I couldn't be any happier after getting my hair done with Maddy B. I found Maddy's page on Instagram and drove 2 hours to the salon without ever having been here before. Now I will be back every time. What was most important to me was finding someone who can get the color you want without ruining the strength and quality of your hair. First of all, the location of this place is awesome! Ample parking, easy to get in and out of, just fab. Now, for the hair...I see Linh, she's amazing at her craft. I'm super particular about my highlights, having been in the industry I draw from a lot of experience, and she nails it every.single.time. She's quick too, so you're not going to be strapped to a salon chair for hours upon hours, thank god - I for one, have places to be. There has been one time where Linh and I had different visions for my hair, I left and tried it out for a week, couldn't live with it (the blonde was a touch too bright for me, I prefer a more rooty look), anyways...messaged her and let her know and she had me come right back in to pull my roots down a smidge - after she did this it was PERFECTION. It's hard to find a stylist that will acknowledge that their execution sometimes is different than what you, the client, had envisioned, and for a stylist to not only acknowledge that but take action to correct it, is a true professional gem. All of the salon staff presents themselves in a professional manner, they appear to be very much part of the same team, which is a great feeling to get walking into this kind of establishment. After she finished the process of the highlights/balayage- my hair was falling apart! 6 months later - I'm still suffering from hair loss, dry and damaged hair, breakage, hard time to style my hair which I usually don't have to.. etc.. From a fine hair to a complete disaster!!! Not to mention that she had to cut my hair way shorter than I ever planned of , because of thar. Danielle was supposed to send me details of products she recommended me to use BUT never did. I felt bad and tipped her $50 even tho I was very disappointed. I was so excited to try this hair salon. I made an appointment with Hannah for the first time ever being in there. She was fantastic and did my hair perfectly. Unfortunately, she ended up moving so she told me to go to Kaylee. I told Kaylee I have hot roots (she never reached out to Hannah for the formula) so she winged it ugh! I asked her to shadow so you don't see lines between the root and the highlights. She just gave me toner and charged me for shadowing. When it was time to finalize the bill, she showed me her pricing and then the tip screen. her tip screen read 20 percent, 25 percent and then 30 percent yikes!! I ended up paying almost $300 for brassy hair. I reached out to her and she told me to come back to the salon and she would redo it. I made the appointment but I felt uncomfortable going back to her. I told her I had the stomach flu and was unable to make my appointment. I felt uncomfortable going back to to her. I reached out to the owner, Heidi, to address the issue. Her manager got back to me and said Heidi will do your hair and to come into the salon. I also mentioned to the manager that I was willing to pay full price because it had been six weeks out. Heidi canceled the appointment and said she had the stomach flu. I canceled with Kaylee for the same reason! These girls are nothing but caddy and rude! And the owner is a complete itch. She listens well and knows what I want even when I don't. I am always happy when I leave and get compliments even when my hair color is three months old.
