This was my 3rd and I think the last visit. I ordered the chicken uninhibited salad which is really just a chicken Caesar. The dish came out with a very small piece of grilled chicken breast and the romaine was swimming in dressing. There was no Parmesan cheese. I had to ask for the croutons that were supposed to be on it. For $23, it was a disappointment. When the check came, I was surprised by the $71 total for lunch for my husband and I. Neither of us got any drinks. There was already a 20% gratuity added as well. Our waitress, although nice, was either brand new or just struggling and really didn't deserve a tip that large. I had a horrible experience they added the tip u. The check without my knowledge until the end. The martini sucks for $19 for one shot unbelievable no good service and I couldn't adjust the tip cause I really didn't get good service. I worked in restaurants you never charge the gratuity on the the check with anyone acknowledgement. I can understand 5 or more but on 2 people is ludicrous that mean I have no option of leaving a lower tip if I felt I did t get great service . I give this restaurant one star the server told me at the end this is not room service where they add it on the check. Giving this place 5 stars for a few reasons- They allowed me to book a large reservation and then modify it to the group being smaller than intended. Service was great, answered all of our questions and was very nice! Food was amazing - Oxtail & grits were very seasoned and good. First time I ever had something like this and will definitely get it again. The sweet chick was indeed sweet, maybe a little too sweet for me. Had a fun girls brunch a few weeks back at Honey Uninhibited! It was nice to have a bit of a different brunch menu vibe that classic American style options--these were definitely southern inspired. I ordered the regular eggs benedict with a side of cheese grits and, baby, that side of grits was HUGE! Definitely got my money's worth. I'm taking off one star only because I felt the size of the mimosas were small and the vegetarian options were pretty limited. And you will too once you start eating ! Where to begin I had the bbq chicken deviled eggs I'm a huge deviled egg fan and honestly I was hesitant on trying this one but it pleasantly surprised me ! The bbq chickens sweetness on the deviled egg was quite a surprise to me how it somehow worked with the deviled egg , if I do come back it's one of the first things I would get for sure ! The Pros: The food and drinks were very good and our server was great. Friendly and she seemed to actually enjoy her job. The Cons: We were 4 friends who hadn't seen in each other in a while and were meeting to catch up. Having a DJ during brunch meant we basically had to yell to hear each other. Not exactly a pleasant eating experience. Our reservation was at 11:30. We were basically done around 1:00 but were finishing our drinks and chatting. At 1:05 what I'm assuming was a manager came to our table and informed us they schedule reservations for every 2 hours and there were people outside waiting so we needed to vacate our table. These two items are the only items that we have a tiny bit of negative feedback (not nearly enough to even take away a half a star). The oxtail was TENDER and FLAVORFUL ... the shrimp SEASONED and COOKED WELL!! However, the grits, in our opinion, were not creamy or as cheesy as they could be (a bit thick). Onto the Seafood omelets... Beautifully cooked shrimp AGAIN plenty of crab AGAIN!! The place was beautiful, and the live music was a nice touch. I personally found the food to be just okay. The wait staff received an automatic 20% gratuity, so I am thinking that contributed to the slow service. Our water came to our table a total of three times and we'd been sitting for about 15 minutes before being approached at all. Afterward, it was tough to flag the waiter down again and as the staff kind of took a team approach to serving, it was hard to really get anyone's attention. Now let me first tell you... my friend group is a tough group to impress so I was very nervous on making sure a good impression was made on them. From the moment I walked in and waited on my friends the bartender Brian welcomed me, and made the best drink recommendation that I am now ADDICTED TO!!!! He was super friendly and made the best drink for me that I will be returning for!! Brian instantly made me his regular because I will be back to see him !!!! Once my friends arrived our server Kristen took over and let me tell you... KRISTEN DELIVERED! As if BRIAN HAD NOT ALREADY DELIVERED! Brian had already set the bar and Kristen ran with it !!!! Kristen did amazing... her personality was amazing, her service was amazing... I literally felt as if I was talking to my own friends when dealing with Brian and Kristen!
