Recently discovered HoneyGrow and their amazing stir fry noodles. Great spot for quick lunch. Inside there is plenty of seating and there are some tables outside as well. You can order ahead and pick up on their website/app or order in person using their kiosks. I ordered the garlic butter chicken noodle stir fry and made a few modifications. I added carrots and decreased the garlic butter sauce. The bowl was super flavorful and it has a crunchy spicy garlic topping that gave it a good kick!

Honeygrow, a chain restaurant, is still quite new here in West Springfield. I really liked my first experience here this week and will definitely be back. I was skeptical when I entered because it was lunchtime and only one other customer was present. But within a few moments a couple dozen people were there and the place was hopping. The restaurant space is bright, airy and cheery though the music might be a bit loud. The best aspect of Honeygrow, I think, is that you can build your own salad or stir-fry, using one of the several e-kiosks. They do also have some standard stir-fry and salad dishes, but your best bet is to still build your own, because you get only what you like. Honeygrow also has desserts. I had a build your own cold noodle salad with chicken and some other toppings, including garbanzo beans and candied pecans. I loved this fresh salad, though not the garbanzo beans and pecans so much. The garbanzo beans were toasted and sweetened, not what I expected, nor what the picture of them on the kiosk suggests. The candied pecans were way too sweet and tasted a bit like toffee. Other than the garbanzo beans and pecans, I would rate Honeygrow as five stars. Though, one other thing I was slightly iffy about was that when placing your order at the kiosk, you do not get a receipt or a text confirming your order. The kiosk informs you that you will get a text only when your order is ready. That in the end was not a problem at all because when my order was ready, not only did I receive a text, a staffer brought my order out to my table. I liked too that another staffer came and picked up my dirty dishes, though Honeygrow is set up for you to bus your own table. Next time I will try a build your own stir-fry.

Greek salad was loaded with fresh and fabulous ingredients!! The MYO kids stir fry was a huge hit with our kids. The service staff went above and beyond. Carolina came and checked on us outside and made sure the kids were enjoying their meal. We will definitely be repeat customers!!

Jason did his thang! I appreciate the efficient service ! food was good ! Will be coming back :)

My spud that did come was delicious, toasted, and full of flavor. The sandwich was the perfect blend of spicy and sweet with the crunch of the chips on it. McAlister's recently upped their combo price... but it is still worth it for the quality of food you receive. I just wish the service was better this time. Nice ambiance as this location is new and has outdoor seating.

My boyfriend had introduced me to a McAlister's in Indiana, so when I'd heard we were getting one right here in Burke (yes, I'm aware of the GMU one - I hate the Braddock road traffic light, what can I say), I swung by. This place is always hoppin' but they work that line quickly. I've been here - like, what - once a week since they opened earlier this year? I think my ordered was messed up once? (if you could hear my voice you'd understand why - no one can hear me... darn these vocal chords). So that's like a RECORD - even Chick-Fil-A has messed it up more than McAllies (and that's sayin' a lot - Chick is ALWAYS on the ball). Want my recs - current feeling the Turkey BLT. Don't sleep on the French Dip sammie (their most popular). I don't like brownies, but their brookies have me in a CHOKE HOLD.

Period…read more I've been seeing this place all over social media, so when I found myself in the area, I had to see what the hype was about. First off, parking is easy. It's in a shopping center, so nothing stressful there, and the restaurant itself is easy to spot. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was how clean, polished, and classy everything looked. Even though it was busy, it didn't feel chaotic. The staff immediately greeted me and asked if it was my first time which I appreciated. They didn't just rush me through the line; they actually took time to explain the menu, how the bowls are built, and offered samples. That alone made the experience feel welcoming and intentional. Now let's get into the FOOD. Everything looked fresh. They have about four rice options (which is already a win), and I went with the pineapple coconut rice. For my protein, I chose grilled chicken, but they also offer shrimp, salmon, and even a mushroom option for vegetarians and honestly, the mushrooms looked so good I almost switched. For my added sides, I kept it simple because I really wanted to taste everything. Collard greens and sweet potatoes. But they also had plantains, and okra....real deal soul food options. Then you get into the fresh toppings. Slaws, carrots, pickled veggies. I kept it light. I finished my bowl with collard green pesto (which intrigued me, and I'm glad I tried it) and added an étouffée sauce over my rice... and listen!!!!! That combo? Chef's kiss. I grabbed a tropical punch juice, and just like everything else, it tasted fresh and well-made. Let me say this clearly: the food is a 10/10. If you're someone who will give Chipotle chance after chance, then you absolutely owe it to yourself to try Spice Black. 10/10. Worth your money. Worth the hype. Worth the experience.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with vibrant colors and very clean. The service is friendly and welcoming. The food was okay. Not bad and just good in my opinion. Its not rave worthy but its still good. I would come back and try other options. This is still a good healthier option oppose to the many of terrible choices we have to choose from, this beats most unhealthy fast foods restaurants. For that reason I would return to try other food options. If you like chickpeas then this is your meal, Im not so it threw off the salad to me. I would have preferred chicken. Honestly, everything came together nicely as one salad, nothing was over powering. I'm just not a fan of chickpeas. They do have an option for shrimp but dont eat bottom feeders so that wasn't an option for me. My tastebuds are much different from yours so I would still give it a try. You might like it a little more than me. Its still a fairly good meal.

Found this place on one of the food delivery services and was pleased to see it was a short hop away (less than a mile south of Mosaic District). The menu is pretty condensed, but continues to evolve as this is a relatively new joint. That said, a small menu often times means each and every dish is excellent (jack of all trades, master of none)? I picked up the Cucumber Tuna Cup-bob, Cucumber Tuna Rolls, and Cucumber Kimchi. All were top notch - fresh, light (healthy feeling), with good flavor. Everything tasted original and the freshly prepared. The Cucumber Kimchi had a decent kick to it (spice), so beware if you're used to less spicy kimchi. The bonus and probably what sets them apart is their focus on quality ingredients (halal meat with korean food? unheard of!). I'd love to see them add an option for 100% grass fed beef as well. Overall, I'd take this place any day of the week over a similar bowl-spot (like Chipotle or Rasa. TL;DR: A fantastic fast-casual spot to pick up some healthy/light, yet flavorful meals. Take advantage of their current "grand opening" pricing.

The bulgogi cup-bob was wonderful filled with so much well prepared ingredients and flavorful. For a restaurant that has a motto of healthy food the food definitely doesn't lack in the flavor department. Everything tastes so home made.
