I have been a pretty loyal customer for past 3 years with Homeshield and this year my ants infestation has been out of control even with maintenance care by Homeshield. I missed my old crew who were always there for my family and a little reassurance from them that they will take care of it went a long way for me throughout the years. However this year there was a particular regular tech that came to my area that just sprayed and had this weird vibe that he did not ever want to do more than asked. When I found ant trails in my closets, kitchen, all around my home, my kids playroom areas, I requested homeshield to send me a tech to resolve this issue since simple spraying was not working. They sent that same tech after two weeks he sprayed and he had the nerve to say that the number of ants was never going to go away because of my neighbors??? He looked at me as he was spraying around my kids play area and told me that its only been a week since he came so that I am basically impatient for making him come to my house to spray! No, its been two weeks since he sprayed and also I have been dealing this ants infestation for months. Then he continued to say that this is not an infestation. I wonder what his definition of infestation is if he doesn't even have any clue on how to do his job properly. If you can't do your job, at least be understanding that I am a busy working mom AND I have little kids to take care of and literally, I am seeing ants on their faces or on my body. How is this not an infestation?! Anyways, I discontinued service with Homeshield and found someone local. Two stars are for the people I loved working with. read more

This is some of the best money I ever spent. They honor their word when they say you can call them anytime between scheduled services. They always come the day they promise and do a fantastic job. I signed up for this service over a year ago and they have taken care of my bug problems. I do not like bugs so the service is worth it. Bryan has been to my house a few time. He is very professional and he goes above and beyond. He does a great job every time he's here and it is apparent because all my cobwebs are gone. I also asked if he could pay extra attention to a utility box because it was the source of a lot of roaches. We just started with HomeShield for our house in Mar Vista. We spoke to Justin on the phone who was knowledgeable and informative, and easy to work with. Abraham came the next day for an initial treatment. He was sensitive to the fact we had two children. Instead of rush the service, he did the outside and advised we do the inside in two weeks, when we're better prepared. He did a thorough outdoor treatment, looking through every part of the front, sides, back, patio, and garage. At the end, he gave us a summary of his findings, and how we'd work with the property on an ongoing basis. I've been struggling with a rat issue at my house. I had a pest company a year and a half ago come but they didn't seal all the potential holes. Bryan Gonzalez the technician came to my house to give me a quote! He was very informative and honest with me. I could tell right away he was trustworthy and caring. He even showed me some of the work that would need to be done and for sure found the hole which I was relieved to hear. He didn't pressure me or anything to sign up for work done or pest control but I decided to go with the pest control quarterly service! I've gotten a few quotes and many of them weren't that friendly or were pushy and I didn't feel good about it. Additionally when I did work with another pest company before and when the rat came back they wanted me to pay for a reinspection fee -.- I wasn't happy about that and I'm really happy to have gotten this pest service. Looking forward to getting the bugs sprayed, spider webs gone, and also a little help with my rat problem too. That way I don't have to and my wife will be happy since she hates bugs haha. This business is poorly managed. I attempted to hire them to take care of a problem inside the house which required me to pack up a pantry and stay out of the house for four hours with pets. They had a 5 hour window to get. To the house 12 to 5. They arrived at 6:20. I had spent 300$ to have the house cleaned and pets lodged at a house sitters that couldn't keep them past 9:00. Then they promised to come back at 8:00 and they never showed up. Horrible customer service and work ethic! read more

We have had HomeShield come to our house for a few years, since our next-door neighbor has 11 cats, so we have a lot of fleas in our yard -- and before we hired HomeShield, in our house. They have helped us improve the flea situation and they also spray for ants, cockroaches, spider mites, etc. They are efficient and easy to work with and Abraham is very communicative. We appreciate that he texts us an estimate of when he will be arriving, so we can make sure our dogs go to the bathroom in the yard before the spraying, since they can't go in the yard for a little while after.
