My favorite Thai food in the east bay and there are several in downtown Walnut Creek I tried. This one is still my favorite. The service is always great even when busy, The ambiance is cute, not a very big place. Has both booth and table seating.

So good! Great prices with great flavors. My new go to for Thai food in WC. They have very friendly staff! I haven't sat in before, only doing takeouts, but the service is quick and efficient (less than 15 minutes for my meal). They had cute decor inside! The food is really good and a bang for your buck. The green curry was sweet and tado wish there was more veggies in the pad see ew but other than that no complaints!!

Our favorite main dish was the pumpkin pork, which was served in a squash shell. Incredible presentation and excellent seasoning, without being very spicy. We bulked up with shrimp pad Thai. We rounded out the meal with marinated beef, which was a little tough but tasted great. We also had 3 orders of rice for 5 people. The service was so kind and welcoming, while the food was very, very good. We will definitely be back. The only negative was the noise level. The food is consistently delicious and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. While I've had more authentic thai food elsewhere, I appreciate that the dishes here feel lighter and don't leave me feeling overly full or greasy afterward. The service has consistently been fine--nothing particularly memorable, but never a bad experience either. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a fresh, flavorful, and dependable meal.

There was a slight mishap this time though I made the reservation about three days before Valentine's Day and received a confirmation text. Then the day before Valentine's Day, I got another text saying my reservation was canceled, which definitely threw me off. Thankfully, I called the restaurant and they were able to get everything situated and reinstate my reservation. That was a relief. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hostess who asked if we had a reservation and then directed us to our table. I really liked our table location it felt comfortable and perfect for a date night. The ambience of the restaurant was nice and set the tone for a great evening. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. For drinks, I got a Summer Breeze and my girl had the Tai Chi. For appetizers, we ordered the Lady Fingers which I never had before but were really good. For our main dishes, we had the pineapple fried rice, cashew chicken, and Pad See Ew. I stepped out of my food comfort zone with the cashew chicken and Pad See Ew, but I made the right decision because both dishes were delicious. One unexpected kicker was that they boxed up our leftovers for us, which was a really nice touch and something I appreciated. Overall, this was a great Valentine's Day experience. The ambience was nice, the food was good, and the service was solid. I'd rate my experience a 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back.

I ask the waitress (different than the food runner) if this is accurate and if it is a violation to which she says yes and then takes our food away. we do have to wait quite a bit of time until our remade food comes out but it is what it is. additionally, when the remade food arrives, the non baked sushi looks exactly the same as it was before. im guessing their plating skills are exquisite and accurate because the waitress saw my concern and also brought out the contaminated plate to show us that the one at our table was newly made, as shown in the photos. i really appreciated that clarification but it seems as though they just don't care about basic health code protocol here or constantly slip up, which is rather unfortunate. and all in the name of having some japanese/thai food with the family.

As a group of 4, we were able to sit comfortably at a table and have conversations without any struggle of noise. The dish I chose is a type of seafood dish with a green curry base. Quick tip is to make sure you order rice separately as some of these dishes will not automatically come with it. Starting with the curry base, the consistency was just right and not too thick. The coconut balanced with Thai basil and spices provided a nice spicy kick to it as well that wasn't too overpowering. The seafood, from the shrimp to squid, was cooked to tender perfection and was not rubbery or overcooked. I also appreciated the portion size as if you do go with a group, you can definitely share some of these dishes and it feels more family-style. The green curry was good, but wasn't as rich in flavor as I was expecting it to be. The consistency of the curry was on the watery end. We ordered everything as we would at any Thai restaurant with our go to dishes but I have never paid $200+. It almost felt like getting robbed. 20% was added to our bill for 3 adults and 2 kids. I was kind of thrown off with the portions so much that I didn't take pictures of everything. We ordered tom kha gai, chicken wings, chicken satay, crab fried rice, pad see ew, green curry eggplant with chicken, and garlic calamari. Of all the dishes, I really enjoyed the pad see ew. Extra star because I do want to support a family business but I do hope there are some changes to portions for the price. Service was great, and their staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was good, but pricey.

General Manager), we were the fortunate ones yesterday! Rest of the story: we booked the entire restaurant for a lunch event on Sunday. With about 70 guests, the event went exceptionally smoothly and everyone had a great time! Not even one unhappy guest! The food, as usual, was exceptional. Justin personally tended the bar - with his staff - and kept everyone happy with their exotic cocktails. The fresh coconuts were so delicious and popular that I later heard them tell each other: "coconuts are 86!" He even made a very selective guest happy with a special sipping tequila! What made the most impact was their attitude. They dealt exceptionally well with demanding customers and cheerfully served the rest! Andy helped plan the event with cocktails, appetizers, mains and desserts. They suggested creating a Spotify playlist for the event and that worked great. From the beginning till the end, their flexibility, attitude and willingness to make every possible effort to make it a great event was obvious! Seven stars!

The service is very friendly, with a pleasant ambiance. I'd eat here very regularly if they can cut-down on the oil (no reason to use that much oil). Else, it would have to be a very rare meal.

I gave Imm Thai another try, tried Thai Table, and even Glom Thai (which replaced Sistory), but none of them had the same quality or flavors I had been missing. I also loved Banana Leaf in El Cerrito before it closed, so I figured those days were over. Then I found out the owners of Sistory had opened Saneh Bangkok in Pleasant Hill, so we decided to celebrate my aunt's birthday there. Wow, it exceeded all of our expectations. Every single dish was outstanding, and honestly, even better than I remembered from Sistory. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Red Curry, Spring Rolls, and the fried chicken with roti and Massaman curry. Everything was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and packed with flavor. The noodles had that authentic wok flavor I'd been searching for, the curry was rich and delicious, and the roti with Massaman curry was absolutely incredible. The portions were generous, the service was warm and attentive, and the whole experience reminded me why I loved Sistory so much in the first place. We were so full that we didn't have room for dessert, but next time I am definitely getting the mango sticky rice! As if that wasn't enough, I also learned the owners are behind Thai Lao Pakaoma in El Cerrito, which took over the old Banana Leaf location--and it's only five minutes from my house! Now I'm even more excited to try that one too. If you were a fan of Sistory or Banana Leaf, do yourself a favor and check out Saneh Bangkok. Flavors were on the muted side of the spectrum. The lychee salad was quite nice as it had a slight kick to it. Surprisingly, there were a few gigantic prawns as part of this salad! The fried vegetarian egg rolls were decent and came with a dipping sauce. The pork satay was quite Americanized as the pork was on the leaner side and cooked towards a well done. The satay sauce was quite muted too. The crab fried rice was tasty and featured a generous amount of crab on top. Favorites included the short rib which was gigantic and super tender. The curry was decent too. This came with a side of jasmine rice. Opted for the sweet roti along with the mango sticky rice. Both were tasty. The mangoes were ripe and the sticky rice was quite tasty with the condensed milk. ~$60/head after tax and gratuity for dinner.
