Worst boba I have ever tasted. Not made with real ingredients. It's made out of powder. You can taste the powder when you sip. I bought 4 drinks didn't return them because I felt bad since it's a small business. Honestly the worst quality.

    Espresso boba large

Would come back and try other items on the menu. Staff were very nice and friendly. Plenty of seating and quick service

I'm an Executive in Sales and travel throughout Northern California and am always looking for a great Taro Boba. This is BY FAR one of the best I've tasted! They will gladly adjust your sweetness % to what you prefer. $5.49 Medium! $5.99 Large! They have fabulous deserts, as well!!

I love the boba that i order here... it is not too sweet, refreshing especially in the summertime when you just need to quench your thirst. The boba is also nice and firm. I've never tried their buns but they definitely smell sooo good.

    Full of ice!

I tried their featured item and did not expect to have it full with ice! I asked the cashier that was way too much ice for the drink and she responded" that's how much ice my manager tells me to put" if that's true. What a rip off! I was so disappointed with my purchase. I spent $5.60! Almost $6 for a small cup of ice! Will not be returning to this place at all! Horrible customer service! When you go to Starbucks if the customer is not pleased with the drink they would make the adjustment not ignore them. So if you want to come pay for ice this is the perfect place! Drank 6-7 sips and was completely gone! If you're coming here make sure to ask for NO ICE! And expect awful service!

This is the only decent milk tea place in Salinas. This Honey Berry is also way better than the one at the mall. Their milk tea is tasty and the boba is chewy. Their Cheese Roti bun is awesome!!! The place is clean and they social-distance. The only thing is that you can't substitute toppings in your drink. They can take toppings off but if you want to add toppings they will charge you more.

Had been craving a boba for so long and when I finally got it I nearly choked on what seems to be a piece of a sponge

    Ohhhh yeaaahhh taro boba!

Yum! Delicious boba drinks, good service, spacious & clean seating area. We came to Honey Berry for a late snack at around 9 in the evening. We were greeted by a smiling worker when we came in who was also helpful with ordering. Both the hubby and I ordered a blended taro drink with boba. I got the small, he ordered the large. The drink is as I expected - sweet, creamy, and icy. The boba balls were soft and slightly sweet. We also ordered the roti buns that I had seen here on Yelp. We had the cream cheese flavor and to be honest, it was not quite my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, the bun is tasty - slightly sweet with that gooey cream cheese in the middle that gave the bun a little bit of sourness. The outside of the bun was crispy and buttery. Also, they warm the bun up when you order it. Overall, this is a great place for a boba drink that also serves gelato and other desserts. The inside is bright and clean, and the workers are sweet.

two cups of iced coffee on a table

Bought 2 same drinks and wasn't filled up to the top. I bought 2 large size drinks. See the picture below when these drinks are flipped. I love their drinks but management needs to check this. We pay the right amount and therefore, we need to get what we paid for.

Weird how your website says you guys close at "10pm" but I arrived exactly at 9:10pm and I also had called before hand to make sure, the cashier saw me standing outside the door walked away and said nothing like a "sorry we are closed" would have been respectful. The worst place to drive to and waste time.

I so want to give this shop more stars but 3 stars is even pushing it.. When I first entered the aroma of the roti buns being baked was just heavenly... I didn't even think I was in Salinas. As we ordered the guy was not helpful in explaining the rotiburger to my friend.. Cause quite frankly I was not confused myself. And then he even messed up the order by adding something in the order that was strictly said not to be put in... Good thing my friend was not allergic to it. My friend said there was just too many things going on with the flavors that he couldn't enjoy it... I wasn't privileged to take a bite.. So I'll take his word for it... The roti buns were absolutely wonderful.. Thank goodness. I had the plain ones.. Sometimes simplicity is the best.. It was just like the ones in the city. My taro with pearls was alright.. The taro was definitely powder based at the end I can taste/feel the granules and the pearls was a bit over cooked to my liking. Would I come again?!... Just for the buns hun....

    Milk tea (I think)

OVERALL: Kind of reminds me of the local Suju's in Fremont (where I'm from), as their local go to coffee in Salinas that's more concentrated in espresso complexity. CUBANITO: Their specialty! CARAMEL Macchiato: Made me sad that it wasn't authentic as milk should be first then the shots of espresso so there's two layers (that's why I secretly wanted this drink). Then a drizzle of caramel. Tastes like a caramel macchiato, nonetheless. ***overall, their coffee is good with a smooth flavor profile and no bitter undertones or after taste, equating to high quality beans*** SERVICE: They are so sweet, kind, and patient, willing to answer any and all questions. I ordered the tuna melt and he got the chicken Caesar salad. The tuna melt was honestly really good. The sourdough bread was toasted nicely and I loved that crispy layer of cheese on the outside because that is a special tray and my favorite part of any melt sandwich. The tuna salad itself was flavorful. It came with potatoes that unfortunately were probably the only miss for me. They seemed like they were not reheated all the way, so they had that slightly cold, rubbery texture. They also serve this little cucumber and tomato salad on the side that was absolutely delicious and honestly such a nice fresh side to my sandwich. My son wasn't too impressed with the Caesar salad because he said the dressing tasted watery, but other than that everything else he liked - the chicken was flavorful and nicely cooked, the salad was fresh and crunchy. Service and atmosphere were nice. Overall, I would definitely come back for lunch again. Breakfast is also great here, so I would recommend both.

I happened to overhear the owner David talking to the clerk about his newest menu item, Korean hot dogs. He proceeded to describe them as Mochi dogs. I thought "Well I like Mochi, and I like hot dogs". As David passed by I asked him where his restaurant was and he pointed out the window as it was just across the parking lot. I came out to the car and suggested to my husband we go try the Mochi Dogs and he thought that was a good idea. We came in and David recognized me from the bank. He is a very friendly guy, and very helpful with explaining the drinks menu as there are lots of choices. He also offered choices for the Korean Hot Dogs: All dog, or the dog with cheese and the breading can also include potatoes. We opted for all dog and plain breading. I ordered a drink with Boba, light ice with almond milk and Thai Tea flavoring. I had the option of really sweet or less so and I chose the latter. I think I might order the more sweeter option next time. There was about a 10 minute wait for the dogs to cook so I sipped my drink while we chatted. The hot dogs were hot (very) so you know they were freshly cooked. Nice and crunchy, served on a stick. Ample size and I would imagine with the cheese and potatoes added they would be very filling. The bill came to $29.00 with a tip added. I think the cost was reasonable for a unique type of fare. Two drinks, and two dogs.
