Our first breakfast stop in Vegas this weekend was Toasted Gastro Brunch, and it was BOMB! First off, the atmosphere was so much fun. They were playing classic oldies like The Temptations and "My Girl," and it just created such a fun, upbeat environment to have brunch in. Our server Jonathan, who goes by Johnny, was AWESOME. He took such great care of us, gave us great recommendations, and really went above and beyond. I ordered the Red Monster Bloody Mary and asked for the shrimp on the side. I hadn't mentioned that I was allergic, so when it came out with the shrimp in the drink, I just had my husband take it. Johnny realized what happened and brought me a completely new drink anyway. He absolutely did not have to do that, and I really appreciated that extra touch of service. The food was SO good. My husband and I shared the ABC Hash--avocado, pork belly, cheddar, potatoes, and two sunny-side-up eggs--and it was delicious. The pork belly had great flavor and was nice and crispy. My son had the two-egg, bacon, and fruit plate, and can I just say THANK YOU for serving strawberries and pineapple instead of the sad melon medley you get at so many places? My son LOVES strawberries, so he was happy, and my husband and I happily took care of the pineapple. We also added a chocolate chip pancake for him, because of course we did. The Red Monster Bloody Mary was really good and definitely on the strong side! My husband said the shrimp was delicious too. They also let us try the Green Monster mix on its own, which is tomatillo-based, and that was really good too. I was so torn between the two, but ultimately went with the classic red and was happy with my choice. All around, FIVE STARS. The ambiance is loud and vibrant! They cater to special diets and the menu indicates Vegetarian, Spicy & Gluten Free options. Nicole, our server, gave us great recommendations for our brunch. She was very hospitable and took great care of us despite all the other tables she had to attend to! My Denver-ish Scramble was abundant and hearty! The quality of the vegetables was fresh & colorful! My love ordered a Benny and WOW! There are no words! Definitely worth trying! The only recommendation I would make is to have ketchup and jelly available on the tables so the servers don't have to take away from their time with their guests. Lots of large parties of 8 seated. We went here for Mother's Day brunch which is probably the hardest day to work as a server. What made this place better than other brunch places is their Bloody Mary - I haven't had one that thick in a while. And the bacon is came with is perfect thickness. My wife got the green Bloody Mary and I actually liked that one more. It's a really unique take on a Bloody Mary be sure to try it. Got the Lobster Benny, which is an elevated eggs Benedict that replaces the Canadian bacon with lobster and the English muffin with brioche toast. The restaurant did not skimp out on the lobster portions, which was great. Brioche did get soggy towards the end, and the dish could have had slightly more hollandaise sauce, but overall a satisfying dish. The side of fried potato balls (their version of tater tots) was perfectly crisp and I now prefer this to hash browns. Ambience feels casual, and the servers are nice. We also ordered stuffed French toast it came with drizzle of caramel it was a bit too sweet for me but it had a very similiar taste to apple pie. I also had a Bloody Mary it honestly wasn't the best- the presentation was great but taste 2/5. It is like a super cute diner vibe in here but overall I wouldn't come back. I will say their mimosa flight flavor options were decent. I got the chilaquiles and she said it was really spicy and I asked if they could put the sauce on the side and she said they couldn't but that she would make sure they only put a little bit of sauce on and when I got it, it was swimming in the sauce. It was indeed very spicy. It was good but too spicy and people clearly can't listen to instructions or give good service. I loved Toasted Gastrobrunch so much that I went TWICE in one week! And both visits were absolutely delicious! The first time, I had the Green Eggs, and they were SO good! Perfectly seasoned, full of delicious vegetables, fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. On my second visit, I tried the Lobster Scramble, and WOW! There were huge pieces of lobster throughout - not just a few tiny pieces hidden in the eggs - and everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was seriously delicious! And both times, I ordered the non-alcoholic version of the Lavender Lady. It was cool, refreshing, beautifully flavored, and perfectly sweetened. Definitely one of those drinks I could happily order every single time I visit. The service made the experience even better. Our server, Mentor, was incredibly attentive, warm, and kind. When he found out we were celebrating my birthday, he even surprised us with an order of their churros with sweet cream dip, which were DELICIOUS and such a thoughtful touch! Great food, great service, and such a welcoming experience both times. The fact that I came back again within the same week probably says it best! The last three times we went, after being seated it took about 20 minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order. After we finally received our drinks, we ordered right away, but then waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. Thankfully we weren't in a rush and had time to wait, but it was still pretty frustrating. What made it more confusing was that a table seated after us received their food before we did, which left us with some questions about order flow and kitchen timing. That said, the quality of the food and the overall vibe of the place keep us coming back. When the dishes arrive, they're absolutely worth it. We joined the waitlist from the parking lot and were seated within two minutes. The restaurant was very crowded. Our waiter greeted us right away and was very friendly. My spouse had the bottomless mimosas which they kept coming. I had coffee which was also bottomless. For my meal I had the eggs purgatory. Basically it is a sourdough bowl filled with mushrooms, a spicy sauce, and egg. It was out of this world and got easier to eat as the bread softened. My spouse had the steak and eggs. So when my kids and I were ready for lunch, and I saw there was another Toasted Gastrobrunch location near us on Flamingo Rd., I decided to give this other location a try too. The whole experience was a pleasant surprise, and I ended up liking this location even more! The service at the Flamingo Toasted Gastrobrunch was very prompt and welcoming. Our server really went out of his way to find a nice outdoor spot for us and make us feel comfortable. Also, this place is definitely very kid- and family-friendly! There were plenty of high chairs and the restaurant was very spacious with two outdoor sections. The breakfast sammie I got was a really flavorful sandwich compared to other breakfast sandwiches I've gotten. I wasn't a fan of the potato puffs that came with it though and definitely preferred the fries. My kids shared a kids breakfast plate and sliders which they both enjoyed.
