On the day of the appointment I walked in and no one was at reception. I called the salon number and someone from the back room came over straight away. Dropped off my pet with groomer Petal. Loved her energy and vibes. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her. She took a brief history, and listened to what I was looking for. The grooming service took about 2.5 hours and my dog came back smelling amazing. He was clean and his cut was perfect! And the best part is he was happy (not scared). Dogs are required to be vaccinated and records are to be emailed to them. I like that the bag room has a viewing window for transparency. Will definitely be back.

Today was our first visit taking our newly adopted cat Banana to this groomer. With cats, we knew…read morethere was a possibility of either our cat scratching or being aggressive, but when we picked up Banana we were told he was very calm and they were able to bathe him and trim his nails. The lady at the front desk told us, something along the lines of, oh by the way, the groomer in the back said that his nail looks weird in the back right. We were under the impression they left it alone. So we reply with concern and share that we'd monitor him for any active licking since there hasn't been any concern up until now. She told us that sometimes cat nails are super fragile and that there might have been something black underneath. We went home and took him out of his carrier to see his foot actively bleeding. We attempted to wrap his foot up but had no luck and just put a cone on him until he could receive professional care. This bleeding was not a previous issue and with how much blood came out of his paw, it does not look like he even has a nail there anymore. We understand accidents happen, but I think we would have preferred an honest and upfront conversation. Something like "we're so sorry, he moved when we clipped his nails" would have been much preferable over coming home and seeing our cat actively bleeding.

We've been bringing our pups to the Jamboree location for quite a while, and up until the beginning…read moreof this year, we had nothing but positive experiences. Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

I was assured this would not be a problem, and service continued without issue for months. Recently I received a text requesting proof of a rabies vaccine. I explained that this had already been discussed and approved when I became a client. Rather than receiving a phone call from management, representatives from the company arrived at my business and informed me that they would no longer provide service unless I complied with the vaccination requirement. Businesses certainly have the right to change policies, and I would have appreciated a simple phone call explaining that a policy had changed. Instead, the conversation took place in my workplace, in front of my employees, and felt surprisingly confrontational. The representative's tone came across as dictating what I needed to do rather than having a respectful discussion about a change in company policy. It was uncomfortable and, in my opinion, an inappropriate way to handle a long-standing customer relationship. My groomer always did a nice job, but the communication and customer service from this representative left me very disappointed.

I was able to get an appointment on the morning of the third day, she weighed only 5.4lbs, down from her usual 6+. The vet tech and Dr. Wang were wonderful with her and very patient with all my questions and explanations (as was the staff member on the phone the late afternoon before when I made the appointment). She was given a 10-15 minute hydration infusion as well as injections for nausea and reflux (because of all the vomiting). I also authorized a blood panel. She still didn't eat that day, but the next day woke up with a roaring (yapping?) appetite and all her spunk back. Dr. Wang called me to see how she was doing and to send me the results of the blood panel which he explained was good. He suspects it was pancreatitis and because this is the first time she experienced it at her age, he thinks it will not be chronic. Many thanks to Dr. Wang, a very patient and thorough vet, and the vet tech and staff, for getting us through this.

Her incision and stitches did not look right, and she developed open wounds, signs of infection, and significant discomfort. I contacted the office multiple times, sent photos, and brought her in for a follow-up, yet I was repeatedly told that everything looked normal and that she was fine. After continuing to raise concerns, I was finally told to take her to Irvine Valley Veterinary Hospital. I spent the night there and was charged nearly an additional $1,000 to have her incision re-stitched. It was incredibly frustrating to have repeatedly voiced concerns, only to end up paying significantly more to address a problem I had been told multiple times was "fine." I expressed how unhappy I was with the situation and was told the medical director would contact me. I never received a call. More recently, I noticed a pattern on the whites of my cat's eyes and sent a photo to the office. I was told by the vet that it was not normal and that I should either bring her in or see a veterinary ophthalmologist. I followed their recommendation and went to the ophthalmologist they referred me to, only to be told after a 20 second exam that what I was seeing was completely normal. I still had to pay the office visit and exam fees. Between the complications from her spay, my concerns being repeatedly dismissed, the lack of follow-up from the medical director, and being unnecessarily worried and referred to a specialist for something that turned out to be normal, I've lost confidence in the care provided here. My experiences with Dr. Ramos and other veterinarians at both the primary care office and hospital have left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that the level of care, communication, and professionalism was not what I would expect from a veterinary practice. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
