The food is hit or miss which is typical of any buffet restaurant. The decor has clearly not been changed in a long time but everything looks clean. The restaurant is usually quiet around lunchtime which I enjoy. Mostly I'm just so pleased with how the staff treats customers, especially because my grandparents eat here often. Don't believe what you see! Please reconsider eating here! They will over charge you and not say Anything till you catch it. Then still charge for dinner durnig lunch hours!!! Hong Kong Buffet is priced right to fill you up. It is cheaper than Mc'Donalds and all of the other fast food chains. The hostess is always friendly, hard working and has a smile on her face. I recommend Hong Kong Buffet to everyone. read more

Horrendous. I am not the one to throw myself under the bus, but I am a cheap woman and am too poor to buy a new toilet ( although Im not too cheap to buy your food ;) ). Anyway, my toilet hasn't been working for several months, so I have casually been using my bathtub as a toilet. Oh sorry! I forgot this is a yelp review! Anyway, I am here to complain. Your food was undercooked and gave me food poisoning and raging diarrhea. The only positive outcome of this is at least my diarrhea was liquid enough to go directly down the drain. Went here Sunday night for dinner (when it's priced a little more) and had terrible service. The waitress never refilled our drinks and only came to the table once. We had to go to the front to even get our bill where we found the waitress doing something on her laptop. We love Hong Kong buffet. The people are friendly and the food is good. We've gone there for years. No, they don't usually come back to your table, the restrooms are old, and it's not open on Monday's but it's a quiet easy going atmosphere with better Chinese food than most places in the area. Went here Sat. Sept. 12, 2019 about 5:00. In a nutshell. You got to be kidding. Three adults and three grandkids. All of us said YUCK! And then when they started cleaning the fish pond in the front it started to stink, that was a little unpleasant. But, that's not the worst part, Their sewer pipe backed up. If you think the fish pond stunk, try sewage smell when your eating. NEVER, AND I MEAN NEVER would I EVER go back to this place. The food was the WORST we ever had at any Chinese Buffet. The best part was when they were rushing to broom/squeegee the sewage into the kitchen so customers would not smell it, didn't work, so glad we JUST got done eating and got out, the SMELL was TERRIBLE!!!! I used to love this place but it just keeps going down with their quality of food. Took the family there for Easter around 5:30 pm and the food was hard ( scallops and shrimp) and cold (lo mein noodles & coconut shrimp). Then to top it all off my husband got a rotten egg on the buffet. Plus there was only one kind of ice cream. For the price they expect you to pay you should get quality food Thanks for making this a restaurant I will NEVER eat at again. When we asked if there would be any compensation they started chatting in whatever language they are from and we still paid the full price. When you first enter you are greeted by a long sign that says please wait to be seated. After you acknowledge the sign you notice you are the only person in the room and you begin to wonder if you just broke into a abandoned building. Just as your about ready to leave in fear of setting off the alarm a women appears from no where to seat you. You don't get to pick where you sit. Even tho you are the only customer. After being seated you make your way to the buffet. You take a long look at the very small section of food and hope it tastes better then it looks but it doesn't. This place should be out of business for health code violations. Ice cream for the buffet is in a freezer where customers all scoop it out themselves. Disgusting and if they are that aloof to proper food handling I can't imagine all of the other issues a health inspector would find. read more

I used to come here cause it was cheap and good, but I went last night (1/24/2015) and was charge way more than usual. On the front door it says dinner buffet in the 7 dollar range, even on holidays. My bill was $10.50 per adult and $4 per child. One child being 2 and the other 4. What happened? Who charges toddlers at a buffet? read more

Where do I start? How but staff child walking around barefoot near the buffet tables. Then the ice cream you have to dish out yourself with a large spoon. Ice cream along the edges was yellowish and looked very old. Was also disappointed that they consider a child that is 10, an adult. Will be in touch with the healt department!!! read more
