I ordered the Pad Thai, the coconut soup and dumplings through UberEats. The packaging was poor. It had spilled quite a bit. Though the Pad Thai had a good amount of chicken and seafood (upcharge for both), it was disproportionate. The noodles was too much, there was no spring onions, no bean sprouts, the tamarind sauce was weak, no peanuts and no limes. Truly disappointed. I would avoid ordering this. The Thai coconut soup was ok as was the dumplings. For the money that I spent, I felt this experience was not great. The restaurant could certainly improve quite a bit. When we walked in, the whole restaurant smelled of stale Marijuana smoke. It felt like half of the restaurant was closed and the lights were off. It was a wierd vibe.I needed to use the restroom right after we sat down and it was gross. The food was fair at best. I added a star for the presentation. The heart shaped rice is a nice touch. I get the feeling this would work for downtown lunch, but for an evening before hitting the town, it's a skip for a 2nd chance. I came here for the first time with some coworkers for a work lunch. We arrived before the downtown lunch rush so there were plenty of tables available. The service was quick and the two people serving are group were very nice. A bunch of us ordered the Pad Se-Ew with chicken and it was the first to come out. We asked for the spice tray as well and I added what looked like gochujang sauce which gave it the right kick to my liking. I like to order my Thai mild and add the heat on my own. Pad Se-Ew is different everywhere you go and this version was a little on the sweeter side. Other people ordered the house fried rice and pad Thai. This restaurant is at the corner of Pine St and S Court Ave. Go in and the place is bigger than I expected it to be. It looks a little fancy; there's a beautiful chandelier. It took a few minutes before we were greeted but we were seated pretty quickly. We were there for lunch so we ordered from the lunch menu and the portions were more than enough. Food was delicious. I ordered the Bangkok Seafood and my coworker had Yellow Curry. Everything looked amazing. I was very pleased with my food choice. My coworker said her curry was good but that it was missing something, but she could not pinpoint what it was. We did not get desserts but were impressed by the ones we saw being taken to other tables. Im going to have to try one the next time I come in to Napasorn. Napasorn has a great location right downtown and is rarely busy, which is perfect. The staff is very friendly and everything came out quickly so we were able to make our other plans. When I go back, I won't be getting the gyoza, I wasn't a super fan and I think there are other things that will be better that I would rather try. But, the Drunken Noodles were great. The sauce was pretty typical, but the portion was enormous; I had plenty leftover when I was full. I came here for the Garlic/Pepper Chicken and an order of Chicken/Shrimp Fried rice for me. I have read a lot of the reviews one thing for sure is this place used to be one of the greatest restaurants here in Downtown Orlando. Unfortunately, the owners have ran all their faithful customers out the door. The restaurant does need a whole new design and the music they are playing should be turned down a bit so you can have a private conversation with your table. My server David was extremely nice and told me what was good to eat here because he has been working with the company for over 7 years. Long story short, yes this place needs to be on Restaurant Impossible but the food was spot on delicious. Take out food is the way to go! BTW I love shrimp tails. I ordered and waited about 10 minutes. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken and a serving of Tom Kha Gai. I took my meal to go because I wanted to watch TV. A group of us has been walking around downtown Orlando all day playing a Clued Upp murder mystery game. Once we had found all of our clues, we decided to grab some lunch to discuss our case. A friend suggested Thai food so we headed to Napasorn. When we arrived, there was no one else in the restaurant so we were seated immediately. It had a nice ambience inside. My boyfriend and I just wanted something light so we decided to share the appetizer samples which came with two spring rolls, two cheesie rolls, two potstickers, and two chicken sate skewers. One member of our group ordered pad Thai and the other ordered pad see ew. Our meals arrived quickly. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the appetizer sample. The chicken sate was tender and had great flavor on its own. There were three different dipping sauces which were all tasty. The spring rolls were crispy with a nice mixture of filling, the cheesie rolls were good, and the potstickers also were yummy, though not as much filling as some places. I took a taste of the pad Thai and the pad see ew and liked both of them, especially the pad see ew. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. It was a Fiday night when we visited and it was dead. There were several under eats pick-ups, so they still seemed to be doing good business. Tempura isn't Thai, but DANG!!! They do it right!! Crispy, fresh hot, and the veggies still had the slightest crunch!!! Very fresh and good! The spring rolls, however... not so much. The "veggie" stuffing was mushy and almost had a creamy type of texture. Our main course was the PraRam, and they subbed out tofu for the meat for us. It was really, really good. Lots of tgat hood peanutty flavor that I love so much and the tofu was fried to firm and crispy perfection. My only complaint would be that the sauce was a little too think, and there was just a little too much of it. I had the Bangkok delight and fried wontons and the delight was a little grainy because it's homemade curry of course but noodles were nice . My friend had a duck dish that Is called duck pineapple curry and it was incredible and my fave. It was so comforting and we paired everything with the Thai iced tea which is a must have. We had mango sticky rice for dessert which was perfect. You can almost never go wrong with Thai food, especially when a restaurant serves this kind of quality. I loved every dish we tried, including the Pad Thai, which I had never actually tried before (I'm usually a pad see ew person). The service was quick and flexible to my allergy limitations. The menu was large and had a great amount of variety. The garlic and pepper chicken stir fry had a very unique flavor to reflect that! And I think the Tom Kha Gai soup and yellow curry were pretty standard - in a good way - as well. Our expectations were definitely met! Came to Napasorn for lunch. From the moment I entered I immediately felt a difference in the way I and another were being treated versus the non minorities in my party. Our group was a mixture of Black, Hispanic, and white individuals. We had made a reservation as we were celebrating a coworkers promotion and had a larger party. I wanted to love this place based on so many positive things others have mentioned but I absolutely cannot recommend . The service I recieved here was deplorable. While others in my party recieved their food, my order was conveniently not provided to well after they had been served and eating. I was offered no explanation when I questioned, and everytime I spoke I was ignored. Another minority in my party never got her food at all, so she opted to cancel all together. I am always very polite and still attempted to remain cordial. The food was presented well, however the flavors were lacking and bland. The rice was over done. There is so many other Thai restaurants in the area that I could not and would not ever frequent this restaurant again. I would highly recommend that if you are a minority that you find a restaurant that will treat you with dignity and respect you deserve. The Food quality leaves a lot to be desired read more

This is a great little place to eat during the week day evenings. In fact, it's super quiet and relaxing so I really appreciate that. I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and staff is also very kind. They make a very good Thai tea and the curries are good but not as creamy as I like. My biggest issue with my recent trip here was their summer rolls. We ordered two to share and if you know what a summer roll is made up of you know it's fresh herbs and veggies and shrimp. I am not going to like one of my rolls had ONE shrimp in it. Ugh. Really? There should be at least three. So that was definitely a downer. If not for that I would be giving this place 4 stars. But if you're in a bind before a musical and need a place to eat this is not a bad choice. read more

Napasorn, where have you been all my life? Oh, Orlando apparently is the answer. Now here's something I don't publicize THAT often, but my spicy meter is broken. As in I never find anything spicy. If you're looking for some schmancy-fancy Thai restaurant with all its frills, this isn't it. The ambiance is functional. Heck, they have paper mats on tables. There are a variety of lunch specials. The three of us went for that and some spring rolls. The spring rolls are divided into four pieces and bring some sauces on the side. The lunch specials include your choice of ginger or peanut salad. We all went for ginger. One of my colleagues had chicken and vegetables, while the other had chicken pad Thai. I don't remember the spice level of the chicken pad Thai. I think it was medium. My other colleague though had his food mild, while I sat there choosing the chicken drunken noodles and debating spice. I spoke to our waiter. He talked me out of the Thai spicy, so I only went hot. Still, he brought me condiments on the side for extra heat if need be. Have to say I'm grateful. I repeat: my spicy meter is broken. The food was tasty, but I didn't find it spicy. I kept adding condiments. Hence, if you're a daredevil or lover of spice, go Thai spicy. Hot isn't enough. That's my two cents anyway. You can always go lower and do the condiments. Your call. All of these details combined to give a negative first impression, but that all could've been reconciled with good food. Unfortunately, it was not. Thai is my favorite food genre- and this experience has made me realize I have never been disappointed by Thai food - until tonight. This is strictly a LUNCH MENU review. And in my experience, it was one deserving 5 stars. Upon entry, you notice the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, with a second floor option. It really was a pleasure to sit, listen to the soothing piano music playing in the place, and decompress. The decision was to stay on the lunch menu - which is very reasonably priced, while still offering a rather robust selection of Thai and Vietnamese classics. For starters, I went with the Summer Rolls. You know the soft, see-thru rolls with vegetables and shrimp. Here, they were fresh, crisp and cold. The peanut sauce served with them had a hint of curry it in, which provided a unique twist. They were outstanding. The good news is that Orlando is teeming with summer rolls, so add this place to the list of where to get a good one. Next, I was served a small ginger salad - which came with my lunch entree. This was a super refreshing added bonus. The lettuce was top class, crunchy and cold. And the ginger dressing was so good, I could've sipped the rest off the plate. But that probably wouldn't have been a good look. Finally, my entree was a homerun. Green curry, Thai hot with Chicken. Funnily enough, the waitress - who was super friendly, btw - notified me that she actually had that same thing for breakfast! Well, curry for breakfast! That's a great idea. For now though, it was my lunch, and a really good one. Green curry is a longtime favorite of mine, and this one was great. The peas, peppers, chicken and the rice were all prepared well, and the green curry sauce was absolutely sublime. I know this place is kinda old school. For two people of our age we would have gone in but we wanted something suttle and relaxed so we came across Napasorn Thai Resteraunt. It's not too big of a menu to get lost, but we found what we wanted pretty quick. We started with some Vegetarian Spring Rolls (inside was just cabbage and carrots). Main entrees: She got the Pad Thai with Seafood, which she asked if it was spicy. The server answered "Just tell me how hot you want it and we'll do it", so she said Medium. I ordered the Basil Fried Rice with Seafood and when she asked me, she said her heat went up to "hot hot" which I answered Hot. Me being a spice freak was excited. (Just as a note, the seafood option is Shrimp, Scallops, and Calamari) We got the food in about 10 minutes, and we were ecstatic! The presentation of the food won me!
