This place is not for all dogs. I brought my border collie and German shepherd here for a bath and deshed. My German shepherd was still wet, they said it's because she sat down but shouldn't you able to handle a dog that sits? I had to ask them to deshed her again because her hair was shedding in clumps and loose hair was all over her coat. My border collie didn't get a sanitary trim that was included in her bath, her butt and belly fur was as long as it was when we came in. I also watched loose clumps of fur come out in clumps of the Sammy that was picked up at the same time as my girls and watched those parents complain about the service as well I'll not be back Edit: My German shepherd is 11 years old, it's very common for elderly dogs to have bumps, lumps and cysts. If that was something they couldn't accommodate, that should have been communicated and I would have taken her elsewhere. Regardless of that I shouldn't have had to ask for her to be rebrushed at all. Which only happened once, I don't know where the "twice rebrushing came from" It's also uncommon for a sanitary cut to mean different things based on your dog's gender and that should be communicated prior to booking. Had I known that your sanitary trim only included cleaning up around the butthole, and not belly, butt and leg trims which is normal for any other groomer, I wouldn't have been surprised. Regardless my opinion stays the same, they're not equipped to groom dogs of all breeds and will not groom dogs of all genders the same read more

I took my corgi chihuahua mix here for his first grooming a month after we initially adopted him. His nails were long and he was shedding in the house a lot. I made an appointment over the phone, which was quick and easy. Drop off and pick up was simple. They just send you a text once your pet is done. They also asked for rabies vaccination records which was nice and I provided for them. My dog Duncan is still quite a nervous guy but he seemed to do well and he was super clean when I came to pick him up. His nails were trimmed perfectly and he even smelled more pleasant. We took our 110-pound golden retriever, Kevin, to Oops Pet for a bath and groom for the first time today. When I reached out for a quote, they told me it would be around $110-$120, which seemed fair. I was pleased that we were able to get an appointment the very next morning. The shop itself has a super cute aesthetic, and they also sell pet merchandise. Drop-off was smooth - we just had to sign a waiver and show Kevin's vaccination records. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and let us know it would take about two and a half hours and that they would text us when he was ready. Two and a half hours later, we got the text. When we picked him up, Kevin smelled great and looked fresh. I had requested a nail trim, some fur trimming, and an ear cleaning (but no anal gland expression), and they delivered on all of that. Overall, I was really happy with the experience. I especially appreciate supporting smaller, local businesses over big chains (I'll never take Kevin back to PetSmart for grooming again). My dog had a grooming service for the first time. The hair cut was quick, but not to our satisfaction. They spent some time to understand what we want and tried to make it up. When we got home, my dog kept scratching himself so bad every day, and his skin is turning red and having some kind of infection. This had never happened before. We are taking him to vet tomorrow to see if there is any way we can do. It is definitely not recommended. Kiba had his first groom at Oops on 6/15/23; they took excellent care of our chunky poodle mix. Being 12 years old, he has some older dog issues such as a lipoma on his belly and a few warts on his body; it's all harmless and at his age we won't put him under anesthesia unnecessarily, but it is always a particular concern that he might be nicked during haircuts. However, Kiba left Oops with a clean, shiny white coat, tangle and burr free, looking adorable with his summer cut, and no nicks or injuries whatsoever. I will say his ears seemed a little irritated after, but I think this could be easily solved by maybe trying something different to clean them? I also appreciate that they caught some fleas I had missed on him, immediately let me know, and even texted me pictures during his flea bath. Kiba does get a little nervous when I drop him off, but when I arrived for him, he was calmly waiting for me, and I felt comfortable and happy with my choice of taking him to Oops. Prices were also very reasonable / comparable to chain stores. Kiba visited Oops again on 9/28/23, and I can say we are again very pleased with the experience and results! Making an appointment is quick and easy; they send text updates during the groom and seem to genuinely care about our pet's wellbeing. Mia did an amazing job grooming my dog. The front desk staff was super friendly to both me and my dog. I asked Mia to shave my dog down short and leave her face fluffy for a teddy bear cut. I saw this place online and I decided to come here to bring my multi-poo and my golden doodle. I showed up @ 9:16 my apt was at 9:30, the woman walks up and closed the door behind her. When obviously I was waiting for her to open. My dogs have not been groomed in a while because my old groomer broke her back and was not able to take them. So they were grown out and needed TLC , I told the woman on the phone when I bought that they had not been groomed in a while. She never made it a problem. I brush my dogs. I comb my dogs I even use the rake. If they have any type of matt I get in she says they are extremely matted, I say no they're not she goes, Yes they are. I said give me a brush I'll show you so start brushing the dog because we charge $20 every 15 minutes to brush the dogs, I ask so does that mean you don't brush the dogs when you're grooming them. She goes no brushing like this is dematting, this is $20 every 15 minutes at this point I'm overwhelmed and insulted Everybody wants the dogs to be on routine and not be all that much meanwhile charging you know upwards of $300 for both of them to be groomed and no one wants a project. She proceeds to tell me that if the groomer comes in and sees "this" she will kill her and she laughs. I was completely offended completely insulted she calls her business partner tells her that they start speaking in a language I do not understand she's giggling on the phone and she tells me all we can do is shave them down. You should take them to your old groomer, I've never been treated so poorly completely crushed the customer service is awful and they put a complete stain on my day unless your dog is in routine with them I do not recommend them. Also the appointment was at 930 the dog groomer still was not there. How you treat people matters, how someone walks away after being in your presence matters. To be treated terribly and to be laughed at. Completely awful. If I could give no stars I would. UPDATE: called the owner about the fact that she uploaded footage that had myself plus my toddlers in it. I explained that I wanted to taken down be cause it is not authorized. She was very argumentative, did not take down the video. Please if you see the link report it. I have not spammed or threatened anyone. Called once to ask for the video to be taken down. It's obviously clear what is going on. Such an easy scape goat "the black woman is threatening us" I did not , nor have I made spam calls All I did was post a review and they would like to assassinate my character. This place is terrible. I came in for the first time and the front desk lady and the male groomer in the back acted like they did not need any business. Both came off as very rude. The lady in the front desk asked me to sign in several times when I have already said that I need a bit of time to make sure my dog is calm. My dog gets a bit anxious for groomers and new places so I just wanted him to get used to the environment but the lady was looking at me like I should be hurrying up. The groomer also doesn't understand how some dogs can get a bit anxious and both of them did not have the best regard for my dog. They said they have a process and MUST keep the dog in the cage. I was only requesting to give my dog the most minimal time in the cage and their response to me was to find a mobile groomer. Every dog is different and I know what my dog needs to be calm for his grooming, but these people did not understand that. They seem inexperienced in dealing with pets and their psychology. I don't recommend going to this place if you want people to give your dog the best care. Hello All! I am writing an review on oops pet. I took my dog back in June 24. Yes I know my review is very late but I cannot stand for how they cut my puppy. I specifically showed and ask the two Asian ladies that are always at the front to do my puppy like the first picture. For some odd reason they didn't understand I wanted a puppy cut. They decided to cut all of his fur off of his body and also cut his face very uneven. At the time I didn't pay attention when I walked out and didn't asked for my money back. I just want all to be aware because the pictures they post aren't how they will really treat and cherish your pup. I recently took my pet to this local groomer with high expectations. They don't check for pets vaccine records, which is a huge red flag. After about a few days, my pup started having hair loss, a 103 fever, and scabbing on her skin. We took her to the vet, and they told us that it would be caused by either the groomer not drying her completely, or picking up a skin bacteria. We told the vet that this particular groomer does not ask for vaccine records, and they confirmed that would've been the cause. I'd highly recommend avoiding this place, and finding a more reputable groomer with a track record of a more hygienic practice. read more
