I've been pierced several times before, but my nieces were first timers. Sara took the time to explain everything from how it will heal to aftercare and jewelry upgrade. We also met the owner, and she was just amazing. She was even selling my husband on what would look good on him. All in all we all felt really "taken care of" and we will be back! I came to Hone Piercing to get my septum re-pierced, and honestly left feeling a bit disappointed. This was my second time getting it done, so I had a sense of what to expect and was really hoping for a better experience. Afterward, I noticed my piercing looked crooked. When I brought it up to my piercer, she mentioned that I have a deviated septum, which was something that wasn't brought up at all before the piercing. I wish that had been discussed ahead of time because it definitely affects how it looks and how I feel about it. The studio itself was nice and clean and everyone was polite, but I just wish there had been better communication and more attention to detail, especially for how much I paid. Hopefully this helps them be more transparent with clients in the future when it comes to anatomy and expectations. read more

So I decided to check out Hone I always pass by when I work out next door at Orange Theory. I thought let me just walk in and shop since I don't need a piercing. So I had to get my ears re-pierced as they closed up after not wearing earrings regularly since the pandemic. I had gotten my first piercing when I was a teen and it was goofy to begin with - kinda low and on one side a weird angle. Was a little nervous but I'm SO HAPPY I came to Hone Piercing. It's clean and welcoming. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Check in process was so easy. Once you're all checked in and you pick your earrings and I then got taken into a very clean and welcoming room. I did a simple earlobe piercing on both my ears and unfortunately I can't remember the gentleman who did my piercing other than he was gentle, thorough, patient, and explained everything. He explained the process - what he would be doing, what to expect, etc. It didn't hurt AT ALL. Just a little pressure and that was it! 4.7/5 -- I went on July 30, 2025. Definitely would recommend, just pricer than I expected -- I paid $300 ($150 for mini-curation + 3 earrings + saline cleaning solution + tax). I think they had a special offer (free jewelry) if you're a new client getting a piercing, but didn't seem to apply to mini-curations. I didn't have an appointment and simply googled piercing places near me with high ratings. Went in without a plan, just knew I wanted at least 2 more ear piercings (not on the lobe). I was handed an iPad to fill out paperwork and required a picture of photo ID. They made me feel welcomed. I ended up doing a mini-curation (3 piercings or more) for $150. The piercer, Paul, was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. I said I'd trust them to pick where to pierce my ear and then they helped me pick appropriate jewelry given my concerns (my very curly hair getting stuck in jewelry). Once we figured all that out and everything was sanitized, I went to a pristinely clean room to get pierced. Paul explained everything and since I've had many piercings, we talked about that and I got new tips and tricks. After marking the locations (hidden helix, flat, & conch), he used a light source to make sure he wouldn't hit any capillaries. He used needles (not guns) and it didn't hurt a bit (but I have a very high pain tolerance). Paul recommended I go back if anything seems off or if I just needed reassurance on the healing process (free of cost). He also recommended I go back in 6-8wks to get the jewelry downsized (I think $5 per piercing?). Very pleased with the experience and results. read more
