89 year old mother took her 2001 Honda in for a sticky transmission lever. She was told she needed $6300 for breaks, a timing belt, struts, cleaningup the transmission (something had spilled inside) and a battery cable. She refused all services, except for the transmission clean up, which was to be $500. When she got the car, they charged $400, but total price estimate was now over $9000. She had brought the car to them in November of last year, at which time none of these problems had been mentioned. She took the car to a reputable shop and none of the extra items were necessary. Their service depart sucks, I usually go to the Palmdale location but decided to come to this location for a simple tire light check because it's close to my work. I arrived for my appointment and after waiting in my car the nice attendant guy instructed me to go inside and see Yasmin. I stand inside for another 5 minutes, she walks over to her desk and didn't look my way or acknowledge me. I said ok she's busy I'll wait. The guy that's working next to her asked me what I was in for, I told him and he took it upon himself to help me. I didn't get his name. He was also nice, The Yasmin lady seemed very annoyed like she really didn't want to be there. I will not return to this location I will continue to go to the Palmdale location. They sold me a car in 2022 with tags about to expire when I inquired about a fee they were charging me the pushy guy selling me the car told me it was to transfer the car to my name and that the tags would be sent to me. Took my car in Feb 26 for an oil change and for them to check on the recalls, as well as the Apple car play which was not working, told me my car was good to go. She laughed about the car play and told me most iPhone users are having problems with it... April 10th my car stopped on the freeway due to the same recall, took it in they told me it would be a couple of hours. My car ended up stayed overnight, which I was never informed of. 3 weeks later, I notice something is scraping underneath my car, turns out they forgot to put the bolts back in the bottom part of the vehicle. I have a 2023 accord. The overall service I received from when I traded in my old car, to servicing my new vehicle has been a nightmare. This service department has not grasped simple things like answering the phone when you need to make an appointment or even walking out of their office to help you when you drop your car off (not before you wait outside in the heat for about 30 minutes even though you have an appointment). Service department: Usually you go to a dealership to get your car service because it's more reliable. HOWEVER, don't bother coming here. Came for a regular oil change and tire rotation and they do their regular MULTI INSPECTION. My last service they passed my tail light TWICE, even after been notified that they passed it the first round. Made me question my oil change. Then thought the issue was solved. Took it again for another oil change and tire rotation. The next day my battery notification came on. CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM. I checked the multi inspection and the PASSED my battery. So we thought maybe it's alternator. Yasmin one of the service advisors said it was just a coincidence that it MUST be the alternator since they PLUG IN THE BATTERY TO CHECK IN THE MULTI INSPECTION. We thought maybe you are right. She mentioned it was $120 to just run the code. So we decided to just double check and took it to Auto Zone to check the battery. Turns out we have a BAD BATTERY, which the multi inspection "passed." I told them they said they can reduce the price to run the code. THATS NOT THE ISSUE!! The issue is I come here because I trust you will do what you say you will do. But clearly your mechanics are not checking properly and are making me question the oil change for my car and any other service they do. FIX IT! Make sure your TEAM IS WORKING PROPERLY. Don't tell me that it's their (the mechanics) issue. You guys are a team and I don't talk to a mechanic I talk to you. My advisors. Hoping to make a proper complaint to the manager on Monday. The service here has gotten worse and worse. I just brought my car here to get the brakes serviced. They then tell me I also need my rotors replaced which were perfectly fine. My total then was brought from 150 to 750. They said, oh I can give you a discount and gave me 10 percent off. After getting my car back, it appeared that my tires had not been rotated, though I had been charged for it (I have minor damage on one of my rims and that rim was still in the same place after service). I told my service provider who spoke to the mechanic. The mechanic said he did not rotate my tires, as it was not needed. Yet they had no problem billing me for it. Was refunded for the tire rotation that was not completed, but it makes me wonder how many people have paid for tire rotations that have never been rotated. Won't be coming back here for services. I wouldn't recommend going to this place I bought my car in full on April 23,2021 . Within a week The car had to be put in the shop and they fixed my car because their is something wrong with the wheel it was making noises . Then after that I got my car back and not even a couple days later something was wrong my radiator , me and my dad repaired it . Not even week after that my car went into limp mode , I couldn't drive it . Still to this day I have problems with it and it still goes in limp mode and they told me when I got the car there was nothing wrong with it . DON'T NOT RECOMMEND also still can't drive it till this day and it's September 15,2021 Update on the car : 1) AC compressor sized and is leaking ac oil and dye and engine harness needs to be replaced due to internal short. 2) Electrical concern with lights, doors and truck not opening vehicle needs body control module. I took my car in to get repaired for my axle and other parts, however it is literally taking them, 3 to almost 4 months to get it back to me. We were asked to come in to get an offer above the Kelly Blue Book value for our car. The car is in excellent condition and has average mileage for the year model it is. We were offered 10% below trade in value (per Kelly blue book). 10% below trade in value and we also had the extended warranty that covered anything bumper to bumper to 120,000. Also I purchased the maintenance plan which covers all scheduled maintenance up to 60,000 miles. The car currently has 45,000 miles. I asked why such a low offer and the response was "2018 Civics EX-T models aren't in high demand." The EX-T model has a turbo charger and averages 42 MPG. I was like WTF? We visited this dealership on Saturday to test drive a new Honda with intent to purchase. We worked with 2 salesmen and were treated rudely and with condescension because we questioned the price of the car we were looking at...and attempted to negotiate. We actually were given a Costco Auto Club membership cost which was more than the MSRP on the sticker and I questioned this. They became irate and insulting and one of the men walked away. When I told the other salesman that I didn't want to purchase at that price he grabbed the estimate saying I wasn't allowed to have it and told us to leave. When I asked for the photo copies of my license and Costco credit card back he refused to give them to me, walked to the door, opened it and said leave!! My daughter-in-law was having her car serviced, which she had puchased from this dealership so we walked to the service department. She spoke with the Sales Manager about the incident and he did return the photocopy of my license but not my credit card. He also apologized for his sales people and said he would speak with them!
