The meat and the banchan were delicious. The sides are okay, I tried the dumplings, egg roles, and cheese corn. The dumplings and egg roles had a weird texture and were hard. The cheese corn seems like it's made with canned corn, which wasn't very good. The service was good, however no one came to fill up our banchan bowls this time. We only got one set of banchan for a table of five, which was too little. As far the cleanliness of the restaurant, the restaurant didn't seem to clean and the bathroom was dirty.

A new KBBQ restaurant in San Luis county! We came during dinner time and decided on AYCE (All You Can Eat) which is $43.99 per person with a 1.5 hour time limit. We basically had all the basic side dishes, an order of corn cheese, kimchi stew, rice, and rice paper. However, I wouldn't recommend the rice paper. At least when I visited it was tough and hard to break. For food, we got an assortment of: bulgogi, thin sliced brisket, spicy pork, thin sliced pork belly, garlic butter shrimp, and spicy baby octopus. For drinks, we got large Sapporos and Bok Bun Ja (Black Raspberry Wine). Everything was so so good and for the price?! Amazing. P.S. it's even cheaper during lunch time for AYCE, 12-3 pm M-F for $33.99 per person with a one hour time limit!

I'm so excited SLO has a KBBQ spot that's a) open late(r) b) is all you can eat c) has good banchan d)gives the kbbq vibes I had tried the one in atescadero (disappointing) and had been making the pilgrimage to Santa Maria for sizzling gogi for my fix since moving from LA. This saves me so much time in driving. Overall the variety in meats were good. LOVE that I can order from an ipad vs waving a server down every few minutes. And the staff was friendly. Now what would it take to get a soft tofu restaurant??

Lots of choices of meat, and awesome toppings/extras! The staff was so quick with bringing anything we needed and the meat was extremely fresh tasting. It was one of my first times enjoying KBBQ and it was so much fun and a great atmosphere

We tried out the new Korean bbq spot in slo and it was amazing!!! Such good food! We went with a group of 6 so it was chaotic cooking but worth the price for the amount of people with the all you can eat. You can get kimchee fried rice instead of white rice which I did! The experience was nothing like SLO has. One of my favorite food experiences and the staff was great! Super quick and helpful. They're doing a great job

It was our first time here and we waited for an hour and a half to get seated. The place is small. The customer service is consistent. The selection not bad. We did enjoy our food and the customer service. We will be back for more

Atmosphere, service and food all EXCELLENT! We had the all you can eat. Fun hot skillets at your table to cook your meats and veggies. Definitely going back.

    Do they have rice paper?

No they do not. They do offer tortillas, sesame leaves, lettuce

The grill policy is a 2-person minimum. Does this restaurant only serve parties of two and more? Or can it serve solo diners as well without grill seating.

Minimum of 2 person on a grill. I don't think they have an option for entree orders quite yet.

    Do you take reservations?

    No reservations at this time

You order at the counter and are given a number. Since they weren't very busy, they brought the food to my table, which I appreciated. The prices were on the high side, though fairly typical for many Vietnamese restaurants in California. I ordered the pork platter with rice and fried egg rolls. The portion size was about right. The rice was fine--nothing particularly memorable. The pork was a generous serving and had visible grill marks, but it didn't seem freshly grilled. It appeared to have been grilled previously and then reheated. It was served hot, but the texture and presentation were not what I would expect from freshly grilled meat. Fresh off the grill would have made a noticeable difference. The egg rolls were crispy on the outside, but the filling was dry and fairly unremarkable. They weren't bad, but they weren't a standout item either. The plate also came with iceberg lettuce, sliced tomato, cucumber, and pickled carrot and radish. The cucumber was fine, while the pickled vegetables were a bit more sour than I prefer. The biggest surprise was the dipping sauce for the egg rolls. Instead of the typical Vietnamese dipping sauce, which is usually one of my favorite parts of the meal, this version had quite a bit of chili added and was much spicier than expected. Some people may enjoy that, but it wasn't what I was anticipating. Overall, the meal was good, but not memorable enough to justify going out of my way for it. The prices felt a little high given the fast-food atmosphere. If I happened to be in the area again, I might stop in and give it another try, but I wouldn't make a special trip to return.

That said, good portion, the meat and eggs were great and the noodles weren't bad. Def felt like instant noodles but not bad. All combined I would likely come back though the pricing is a bit high.
