Never order Falooda from this restaurant. All they give is skim milk mixed with Rose syrup. No Ice cream , no basil seeds and no vermicelli. My wife , who is from Mumbai, literally cried after seeing the liquid ' called' Falooda. The price doesn't come cheap either . It's a whopping 7 bucks for the milk liquid ! This was on my bookmark for a while, so I was very excited when I finally got to go here. Place is pristine - I loved their decor! Service was prompt. I ordered a masala dosa and a mixed nuts milkshake. It was freshly prepared and the chutneys were good as well. I give it a star less as my gluten sensitivity kicked in after dinning here. I went to Honest for a second time. Like last time, the food was great. The service was...not great. The spring dosa was interesting. It was a bit brummagem. It didn't seem authentically Indian, but it was tasty. I would describe it as a Indo-Chinese style veggies wrapped in dosa. The samosa chaat was really good. The yogurt and red sauce tapered the spiciness of the samosas. I also enjoyed the utthappam with coconut sauce. The milkshake was overpriced. This is probably what's wrong with Indian restaurants in the US. They just seem not able to hold up the standards or as laid back as in the land & have just taken up things for granted!! I mean if you look around every country takes pride in their cuisine, be it Mexican, Italian, French you name it but not Indian joints. It's the presentation and the simple thought that someone would eat the food hence that last mile of thought to add joy matters. This is a nice place to get Western Indian food especially street food. I love this place over their Schaumburg location and I'm so glad they have more options here. I wish the food was a little less spicy. But not sure if it would taste the same. Highly recommend pulao, pao bhaji, sandwich and mango lassi. All very good except dahi Puri which was just dahi and hardly potato and chutney. Decor is amazingly done and service is good too. I gind servers friendly. Second time went as we were craving for the Samosa chat. So ordered that and bhel Puri, chilli paneer, noodles again with hot n sour soup. Ordered -Dry Gobi Manchurian , cheese pizza , schezwan fried rice , samosa , aloo chat and rava masala dosa for our group. Dry gobi is full of oil .literally wet gobi. Schezwan fried rice is also full of oil and cannot complete portion . Cheese pizza . Not near to pizza anyway . Attached pic . Just a dried bread crust , with cold Tomato sos and grated cheese . We got the table right away and ordered but then, it seemed that all people who came the same time or later were already eating except from us. Our food finally came and ooh boy, it was simply delicious. The spices were right there! I ordered masala dosa. That was the best masala dosa outside of the Hindu Temple cafeteria in Lemont. Not even Devon section can offer that amazing flavor. All is about the chutney and sambar. This sambar was full of flavor and spices. Dosa itself was melting in my mouth. My hubby ordered uttapam. It was very good and also came with the same 2 chutneys and sambar. He loved it. As an appetizer we ordered vegetable samosas. They were outstanding but unfortunately they came at the same time as our dishes, well my dosa came first so my hubby was munching on it as well. Then he got his uttapam and then our samosas arrived. I love love this place! Of course the food is AMAZING but the staff is also phenomenal! I personally get the the bhaji pav (extra pav), special sandwich (must) and the manchow soup. I had a wonderful experience at this location. There is ample parking in the strip mall and everything was hot and made fresh to order. You could taste the freshness. My wife and I visited this Indian fast casual restaurant recently. Ambiance is nicer than most fast food Indian places but that's not saying much. Food was good. My wife had the Masala Rava Dosa and I had Pav Bhaji. To gain extra weight we decided to order a scoop of ice cream (forgot the flavor name) and it was very good.
