Huevos Rancheros

Saw this place on Yelp with a bunch of reviews and passed it so many times so had to check it out with all the good review-it didn't disappoint. Overall, it's a nice spacious restaurant with a warm modern lighting to it. Came for brunch and I wanted to order and try everything but ended up getting the huevos rancheros (definitely going to have to come back for the other stuff). We placed our order and I think they forgot to submit our order. They apologized and offered us complimentary pastries and coffee which was really nice of them but we declined. Service was excellent. I don't think we even waited that long to be honest haha. Food itself was so so good. Good portions and good price. Can't wait to come back and try it again!

Another hidden gem in our valley. I have seen this place many times and friends recently wanted to dine here for lunch so we did. Location is off West Flamingo and plenty of parking. The food was so good in every way and I really want to bring my husband here to try it out. Service was outstanding and we really enjoyed our server. The vibe is relaxing with a nice room for dining, a great bar and outdoor patio dining. Big windows let in a lot of natural light which makes the experience more enjoyable. The menu is so diverse and it aims to please all palates. Family friendly so everyone is welcome I went for the birriadillas lunch and these tacos were served hot and juicy with the cheese oozing out. An absolute perfect lunch for me. My friends dined on the Cobb Salad and the JW French Dip. No one walked away hungry. They say they serve elevated comfort food and that works for me.

I can honestly say this was such a special experience at La Madre. We took my niece here for her birthday brunch, and everything about it was absolutely fabulous. She ordered the silver dollar pancakes and was beyond excited when they brought them out decorated with a candle while we sang to her. Our server was incredibly kind and quick. I know most people come for the food, but if there are fresh bakery items involved, I'm always going for the bread! La Madre did not disappoint. The banana walnut bread was so good I had to order some to go. I loved it. Definitely a must-try! Also, the cinnamon roll latte is something you don't want to miss. The space itself is great too, there's plenty of seating whether you want a bright, well-lit spot or something a little more cozy and dim. I already can't wait to come back!

Many breakfasts later, I have finally decided to write a review. I have tried most of the menu over the years, but the chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros are my personal favorites. I appreciate Huevos Rancheros being made using a crispy tostada shell as opposed to corn tortillas. The corn tortillas never stand up well to the salsa sauce that is poured on the top of this dish. Flour tortillas is an even worst option. I remember the first time I tried this restaurant when it was called Sunny Side Up. I could tell back then that this place was going to be a success. This restaurant is a perfect place to meet up with friends. The staff is excellent. Fast friendly service with a smile. The recent expansion remodel is beautiful. The gold trim around the tables is unique and I don't think that I have seen that anywhere else. I just noticed recently that the place is loaded with televisions. The World Cup game was being televised on almost every one. I love how they put the pastry display when you enter the restaurant. It's hard to resist that! They are mindful when you mention that you have a dairy allergy. I definitely appreciate that! All the greatness that makes La Madre is the reason why this is one of my top ten favorite breakfast spots. I do need to try their dinner menu at some point in the future.

Visited La Madre Canyon Grill and really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. The layout of the restaurant brings in so much natural light through the windows, which makes the space feel warm, open, and relaxing. It's the kind of place where you actually want to sit and enjoy your meal instead of rushing out. I went in for their pancakes and they absolutely satisfied my sweet tooth, fluffy, comforting, and exactly what I was craving. Even their oatmeal dish surprised me in the best way. It was delicious, hearty, and felt like a thoughtful option if you want something cozy but lighter. Between the natural lighting, welcoming atmosphere, and comforting food, it feels like a great spot whether you're starting your morning or just slowing down for a meal. Definitely a place I'd return to.

Grilled chicken on ciabatta

The restaurant is a nice size and has plenty of tables. Our servers were nice and attentive. All our food was delicious and came out as ordered. I prefer the option of hash-browns vs the potatoes they have, but they were good. The pancakes were fluffy. My chicken ciabatta sandwich was delicious with the peppers and the chicken was cooked perfectly. Would def order again

Very good food. When I walked in my first impression was how nice this place looks. It looks like a fancy place from a nice casino. The service was friendly and we had a great time. The large booths are also a very nice touch. My chicken and waffle filled me up and the apple sausage tasted very good as well. I hope to come back soon. This is a great addition to this side of town.

Avocado toast with smoked salmon delicious!

Beautiful restaurant with high ceilings and lots of natural light. The entire staff was wonderful, professional, and helpful. I had the avocado toast with smoked salmon, and it was absolutely delicious.. I plan to go back to happy hour and order tons of food.. I will definitely be back.

Very enjoyable place with great ambiance. Took advantage of happy hour and tried various items. Liked the all except the overly spiced tacos. Drinks excellent. Service was good too.

La Madre's Staff are the very BEST , in my Nearly 31 years living in Vegas. Alex is one of the finest Chefs I've met since visiting France & Spain! Breakfast , Lunch , Dinner and Daily Happy Hour 3-6 ! I AM overwhelmingly Happy with the REMODEL, well worth the wait!! I have been a Satisfied Customer Bringing my Family and Visitors here for since 2021. Great Job! Happy Holidays Sincerely , Christine Marie

I prefer breakfast over dinner. We came for dinner back in June and did not have a good experience, the food was not comparable to our dinner visit prior. It was before the remodel, so maybe something to do with that. Fast forward to this weekend, I decided to give dinner another go since it was a friends birthday choice. The remodel is beautiful! The bar area off to the side is a nice addition, however on a busy night, the bar seats are literally on top of each other. There needs so be some space between people, makes it uncomfortable. Moved to a table for dinner and chose the prefix menu. Last time we visited, we had the steak and it was not memorable, so decided to give it another shot. Our server, I don't remember her name, but she was a little too overwhelming for me and my friend, her personally seemed way over the top. I ordered the steak and asked for no pink. Well when my dish came, my steak was pretty much rare. Took a bit for her to come back and have it sent back. Waited another 20 minutes for it to come back and my friends were already done eating. I wasn't offered any type of reimbursement or even a glass of wine to apologize. That threw me off the rest of the dinner. I would return again for breakfast, but the dinner is off my list going forward.

Avocado toast and ribeye tacos

One of my absolute favorite brunch spots. My mom and I needed a much needed day out and decided on a weekday brunch. We came in on a Friday early afternoon for some food and mimosas. I love that la madre has bottomless even on weekdays, one of the very few in Vegas. But that's not the best part. The food is always to die for. It's in my top rotations for brunch and it's super close to my house. On our most recent visit my mom and I split the avocado toast and the ribeye tacos. Of course had to add in a fresh chocolate croissant for dessert. The servers are all so great and my mimosas were always refilled right on time. I adore this place. And the new remodel is beautiful.

The Service was great . I was with a friend who took over 20 minutes explaining exactly how she wanted her French toast and the server, chef, and Manager were all super patient with her. Not me though LOL My chiliquiles were just ok.. a little too soggy for me though.

Ask the Community - La Madre Canyon Grill

Is happy hour in entire restaurant?

Is the Dinner Menu available during brunch hours? Perhaps the Starters?

Do they have bottomless mimosas everyday? If so, how much is it?

Yes! $20 bottomless and everything is delicious.

Are dogs allowed?

The answer is yes, they allow dogs. With the caveat, as long as they are well behaved. They have an outdoor patio as well that would allow for dogs, but I think that is under renovation/construction at the moment.

Do you have to have a reservation?

No.

From the moment we sat down, the whole place felt like a vibe -- great ambience, excellent service, delicious food, and yummy cocktails made by Dave the bartender. I wish I remembered the name of our server because she was also a gem, so friendly and engaging -- but we're going to blame that on the cocktails. We ordered the deviled eggs, wings, short rib, mac and cheese, and Brussels sprouts with parmesan cheese. Everything was outstanding. Not one miss. And the reason there are no photos of the food? By the time we thought to take pictures, we had already eaten everything. That should tell you all you need to know. We were literally smiling from ear to ear the entire time, and people kept coming over to our table because the energy was that good. The Felix has officially made our list. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a fun atmosphere -- we will definitely be back!

The entry is super cute, grand princess chair to welcome you sparks your curiosity about what else the ambiance has to offer. You walk in and it's for sure a vibe. High boy tables surrounding a wrap around bar and super cute small booths line the walls. There was also a back room which I believe led to an outdoor area but we didn't really explore that far. Why only a one visit spot? Happy hour menu is very limited, service was not awesome & food was edible. Most of the menu was pretty standard amongst the lounge & bars around, so given the awesome ambiance I was expecting dishes that aligned but it was pretty standard. Fries, skewers, chip/dip, salad, sandwiches, wings, etc. I will say the Brussels sprouts were delicious! Specialty cocktails - s'mores espresso martini VERY chocolatey, sugar tasting. I couldn't even finish it. LOVED the watermelon martini tho! Definitely try. So refreshing & yummy! Service- he was very nice just not very attentive. He forgot things, we had to ask multiple times for items and took a long time to bring things. I did realize he had a lot of tables so he was busy, maybe they were short staffed!???! It was a Friday night during prime dinner time so I would have thought they would have better prepared. When leaving the hostess made the exit a bit uncomfortable, she just stared at us. We had to break the awkwardness by saying "thank you bye". She just kept staring at us and back at her iPad or computer not sure what!?? It wasn't a horrible visit but definitely not an incredible one either. Too bad too bc the place is super cute!

The trout is very eye catching. No bones. Amazing! Very easy to eat for a whole fish. A+! My only dislike was the rough rap with vulgar lyrics being played when enjoying such creative and levelled-up cuisine with friends and familly. Luckily, we had no younger members dining. (Songs had vulgarities spoken, sexual aspects and lot of "N" words) Later in the evening, the restaurant transforms into more of a bar setting. This after dinner time seems more appropriate for this type of rap music to chill and relax.
