I'm honestly disappointed because I remember this place being much better. I don't mind paying $40 for a good meal, but this wasn't one. Unless you're a local who doesn't want to make the 20-minute drive down Alpine, I'd recommend making the drive instead. Even Empire Buffet has been more consistent in my experience.
