Korean Chinese food is such a bop. You can't convince me otherwise. Is it the healthiest? No but who cares, live to eat, not eat to live right? So where do we even start. Get the tangsuyuk, kkanpung saeu, jajangmyeon, and jjamppong. Tangsuyuk, fried chicken, is a staple for any Korean Chinese restaurant. Crispy and juicy with some of that amazing sweet and sour sauce to go along with it. You just can't go wrong with it. Kkanpung saeu, fried shrimp, is equally amazing. Crispy and juicy and bursting with flavor, I had to restrain myself lest my future father in law gets mad at me for eating it all. Oops. Jajangmyeon is the classic. This black bean noodle is more korean but it's got the essentials. Plenty of black bean sauce, bits of meat, and noodles for days. It's hard to mess jajangmyeon up. My favorite would probably be jjamppong though. This seafood noodle was not too spicy but just jammed pack full of seafood and what not. Each bite left me sniffly but wanting more and more. I had stains all over my shirt and pants afterward if that's any indication of how much I liked it. So there you go, this hole in the wall restaurant is fantastic, eat here on many occasions if you can. The workers mostly speak Chinese, not so much Korean, but English will get you by too.

Food is fresh and flavorful. Love their noodle soup and fried dumplings! Spicy noodle soup is a must try.

Great service! Workers know multiple different languages and are very efficient. They are also very friendly with children. Food comes out fast, hot, and delicious every time. Their menu is huge so there will always be something to enjoy regardless of differing tastes. Id recommend getting a few dishes and splitting with everyone, its served family style anyways. The black bean noodles and seafood soup are some of our favorites.

The food tasted good overall; however, the portion size was much smaller than expected. We ordered a large tangsuyuk, but it appeared closer to a small portion.

don't know why the overall review is so low... this place definitely has great korean chinese food!! there's a lot of seating and the servers were so nice. my family and i took a while to order but the guy there was super patient with us and even helped us pick out our menu. the food... SO GOOD. here's what i've tried: sizzling rice soup omg... i was not expecting this to be so good. my mom ordered this and i ended up eating more of it then her. it's an interesting porridge dish; the rice comes fried and the worker puts it in the soup, where it makes a sizzling noise (hence the name). it had various seafood in it and it was so scrumptious... jajangmyeon (noodle with bean sauce) wow. i usually don't like jajangmyeon but this had me scraping every bit on the bowl. the noodles were cooked to perfection. the portion is big so if you ask them to divide into half, they'll do it for you!! kkanpung saeu (fried shrimp with garlic sauce) scrumptious. great sauce, the shrimp is crispy and overall, it's just flavorful. this place is amazing; will def come back next time and try other dishes as well!!

Great food and awesome service. Good and fast. Great ambiance. definitely a place to try here in Gardena

This hole-in-the-wall gem in Gardena was a pleasant surprise. Chinese-Korean fusion food. A family-oriented spot where you feel like you're being served by mom. You are taken care of while dining. The Sliced Fish with Garlic Sauce (#109) along with the Eggplant with Hot Garlic Sauce (#122) were both excellent choices!

Updating to 5 Stars. Better food, better service. This restaurant is full of customers. Best place to eat for big gatherings.

The one with all the steam dishes was so pushy but she had the Hao Goa (Shrimp dumpling) and chicken feet which we usually get. Food was not piping hot to begin with. Wrapping for Shrimp dumpling was mushy and a bit on the thicker side. All the other dishes were not memorable and nothing to write home about. But overall just not up to PAR. We asked the pushy cart lady if she had beef tripe and she said they could put in an order to get it steamed. The tripe never came but it was on our bill. So be sure to check your bill.

For this visit, we ordered the following dishes (which started arriving within 10 minutes): Roast Duck: As expected, the duck skin was crispy, and the meat was plump, tender and nicely seasoned. Beef Chow Fun: The seasoning was super flavorful, and the glossy, but non-greasy sautéed thick rice noodles had a perfect texture. The beef pieces were tender, and the portion of bean sprouts was just right without overcrowding the dish. Wonton Soup Noodle: The thin noodles were perfectly al dente. The broth was light but flavorful. The wontons had nice thin wraps, and the fillings were well seasoned and with pleasantly firm consistence. We left the restaurant feeling 110% full and satisfied. Yelp had this place on its list of recos, but there was something about this place that drew me in... ... and it turns out, I have actually been here before. But it has been about 30+yrs since, waaaaayyy before my Yelp years! (SIDE STORY: My GodMom and grandparents used to live a couple of blocks away from here and we often ordered food here back in the day.) They are incredibly popular. All their tables were occupied (granted, there were only three or four) but patrons coming through were non-stop. Staff were efficient as well because given the line (there were three people ahead of me) they got us outta there pretty quickly. I went for half white rice, half noods, black pepper chicken and fried chicken/wings. (NOTE: they packaged the wings separately so it doesn't get soggy from the black pepper sauce - love this!) They were good at providing disposable utensils as well as sauce packets. It didn't take long before I was on my way back to work. Noods had nice flavorful chew. Rice was fluffy. Fried chicken/wings was crispy and savory with a slight hint of sweet. But the black pepper chicken was AM.A.ZING!!! There was so much flavor packed in every bite and couldn't get enough of it! There wasn't a lot of fillers either, so that's a plus. Highly recommending this! FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 5. They give you enough for a second meal. PARKING: Lots of space shared with others. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.5. I couldn't stop thinking about the black pepper chicken that I just had to come back the next day to have it again. Paired it with orange chicken on that second run. Not as great, but it is one of their more popular items. (Most people ahead of me ordered it and the pan got refilled during both visits.) So it was a delight coming through here again as it brought back tons of memories. I even remember making many stops at the laundromat next door. Also drove by my auntie's old house. Ahhhh, good times! I shall return! If only for the delicious black pepper chicken!

Walking in on a Saturday, the place was buzzing with patrons, so I knew this had to be up to par with many of the ono spots serving Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine in the area. My friend I chose to order two dishes. Our choices were the Ladybug Fried Chicken and Fried Rice with Char Siu. The Fried Rice comes with Miso Soup. The Miso Soup was served first. It had a light and savory broth that was comforting. It had a good umami rich miso flavor and made for a good soothing start for the meal. Up next, we got to try the Fried Rice with Char Siu. The Fried Rice had a surprising reddish color that perfectly matched the char siu. It added a nice visual cue to the sweet, smoky flavor. The Ladybug Fried Chicken was my favorite. It was freshly fried, golden and crispy. I enjoyed the juicy and tender meat and the crunchy outside. It is served with rice, green salad and potato-mac. I wish there was an option to upgrade to fried rice because this fried chicken really paired well with the fried rice. Nevetheless, I did enjoy this chicken with the potato-mac as well. The potato-mac was creamy and was so ono. Overall, Ladybug Cafe is a solid spot in Gardena for some classic Japanese and Hawaiian eats!

Fu Sing isn't quite as good as Tin Sing but it's as close as we're ever going to get again so I'm happy the bugs in the system have been worked out and I can order without aggravation. Some other specialties that were popular with the Gardena crowd were the steamed pork and the pork egg rolls which are like taking a stroll along memory lane.
