The people are nice and helpful. The food comes out quick. There is a lot of seating in this small place. The food is really good.

It was interesting, never had this style of noodle soup before. Not sure I would get it again but was glad I tried it. I would say try it for yourself. It's not too flavorful and has a bit of sourness.

I loved everything we got. The beef burrito was the best. It was so crispy and so well seasoned. It comes in 2 so its perfect to share. I would even just get the burrito and something else next time. It is my first time trying the luosifen noodles and I was surprised that I liked the texture of the noodles! The medium was perfect spicy level for me as a korean but I think I can go one more step of medium. I would personally add more peanuts next time. The soup was very flavorful and light. Was perfect for raining day! Friendly service too she gave us several recommendations on what is popular! The shop is also clean and well decorated. Would definitely go again! Continuing my journey to find the best beef noodle soup, I came across the location that I pass by all the time. Spoiler alert, the beef noodle soup was not very good, but their Luosifen was out of this world! It's rare I find a noodle dish I haven't had before, let alone haven't even heard of, but this was their specialty dish. The flavors were great - little bit sour, savory and umami. I never had anything like it and will 100% comeback just for these noodles! We also tried the chef recommend fish dish and the beef burrito. I was not a huge fan of the fish due to the super sour/pickled taste, but my girlfriend loved it. The beef burrito had a nice flaky dough and was decently filled with meat and toppings. This is a great hole in the wall spot serving very authentic Chinese food. If you come here, you MUST get the Luosifen. The chef was really nice and welcoming. He came out and recommended some dishes and checked on us to see if we enjoyed it! Apps: Beef Burrito Entrees: Beef Brisket Luosifen, Braised Beef Noodles and Fish with Pickled Vegetables

Known for their luosifen (snail broth soup!) I've been here twice and on the weekend the soup tasted wayyy better (more flavorful, deeper color, etc) so... Take it how you will ‍ I don't think their spice is too spicy so I'd get extra extra hot if you want it spicy The service was.... Friendly although slow. And they kept speaking Chinese to me for some reason lol

Service: the owner is super sweet and made the recommendation to add tbe fried oil egg on top of my noodles Food: A11 and the beef burrito was so yummy Ambiance: very cute restaurant My second time here and it was awaowm food for a rainy day. I got the large bowl for leftover lunch. Definitely add the vinegar and the extra spicy sauce. The spicy sauce isn't that spicy so try it!!

Service was bad, even though we were one of the only tables in the joint. Average food. What made the experience enjoyable was the company.

    Small shrimp lousifen (extra spicy)

The owner Yanzi (Audrey) owned this place for 8 years. This restaurant was located in Rockville and but she recently moved here. She gave us a thorough walk through of the menu and some of highlight menu items they're known for. I ended up ordering the small shrimp lousifen (extra spicy). I loved the flavors being slight sour and heat with different textures from the wood ear mushroom, peanuts, to tofu skin. Adding the secret vinegar that was recommended definitely took flavors up and additional notch. I wish we went with more people because I wanted to try the beef burrito, but I guess that's something I can try next time I'm back. The QR code order system was great. I loved that I was able to order and customize directly on a webpage it lead to and then ask for my check when the meal was completed in my own time.

Amazing authentic place! Service is super friendly and there's plenty of seating for indoor dining. Located in a shopping plaza, there's parking outside! Menu is pretty extensive and range from tradition lousifen cuisine to Sichuan cuisine -- something for everyone! I specifically came here to try out their lousifen noddle dish and opted to get the beef lousifen in a medium. The broth was super flavorful & love the different toppings that came with ( bok choy, peanuts, picked veggies). I did however think it was not spicy enough but thankfully the table had more chili oil for you to add as much as your hear desire. I could recommend adding a splash or 2 of the homemade vinegar that is on the table (it's a sweet tangy flavor)! You can also add additional toppings if you would like for extra charge such as eggs, fried tofu, extra meat, the list goes on! I will definitely be back soon - they have a dry lousifen section which I am curious to try next

Great food and service! Will for sure be back! Best ragoons we have ever had. Definitely try it out!

So I went to Yanzi Noodle House on a soup craving mission, and WOW. First off, the staff is super chill and friendly. They totally schooled me on Lousifen, which is this amazing broth with...wait for it...snails! I was a little hesitant, but they explained it so well, and I'm so glad I gave it a shot. We got a big bowl of it to share, and everyone, including my 10-year-old, was slurping it up. Seriously, the broth is packed with flavor, and they have this spicy vinegar and other stuff on the table so you can customize it to your heart's content. We also got some basil popcorn chicken (duh, always a good choice for the kiddos) and this beef burrito thing that's basically a scallion pancake stuffed with beef. The owner even came over to chat, which was cool. They're working on a new menu, and I'm already excited to try it. Seriously, if you're looking for noodles and unique flavors, check them out! up

    Seafood luosifen
    Brina T.

Came here craving that unapologetically funky, spicy, and sour luosifen experience, and left feeling a little underwhelmed. I ordered the signature luosifen with deep-fried egg and the seafood luosifen. Both bowls had fresh toppings and a clean broth, but the noodles were overcooked and lacked that springy bite. If you're expecting the original, in-your-face luosifen with its super bold spice, tang, and fermented punch, this isn't it. The flavors are much milder and clearly toned down to suit American tastes. If you're new to luosifen, this could be a gentle introduction--but for diehard fans craving authenticity, it might miss the mark.

The place was filling up and the ambiance reminds me of a traditional bustling noodle house - perfect for the cold snap we were experiencing at the time. We got hot and sour noodle soup, sichuan beef noodle soup, and an order of their pork soup dumplings. Portions are generous and prices are fair, it's easy to become a regular here if you live nearby. The hot and sour noodle soup is as advertised - just enough spice to complement the sour, but not overwhelm to make it feel like mala. It's served, as expected, with glass noodles, some bak choi, and some pork slices. Nothing spectacular but par for the course. The sichuan beef noodle foon soup was slight notch better. The broth gives really warm vibe and you can tell it's been brothing for a long time. Again just the right amount of spicy to make you keep slurping for more. The noodles were average, chewy, but not bouncy. Also comes with a healthy amount beef slices and bak choi. Again - a great noodle soup bowl but nothing jaw dropping. Soup dumplings were fantastic, however. The pork definitely has its own marinade and the soup is flavorful. The dumpling skin is well constructed and complemented well with the noodle soups - especially in cold weather. tldr; solid noodle soup spot, they seem to be consistent and really hits the mark when you're in a for your noodle fix. Soup dumplings are probably a must get side dish with whatever your main is

Unlike other KBBQ spots, it's not AYCE. Instead, you order combos or a la carte meats, which highlights the quality of what you're getting! For our meal, we ordered a feast of the Chosun Hwaro Combo (Medium), Baekdusan bulgogi, japchae, and bibim naengmyun. The meat quality here is extremely PREMIUM and every bite was super juicy, tender, and packed with flavor! I cannot stop thinking about the Baekdusan bulgogi because it was truly a savory MEAT MOUNTAIN. Our kind server gave us a pro tip to mix the sauce with rice. That completely changed the dish for me! The sauce soaking into the rice made it unbelievably rich and satisfying. I loved that the combos come with steamed egg and soybean paste stew, which were comforting sides alongside all the grilled meat and ban chan (kimchi, radish, etc) already at the table. As for my noodle dishes, I usually never order japchae, but I did and this one ended up being the best japchae of my life. It was PACKED with so many flavorful meat and vegetable toppings.
