Just got the BEST haircut and style from Irina! I absolutely love it! I honestly had sort of given up on my hair the last couple years. I knew I needed to cut off a good chunk and get blunt ends to try and get some volume. Irina was so careful and patient from the start, looked over the pictures I showed her, and discussed my hair and what works with it, and showed me how she'd give me the bangs I wanted before cutting. She constantly checked in with me throughout. No big cuts without making sure I was okay with the length that was going. The resulting blunt, shoulder length bob with side swept bangs was gorgeous by itself but then...we decided to see what it looked like curled and WOW!!! I didn't think my hair could look like this! I originally had my appointment with someone else, but she had an emergency and left me with the wonderful Tina Lopez! I had medium length hair that was an absolute mess with dead unhealthy horse-like hair at the bottom. My friend's trial of her home ombre went wrong and Tina helped me cut it off so a cute bob/lob length! She was so nice and we talked throughout the whole appointment. I was looking for a new place because the customer service was horrible at my old place and saw the amazing reviews and took a chance. I am thrilled that I did! I am a mom of three and needed to update my look for both personal and professional reasons. Grace listened to my needs and I placed myself in her capable hands. I needed some color in my hair to 1) hide the grays, 2) update the color in my hair, 3) needed low maintenance that I wasn't coming in every month for a touch up. I left feeling gorgeous and ready to take on the world. The owner was energetic, genuine, funny and professional. The salon was spacious, large, the other staff were smiling and happy. It gave off good vibes. There is this butterfly that is on the wall to your right as soon as you walk in! Perfect for a photo op (I'll do it the next time I go in). Parking is tough; it is in the same lot as the animal emergency hospital. Spaces are a bit tight. I stopped by here on friday 8/22/14 as a walk in and was very politely greeted and was able to be seen within the hour by Nina. I had really long hair and do to a trauma I had a temporary bald spot in the back of my head that I was very self-conscious about. I explained to her that I wanted to cut it short so I would haven't to keep putting my hair up in a hair tie in this heat because it would expose the spot in the back. She assured me that she could make my hair short and completely hide it and she did! I was so scared that cutting my hair short would make it more visible. She did a fantastic job. I only wish I could blow dry it everyday the way she did because I can never make it look like the pros do when they first cut it! lol. After contemplating for over a week about writing this review, I finally gave in. I'm not one to complain but having to look in the mirror every day and be reminded of the terrible service I received, pushed me to write this review. I called the salon to see if anyone had time to do my hair. I had driven by and realized there was a salon there. . I was told i could come in that day and was given an appointment with the owner. I had an idea (nothing unachievable) of what I wanted done. After showing her my sample photos and telling her I wanted a drastic change, she assured me it was very doable. Almost FOUR AND A HALF hours after i was seated, she showed me the finished result. My hair looked NOTHING like the photo and it looked as if I just had it washed and curled. Nobody has made any comments about my hair, including family, because it looks the same way it did when I entered the salon. I thought there was a difference and I was pleased at the time, but then realized it looked that way because she curled it. I tried to let it go(again, not one to complain) but after a few days, I reached out and let her know I was unhappy. She was immediately defensive about the service and made it seem as if my hair was the issue("your hair is damaged" "your hair can't lift" etc) . As an owner I would think she would make an attempt to make a paying customer happy. $185, not including tip, and FOUR AND A HALF hours completely wasted. read more

Jenafer is the best hairdresser ever! I've been going to Solutions for 5 years now and I couldn't be happier or have healthier hair! Before I went to see Jenafer my hair was a disaster! My hair was nappy, frizzy, over colored, damaged, dry, split ends and all. Then Jenafer taught me about all the chemicals, sulfites and bad product I was using on my hair. I started reading the labels of the shampoos/conditioners I used and couldn't believe it. Products I was taught were good and top of the line, whether it was the TV advertisements or what my family taught me growing up, turned out to be my undoing. My entire life I settled for nappy, frizzy and unmanageable hair, I thought this was just the way I was made and there was no fixing it.
