Immediately after signing the contract (and I mean literally, *immediately* after) there was a dramatic switch. We were locked in and they knew it. Caveat emptor. The three years of coverage was periodically marked by technical issues that were a pain to coordinate and resolve. Our outdoor storage shed got burgled a couple of times and interacting with True Protection I just remember having the sense that they did not GAF, to be blunt. The alarm system, and monitoring was a nuisance and source of stress. You will be better served with a DIY solution from Best Buy that does not rely on locking yourself in to these contracts. It is incredibly rare for me to bother giving a negative review. I try to review small businesses I interact with who do great work. When I saw the email soliciting reviews in my inbox, I was kinda shocked. Looking at all the glowing reviews, I found myself agreeing with another reviewer who thought this was deluged with friends and family pumping the numbers. It's just hard for me to imagine a company that consistently delivered such a poor customer experience for multiple years could have these glowing reviews. I I will say it again: prior to signing the contract they are amazing. After you sign it is all downhill. Beware.

I don't think its possible to feel more let down or ripped off by the work that was performed by…read moreAudioMaster. They had two jobs to do and failed on both. The first job was to cut out a hole in my back panel so a subwoofer properly aligned with the hole. Which unfortunately they messed up their measurements and cut a hole in my car and the speaker did not align. Therefore I have a hole in the side of my car with nothing behind it except for part of an amp. I also paid money for a speaker grill that is purposely designed to rest on top of a subwoofer however there is nothing is behind it now. The second job was to install a working audio system into my car. After 1 month of the job being complete, the system has totally failed. So in a nutshell, I have a hole in side of my Range Rover side panel and an audio system that does not work. Oh and I'm out $2,000 USD. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I wanted to update my A/V equipment to improve both the stereo music and surround sound in our…read morefamily room (not a dedicated home theater). After researching equipment I found that ALP offered one of two A/V receiver brands, the Audio Control AVR series, that could compensate for the difficult aspects of the room (wood floors, lots of glass, open kitchen concept) because they can be calibrated with DIRAC. Able came to my home to access the situation and concluded the receiver and calibration would definitely improve my stereo sound and modestly improve my surround sound. After installation I realized a dramatic improvement in both! The ALP team also installed a motorized fireplace mount (very cool!), and reconfigured all of my other A/V equipment for the best connections to the new AVR-9 receiver. Excellent job! The consultation was free of any sales pitch, the installation and calibration was done by genuine experts in the most professional manner. Although I usually DIY, in this instance it really paid to have such professionals do the thinking and all the work. As a result, I now have a sound that rivals any home theater despite my room's issues. Thank you ALP!
