    Beef chow fun
    Nancy P.

Food: I ordered the shrimp crispy balls and beef chow fun. They were tasty and I enjoyed the chow fun. The noodle was good. Service: I ordered online so I didn't interact much to anyone. I picked up the order late so no idea how fast they are to say. Ambiance: looked nice inside but it was empty at 2:40pm-ish. They do offer a lunch special but I wanted chow fun and that's not an option

Excellent good. Baked porked bun loaded with pork and baked to perfection. Chicken and corn soup was delicious. It was hot and loaded with chicken and corn. The clams with black bean sauce was so flavorful. Service was quick and the server was very efficient and friendly.

This restaurant has great food and is very clean! Looks very nice inside and is big. The food is soooo good. I have already eaten here and brought friends and family so many times. All the dishes I have had are great. They always come out very hot and fresh. They have a big menu ranging from dim sum, noodle dishes, soups and even Latin cuisine. I recommend this place to everyone! Please go try it out you won't be disappointed!!

Great space and atmosphere with soft background music. We were seated and served right away. Our server was very good and the food came out fast. We were all pleasantly surprised with the fresh and tasty meals! Chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, tofu and veggies in brown sauce. We'll be back.

We've now been here twice and I'm going to say this is some of the best Chinese cuisine in all of Orlando. Very unassuming both outside and inside, but the preparation of our meals hasn't been outstanding. The first time here we basically did a Dim Sum by ordering the small plates on the back of the menu. Everything was outstanding. Unfortunately I don't have the photos but man it was all so good. The second time my wife got a salt and pepper tofu that is unlike anything we've ever had. Fried so light and airy with incredible seasoning. Sweet and sour shrimp probably the best version of that I've ever had. If you are a fan of Asian cuisine, Hong Kong Kitchen is worth a visit.

Came in while they had a 3.99 Wednesday lunch special for their grand opening and was not disappointed. I had never visited any of the restaurants that were previously at this location, so I was very surprised by how nice and clean it was inside. The portion of food I got for the lunch special was obviously great value as it was only 3.99 at the time, but it also made me want to come back to try other items even at full price. While the flavors weren't anything spectacular or mind-blowing beyond a pickup Chinese spot, they have a few menu items like salted fish fried rice and Singapore rice noodles that I usually have to go down to Mills for, so it's nice to have a restaurant like this closer to me.

Char sui pork with vegetables and fried rice.

We were pleasantly surprised with quality of the food. Ordered Hot'Sour soup for 2. Delicious. It was not spicy enough for either of us. Which is good thing for the majority of people ordering. BUT there is a smoky hot chili oil sauce on each table. 1 full spoonful brought the heat up and made it a must order for future visits. I had Char sui pork and vegetables it was perfect. I had fried rice... it also got a teaspoon of the chili oil sauce. Yum. My friend got chicken and vegetables with white rice. He said it was very good cook. He took last part of his Hot'Sour soup added even more chili sauce then poured over the white rice. Perfect. Think I'll do that next time instead of fried rice. The Auntie that served us was from Hong Kong and was so tentative and kind. Looking forward to the next visit. =) I had been to Sizzlin Hot Pot 5 times in past (same building) ... I prefer Hong Kong Kitchen. =)

I did a takeout lunch of beef and broccoli with the pork fried rice, the rice did not taste fresh and the beef was scorching hot as if it had been microwaved ( my order was ready in less than 5 minutes). The beef was also very chewy and the smell was just off. I definitely would not recommend or dine here again.

We had a pretty fantastic experience for lunch yesterday. My 8 year old is in a dim sum kick lately, so when he heard there's a new Cantonese restaurant in our area, he demanded we try it. We started the meal by sharing a bowl of wonton (shrimp and pork) mein soup noodles. The broth was clear and tasty, the wontons were a good size, and the noodles perfectly tender with a little bounce/bite. We ordered several (too many for an adult and 8 year old) gr standard dim sum fare to test the waters and set the bar. Shrimp and pork siu mai, shrimp har gow, stuffed bean curd skin, baked char siu bao, soup dumplings, and fried shrimp balls. They were all fair sized and a competitive price. Their shapes/sizes were pretty homogenous, so I suspect they may be frozen and not hand made, but the preparation was superb; cooked perfectly and served steaming hot. Our server was a very sweet older woman who was attentive and friendly with my son. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and polished with some nuanced paintings and photos of old Hong Kong movie stars and landscape. The restaurant is fairly calm and quiet, perfect for a relaxing lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We're glad to have a new and slightly elevated Cantonese, that also serves dim sum, restaurant in the area. Definitely adding to the rotation.

Have been craving Chinese food for a few weeks now but not just some late night uber meal. Wanted to try something new and new I chose. This place open not to long ago and was very curious about it. Stopped in and it did not let me down. Asked the waiter for something with beef and noodles and he chose the beef chow fun, he said very traditional and noodles made in house. The meal was an explosion of flavor with a great level of spice. Very happy with my experience 5 out of 5, enough to actually not be lazy and write a review! :)

How is this place still in business. I just spent $75 on take out for 2 apps and sweet and sour chicken. It's THE WORST sweet and sour chicken IVE EVER HAD. The put the sauce on uncooked chicken. It's Saturday night at 8pm and NO ONE was n the restaurant and now I see why. I live close by and will never be back. I will make sure people near by know too. I should get a refund.

Brunch Review 2026!…read more It's a Saturday in late April 2026 and the Orlando Magic are taking on the #1 rated Detroit Pistons! My brother and I deliberate days before on meeting up and with little hesitation, we opted for the Ravenous Pig! Securing a table reservation we instead opted to sit on the pub side where the TVs are. Soon after sitting down, we were greeted by Christina who was our server for the afternoon! Now this is Brunch Mode at the Ravenous Pig with a brunch style menu and beautiful rays on Sunshine which can feel quite different if you're used to having meals or drinks here for dinner where it can be quite busier and a different vibe! Today's visit was comfortable in the pub, lite in the dining room floor and nearly full outside in the beer garden. I settled in with the current version of the Gin and Jam! It tends to change as products become available with the underlying truth being a lite and refreshing cocktail to start with. This version is well done overall! Food wise we started with the Croquettes which had a sausage in them which brought good flavor paired with the crunchy exterior and white sauce on the plate resulted in an appetizing dish. Continuing on, the Sparkling Tea on menu is fantastic! As a side beverage or even mocktail form, it's a great Bev. We went with that and with the Magic game about to start, I went with the IT GOES TO ELEVEN cocktail! Boozy, Bright and Veracious! With these drinks in hand, we decided to move forward with more food and after consulting with Christina, we went with the Huckleberry pancake and the miso butter ribs. Without a doubt, the Huckleberry pancake was the standout star of the two dishes! A light pancake with great flavor and depth that doesn't fill you up but is a great sweeter dish that I can see Incorporated with a more savory brunch item like bacon and eggs as an example. Overall a great time for brunch! Shout out to Brian, Costa (the GOAT) and Scott for keeping it real and just being great individuals overall!

The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.
