I ordered the 3-item plate with BBQ Pork, Sweet & Sour Pork, Steamed Vegetables, and half rice/half noodles. Unfortunately, the meats were dry and lacked flavor. The rice wasn't too bad, but the noodles were overcooked and mushy. The vegetables were somewhat decent, though also slightly overcooked and mushy. I had a good experience with their Hawthorne location and it's been forever since I've been here so I thought I'd give them a run. Came through and knew exactly what I wanted: that fried chicken and mushroom with chicken. It wasn't busy, so I was helped rather quickly. Went for my grub paired with steamed rice and noodles. Like the Hawthorne location, they are pretty generous here! NOODLES: Nothing out of the ordinary. Comparable to Panda Express' version but this was a bit under seasoned - but nothing a bit of soy sauce couldn't fix. Great chew and flavor overall. FRIED CHICKEN: Some Yelpers say it's garlic infused/flavored. Not really sure if that's the case here as I barely got a hint of garlic flavor. They were delicious, though, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I feel it's been in the warmer for a minute, though, but that's to be expected. MUSHROOM CHICKEN: Also as expected but good flavor. More mushroom than chicken (like... 80% mushroom, 20% chicken kinda thing.) Still delish, though! FOOD: 4. SERVICE: 3. VALUE: 4. The dumpling soup was also tasty, and the house fried rice had great flavor. The Mongolian beef, however, had more onions than beef. Much more than what Panda Express would give. Overall the food were meh. Too greasy and the meats were fatty. The orange chicken- had no crispiness and it was ALL breading. This one hurts to write. I used to work just 2-3 minutes from this plaza, and this Chinese spot was my go-to lunch place. About 80% of the time, it was a smooth transaction with solid food quality. There was one instance about two years ago involving poor customer service from a staff member, but I brushed it off--it happens, and I try to be understanding. After taking some time away, I decided to stop by again and ordered fried rice with teriyaki chicken. I was genuinely excited to eat, but while I was going through the meal, I discovered what appeared to be a baby roach on my chicken. At first, I hoped it might've been a fly that landed in the food, but after a closer look, it was clearly a roach. That was extremely disappointing. I used to vouch for this place and considered it one of my favorites. Seeing something like this points to serious cleanliness and maintenance issues. Don't come here. Chow mein is old and overcooked and the fried rice taste like old oil or old starch. It does not taste like fried rice at all. Beef broccoli meat is tough and dry. Broccoli is over cooked and mushy. The wings and shrimp did look good but now I'm concerned on how they actually taste. Service was nice and quick. About the only good thing about my meal today. The place looks like your normal Chinese takeout. The service is good as they are ready to fill your order. The food was good. The garlic wings are my favorite. Flavorful and juicy. It's a must eat. The bbq pork is delicious and not overly fatty. The green beans and chicken is bomb. The broccoli beef is okay. The beef slices were a bit small but not bad. The chow mein noodles are good, some of my family said it was a bit bland but they added shoyu on top and they were fine. They give good portions here and now accept credit cards. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes give you the best bang for your buck. I got the combo 2, which comes with 2 sides. I got half chow mein and half fried rice along with beef and broccoli and orange chicken. The chow mein noodles were thick but the texture was extremely soft, almost soggy-like. In addition, the orange chicken was really doughy. You don't really get much chicken since there's so much batter. Overall, it's not the best food you'll have but it'll fill you up. Check your food before eating. I didn't notice insects in my white rice till my son said theirs insects in my food. At first I thought it was just one but after checking his white rice it was more than a few. Then rapidly checked my white rice and spotted some insects in my food as well. We get home start eating and then my husband felt something hard, pulls it out his mouth, ITS A LITTLE CHUNK OF METAL!!!!! I immediately call them back MULTIPLE TIMES & now it's 9:20 but they don't close until 9:30 and they NEVER picked up the phone!!! The phone was ringing the first few times then kept going str8 to voicemail!!! ‍ I call the next morning asking for the manager & owners phone number & the female employee said "Ohhh we don't have it" WHAT!? then really asked if I wanted to just order something new in place of the food from the night before. There's outside parking but it's shared with several businesses so it gets packed. The food here is very reasonably priced. You can actually get a full plate for $7. They accept Apple Pay, MasterCard, Discover & visa. But heads up they have a $5 minimum. There's tables inside for indoor eating, and the staff are very nice. It's very clean on the inside, and they had a tv on playing the news. They do have more vegetarian options than panda. They have eggplant & tofu, spicy shrimp, sautéed green beans, and shrimp won ton soup. While I was waiting on my soup A customer seemed very unhappy as there's a picture of shrimp & vegetable soup with noodles. He found that there was a ton of chicken in his soup. The picture was very deceiving. They warned him that he should of ordered shrimp & noodles only. But how was he supposed to of known? I was thinking to myself thank goodness I got the shrimp won ton!
