer, it's frustrating to see a service advertised on the website only to be told it isn't actually available, especially when no restrictions are disclosed. I hope the business either honors the advertised offering or updates the website to accurately reflect its current services.

EveryDog has the single most important part of our puppy's development, and we could not be happier…read morethat we chose the EveryPup program for our furbaby! We brought him in at 13 weeks to the EveryPup Program, where he is in a clean and disinfected facility with other safe and healthy pups and he gets training every day by Dave. Almost from day 1 we started noticing huge changes, and he matured so rapidly it's like we have a different dog! He is very calm, polite and attentive, and has been able to self-regulate so well. Dave is always available for our questions and follow ups, and he sends over progress notes and photos every day from training sessions. We also would ask him about problem behavior such as counter surfing or jumping up on people to greet, and Dave would target those specific behaviors as well. We also appreciated how fast and quickly they acted on our puppy swallowing something he shouldn't have, and immediately gave him some hydrogen peroxide to get him to throw it up, which saved us from extremely expensive and likely traumatic vet visits and possible surgery. Very grateful! Every day we pick up our puppy he is so happy from a day of playing and getting love from all the staff, and is tired and ready for some cuddles and naps when he gets home. The staff here are so caring and really love each dog, I trust them to take care of our puppy. Highly recommend!

We were told for our dog who had started grooming since he was about five months til now he is over 2 years old that they would honor his former pricing due to being "grandfathered" in however this time we scheduled they raised the price on us after all due to size. So it sucks that they took back their statement after all. We really like Laura so much she does a great job. We also have had our puppy Maple get groomed twice and she was charged the new price totally understandable. Grooming done every 6-8 weeks for our dogs. They lost our business for our two dogs due to their inconsistent statements. In response to the manager: thanks for your reply, I appreciate that you tried to make things right. It did take a few days for you to reach out and we had already booked at another groomers. We would appreciate better communication like that since the beginning not after we leave a review. if I had been notified that you would have to transition to the updated pricing eventually, I would have been understanding because I would know what to expect. So instead of saying you would continue to honor that price state you would honor the price for the next two-three sessions and then increase. Better communication goes a long way!
