Those Ribeye tacos were deelllliiicccciooouuuussss! After shopping at the Farmer's market in Downtown Summerlin on Saturday morning, my husband and I stopped by La Madre Canyon Grill for breakfast. It's located right off of the 215/Flamingo exit in a large shopping plaza. The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restaurant was inside! There was already a lot of customers inside for brunch and luckily there was a table available for two! When we sat down, menus were provided immediately as well as waters! I did order a sprite. Looking over their breakfast menu, there are so many good options, but, when I saw that the restaurant had Ribeye Tacos, I had to get them! My husband got the chilaquiles, his first time trying dish! As we waited, a team member had filled my sprite multiple times! The service was fantastic! We didn't wait too long for the order, about 20 minutes. I was expecting it to take a little bit longer since I didn't order a breakfast item, and ordered more off of their lunch menu around 10:30 A.M. The Ribeye tacos were loaded with guacamole. There was a side salad too that was pretty good! The Ribeye meat was packed with flavor. I ended up eating only two of the tacos and saving the last one for left overs! My husband enjoyed the chilaquiles. The food was great, but the service was the highlight at this restaurant. Several team members stopped by to refill drinks and ask how the food was. I really enjoyed eating here! I'll have to come back on Tuesday though. There is a Taco Tuesday special! read more

I'll start by saying I will give them a second chance. I can imagine other dishes being way better. Order: Breakfast Burrito The good: GREAT service. Online ordering on my phone was a breeze. Don't have to pay inflated prices on DoorDash or Uber. They called me when my order was ready. Guy up front was friendly and fast. The bad: the burrito. Flavors were decent but too dry. Too much potato. Had to double check the menu to see if there was chorizo in it because I didn't taste it at all. Tortilla was very mediocre. I'm a salsa verde kinda guy and it was subpar. Red salsa and the side of potatoes were decent. And I realize a good breakfast burrito for under $15 is hard to find these days, but $18 for this below average burrito is criminal. read more

We just tried this new Mexican restaurant and had such a great experience! We were a party of eight and they were able to seat us right away, which was a huge plus. I ordered the breakfast burrito and churro waffle, and both were FANTASTIC! Seriously, I would order both again. I also tried a caramel macchiato and a vanilla latte with almond milk. The vanilla latte was okay, but honestly, I'd skip the lattes and stick with the food because the food was definitely the star! Prices were reasonable, service was great, and the restaurant itself is super clean, modern, and really nice inside. Even the manager came over to check on us and make sure everything was going well, which I really appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience and I'd definitely come back. So happy to have stumbled on this hidden gem tucked away in the Target parking lot! I stopped in here for lunch with some friends one afternoon. We grabbed a reservation that morning, but it really wasn't needed. The ambiance here is beautiful - super clean, and tastefully decorated. I ordered the Devil Shrimp tacos, which were excellent. They could have used one more element besides the shrimp and red onion - I needed some extra crunch from a slaw or something. It also came with a side salad, which I enjoyed. Our server was a real high point for me - she was so attentive and friendly. I wish I would have caught her name to shout her out! Overall, this was a great experience and I can't wait to come back. Saw this place on Yelp with a bunch of reviews and passed it so many times so had to check it out with all the good review-it didn't disappoint. Overall, it's a nice spacious restaurant with a warm modern lighting to it. Came for brunch and I wanted to order and try everything but ended up getting the huevos rancheros (definitely going to have to come back for the other stuff). We placed our order and I think they forgot to submit our order. They apologized and offered us complimentary pastries and coffee which was really nice of them but we declined. Service was excellent. Another hidden gem in our valley. I have seen this place many times and friends recently wanted to dine here for lunch so we did. Location is off West Flamingo and plenty of parking. The food was so good in every way and I really want to bring my husband here to try it out. Service was outstanding and we really enjoyed our server. The vibe is relaxing with a nice room for dining, a great bar and outdoor patio dining. Big windows let in a lot of natural light which makes the experience more enjoyable. The menu is so diverse and it aims to please all palates. Family friendly so everyone is welcome I went for the birriadillas lunch and these tacos were served hot and juicy with the cheese oozing out. An absolute perfect lunch for me. I can honestly say this was such a special experience at La Madre. We took my niece here for her birthday brunch, and everything about it was absolutely fabulous. She ordered the silver dollar pancakes and was beyond excited when they brought them out decorated with a candle while we sang to her. Our server was incredibly kind and quick. I know most people come for the food, but if there are fresh bakery items involved, I'm always going for the bread! La Madre did not disappoint. The banana walnut bread was so good I had to order some to go. I loved it. Definitely a must-try! Also, the cinnamon roll latte is something you don't want to miss. Visited La Madre Canyon Grill and really enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. The layout of the restaurant brings in so much natural light through the windows, which makes the space feel warm, open, and relaxing. It's the kind of place where you actually want to sit and enjoy your meal instead of rushing out. I went in for their pancakes and they absolutely satisfied my sweet tooth, fluffy, comforting, and exactly what I was craving. Even their oatmeal dish surprised me in the best way. It was delicious, hearty, and felt like a thoughtful option if you want something cozy but lighter. The restaurant is a nice size and has plenty of tables. Our servers were nice and attentive. All our food was delicious and came out as ordered. I prefer the option of hash-browns vs the potatoes they have, but they were good. The pancakes were fluffy. Very good food. When I walked in my first impression was how nice this place looks. It looks like a fancy place from a nice casino. The service was friendly and we had a great time. The large booths are also a very nice touch. My chicken and waffle filled me up and the apple sausage tasted very good as well. I hope to come back soon. I prefer breakfast over dinner. We came for dinner back in June and did not have a good experience, the food was not comparable to our dinner visit prior. It was before the remodel, so maybe something to do with that. Fast forward to this weekend, I decided to give dinner another go since it was a friends birthday choice. The remodel is beautiful! The bar area off to the side is a nice addition, however on a busy night, the bar seats are literally on top of each other. There needs so be some space between people, makes it uncomfortable. Moved to a table for dinner and chose the prefix menu. Last time we visited, we had the steak and it was not memorable, so decided to give it another shot. Our server, I don't remember her name, but she was a little too overwhelming for me and my friend, her personally seemed way over the top. I ordered the steak and asked for no pink. Well when my dish came, my steak was pretty much rare. Took a bit for her to come back and have it sent back. Waited another 20 minutes for it to come back and my friends were already done eating. I wasn't offered any type of reimbursement or even a glass of wine to apologize. That threw me off the rest of the dinner. Many breakfasts later, I have finally decided to write a review. I have tried most of the menu over the years, but the chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros are my personal favorites. I appreciate Huevos Rancheros being made using a crispy tostada shell as opposed to corn tortillas. The corn tortillas never stand up well to the salsa sauce that is poured on the top of this dish. Flour tortillas is an even worst option. I remember the first time I tried this restaurant when it was called Sunny Side Up. I could tell back then that this place was going to be a success. This restaurant is a perfect place to meet up with friends. The staff is excellent. Fast friendly service with a smile. The recent expansion remodel is beautiful. The gold trim around the tables is unique and I don't think that I have seen that anywhere else. I just noticed recently that the place is loaded with televisions. The World Cup game was being televised on almost every one. I love how they put the pastry display when you enter the restaurant. It's hard to resist that! They are mindful when you mention that you have a dairy allergy. I definitely appreciate that! All the greatness that makes La Madre is the reason why this is one of my top ten favorite breakfast spots. I do need to try their dinner menu at some point in the future. read more

One of my absolute favorite brunch spots. My mom and I needed a much needed day out and decided on a weekday brunch. We came in on a Friday early afternoon for some food and mimosas. I love that la madre has bottomless even on weekdays, one of the very few in Vegas. But that's not the best part. The food is always to die for. It's in my top rotations for brunch and it's super close to my house. On our most recent visit my mom and I split the avocado toast and the ribeye tacos. Of course had to add in a fresh chocolate croissant for dessert. The servers are all so great and my mimosas were always refilled right on time. I adore this place. Stumbled upon this place for brunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The interior has been tastefully remodeled and it's pretty spacious. Service was attentive. The food was some of the best breakfast I've had in town. I enjoyed the chorizo eggs Benedict and appreciated that it wasn't drenched in hollandaise. My husband had the smoked salmon platter, which was a pretty healthy alternative. Their menu honestly has something for everybody! Everything about this place feels elevated in a great way. From the moment you walk in, the hostess is there and they are friendly. The decor here is beautiful. There's a full wrap around bar with tv's and there's plenty of tables and half booth/half chair tables. There's a lot of windows that let in natural light and the woodsy modern decor is beautiful. On a Saturday morning, it was medium busy, plenty of parties at tables. Our server Bravo was excellent! He was there right away and let us know waters were coming and if he could get us anything else. Coffee was a must on this morning and throughout the entire service, he was always there to fill the cup, we never had to ask. He was very attentive! (Party of 2) We ordered an Al Pastor breakfast and mentioned we were sharing it. The server was really thoughtful and had the order split in two separate bowls for us. This was great - so my picture is showing my half of the Al Pastor breakfast. It's a good sized portion if all in one bowl. The flavor of this breakfast was so good! The pineapple always brings a great flavor to Al Pastor. I would definitely get this again! I got the eggs over easy, but next time I'm going to try it sunny side up because the over easy wasn't that runny. Sunny side will get a nice runny egg. This dish is unique and a must try! We also had the Banana Pudding Pancakes. Normally this comes with three and we asked if we could do a short stack version and the server said yes - so my picture shows two pancakes. The pudding part isn't overly sweet which is great. We got the caramel sauce on the side so that we could control how much "sweet" to pour on it as well. We did a light drizzle. The taste of the pancakes was really good. This could just be a personal opinion, but the pancakes here are a little denser than other places where it's lighter, fluffier. Just an FYI. All in all - this was a great experience. I will definitely be back to try their dinner which includes half of steaks all the time - what!??! And, a price fixe menu that looks great! read more

I keep returning to this unexpected gem. Dinner here is like the greatest, but it seems the morning crowds at breakfast are unaware of how great their food can be in the evening as well. So until the world catches on, I continue to enjoy evening meals here where there are very few other patrons. On our most recent visit, we are meeting some friends here whom have never been here themselves. We want to introduce as many as we can to this hidden dinner gem. The restaurant is so large and comfortable that it is a great space to engage with our good friends over a good meal. TV over the small bar, well lit, spaced out, lots of parking. This place could be intimate for two or good for a big group. You could look nice or come in casual, it is a restaurant that accommodates "come how you are." They are taking over additional space next door and it looks like they are going to expand "the bar" idea for their restaurant. I am eager to know and patron myself when complete. Our server George was spot on with this hospitality and customer service. Not being busy in the restaurant, he took exceptional care of the patrons he did have. My husband had the salisbury steak that was presented on a old school tin lunch like tray, with special slots for his slice of watermelon, macaroni and cheese, kimchi Brussel sprouts and two chocolate chip cookies (super cute and yummy looking). I went with the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos, as I have consumed before because I am a pescatarian, but are flavorful and on point. I have never been disappointed here. A girlfriend and I have already made plans to eat here after we go walking next week. One day the word will get out about La Madre's great quality dinner menu. We were pleasantly surprised with their excellent happy hour which happens daily from 3-6 pm and throughout the restaurant. Beautiful spacious ambiance and bright space. Everything was delicious! Lots of options, our favorites were beef sliders, nachoquiles, buffalo cauliflower and truffle Parmesan fries. For cocktails buffalo trace old fashioned was my husband's favorite. Their house wine was $5 and they had a nice willamette valley Pinot noir, sonoma Chardonnay and sav blanc. For dessert, I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie pie! What a fun little find! I love a delicious off-strip restaurant. Spots like these are not overwhelming and hit the spot just right. No frills just quality :) Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was nice and chill. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the day. I ordered the Ribeye steak that came sitting on top of a thin layer of yummy flavorful mashed potatoes and red wine sauce. I had a perfectly roasted tender and seasoned side of asparagus which paired great! They brought out fresh homemade crispy tortilla chips with a side of salsa. This was our first time here for brunch and the overall experience was wonderful. The background music volume was just right so you can carry a normal conversation. Great happy hour excellent service and choices. If you're a light eater, it's perfect for dinner. It took the place of a breakfast restaurant that struggled with occupancy. They had beautiful food, but it was expensive and they were not very flexible with their menu. This lunch and dinner place seems to be extremely service oriented. Please give it a try. I saw the Huckleberry Pancakes on Yelp and I had to try them .I really appreciate my server "V" who described them perfectly. V, said they were sweet and tart with the Huckleberry sauce and syrup.
