My coworker and I stopped in today thanks to Yelp and it was incredible! The place is cute with a nice, casual vibe. It's super clean too! We had a chicken pad Thai and a Banh Mi (earlier than they usually serve them) and both were excellent. It's not a pho only establishment as they have Japanese and Thai dishes as well. I'm in love! I have been searching for a good vietnamese restaurant and have not been able to find one, until now! I am so sad I didn't know about this place sooner. However, I will now be a regular customer. They are going to be sick of me! The lemongrass chicken vermicelli bowl was what I have been looking for. You have to mix it all up with their amazing fish sauce. Their fish sauce is better than at other restaurants! Other restaurants make it too vinegary or acidic, but not here. It is perfectly balanced. I like that they incorporate flavors from other cuisines here as well, such as with the Cajun fried rice. Why not? The perfect chewy texture of Vietnamese fried rice with spicy Cajun flavor. You can't go wrong! The summer rolls and the peanut sauce that come with them are also good. The passion fruit lemonade was really good. I was worried I wouldn't like it since I'm picky about lemonades and sweet drinks. But this wasn't too sweet nor too tart. We took a trip to An Vi for some late night Pho on a cold night and so glad we stopped in! We were greeted by the owner and his wife who are both chefs and also run the restaurant. Their personalities and customer service were warm, welcoming and appreciative. Not only was the customer service excellent, the food was delicious too! We ordered the Summer rolls, Crab Rangoons and Beef Pho. They have an extensive menu and also serve Cajun food. The portion sizes are generous, you will absolutely have leftovers. Food was fantastic.... The summer rolls with the peanut sauce were fresh, fully stuffed, and arrived quickly. The Rangoon were piping hot, and a good, flavorful twist on the well known version. The broths for both the wonton soup and the Tom Yum soup had great depth of flavor. Unfortunately, the chicken vermicelli bowl that was supposed to come with peanut sauce did not come with it, only the fish sauce. I hadn't been back to An vi vietnamese restaurant since their soft opening and it was time to see what they were fully capable of. We had a grilled pork banh mi which has a delightfully fluffy but crusty roll and juicy grilled pork. 3-meat pho with a quite light broth that still packed the lunch of those delightful warm pho spices. They use a wider, flat rice noodle and I believe it might be fresh? Not pictured were the fish sauce fried chicken wings that came out nice and crispy and perfectly cooked and juicy inside. The sauce didn't really stick to the wings though so a bit of chili garlic sauce helped amp up the flavor. Finally we had the house vermicelli special platter with a great selection of grilled meats and fresh veggies for a DIY lettuce wrap experience. The spring roll - while just a little side treat - was so flavor packed and lightly fried that I considered a to-go order. We've had good experiences at An Vi dining in and doing take out! This is a new Vietnamese restaurant in the Casselberry area that has a Cajun take on some of the dishes. We've tried various things from the menu, including the soups, rice dishes, and sandwiches. My favorite is the Cajun fried rice. I love the flavors! The grilled pork and firecracker shrimp are also very good. No alcoholic beverages on the menu. Service has been great on our visits. They are located in a shopping center so you shouldn't have trouble finding parking here. It's also pretty quiet in the restaurant so it would make a good date night spot. Picked up some to go Bun Bo Hue soup here.So good, I was feeling under the weather and this soup brought up my senses back. The broth and leafy greens like cilantro, green onions, bean sprouts and other fragrant herbs made it come alive. Loved the slurpy noodles to go with it too. It's said to be very spicy so they gave it to me as a side which was good because I added a bit and flavors popped out even more. Inside the broth had a very tender meat bone stew with the bone taken out I enjoyed every bit. Soup can feed two servings so it's a good enough amount in my opinion for the cost around 20 something. I recently had the pleasure of visiting multiple Pho restaurants in Central Florida over the past year, and I'm thrilled to say that I have finally found my favorite spot for Pho! I decided to try the House Special Pho, and I was impressed by the fresh rice noodles, beef tendons, beef balls, and especially the delicious brisket that just melted in my mouth. Additionally, the chef surprised me with a small bowl of beef broth containing perfectly cooked, medium-rare beef flank steak slices that were also very enjoyable. The service at the restaurant was excellent, and I enjoyed the pleasant ambiance, complete with a large TV showcasing a variety of different shows. While waiting for my Pho, I found myself amused by the funny wall decor and sayings, which helped make the wait time fly by. I highly recommend paying a visit to this restaurant if you're in the area. I'm looking forward to returning and trying out other items from their extensive menu. Okay An Vi has got to be my new favorite place for Vietnamese food in Orlando! We visited on a Sunday for lunch and it wasn't too busy. We tried the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork screwers for $15. The potion was very generous on the noodles lots of the typical toppings and a good meat portion. For our second dish we tried the cajun fried rice with fried catfish $16. It was super tasty and a unique dish I haven't tried before. We both loved it so much it was hard to slow down eating lol. Finally got to try this new little gem of a restaurant! Sitting here writing this review is making me drool all over again, as I can't wait to go back and try more dishes! It was that good! We started off with Summer rolls and Firecracker Shrimp. First, let's start with the Summer rolls that were huge! And the one end of them was left open, which I liked because I feel like sometimes the wrapper gets thick on the ends. It was really good and the peanut sauce to complement it was delicious! The Firecracker shrimp came out not as I was expecting, but they were delicious! It was a shrimp wrapped in a summer roll wrapper and fried and they served it with a side of chili sauce. They were so yummy! I got for my meal the Vermicelli bowl with shrimp and spring rolls. The shrimp were cooked to perfection and the glaze on them was amazing. The bowl overall was just so good and all of the different flavors and textures blended so well. My friend got a Vermicelli bowl with chicken and she said it was absolutely amazing. This place is legit! I hope it stays around for a very, very long time. So if you're on the fence about going, try it out! You will not be disappointed. This spot used to be a sushi restaurant, and now they are a Vietnamese kitchen. There are lots of tables to sit at, and there is a whole view of the kitchen area where the meals are quickly made. Stopped in during their soft opening, and three tables were being used by clients enjoying their meals and just chilling out. I really wanted a pho but ended up with the house special pork band mi sandwich to go. The music is low, so you aren't being drowned in it, which is wonderful when having a conversation or when dining. Just opened the quite large sandwich which has some crisp yet baguette bread holding together long slabs of cubed pork, pickled veggies and fresh cilantro pieces with pieces of jalapeno in the side, as I requested. The pho was underwhelming at best. When I ordered the banh mi, I specifically asked for extra veg bc I love lots of veggies on my banh mi. They gave me a little side of carrots instead. The banh mi was very unbalanced to me. Lots of meat, but hardly any veg. I had one stand of cilantro, one sliver of cucumber that wasn't even the length of half the banh mi, and two small slices of Jalapeño. It was really disappointing since I specifically asked for extra veg. If you don't like veggies, then you might like the sandwich. The pork is good and so is the bread. Then they bring out the million sauces to mix in and I always would ruin it, never knowing what to flavors would marry well. This is the first place I've gone where I feel like I finally 'get it.' The Pho here is really good! And there's not too many sauces, just a couple so you can only go but so wrong. I enjoyed the Pho here so much that I came back and had it again a few days later! I'd also add that it feels pretty healthy. Oh, and they have Pineapple Cream Soda which is the best soda I've ever had. It's by Stubborn and I've only seen/had it one other place. It took a little while to come out but there was a nice crispiness to the outside and soft inside. I got the regular beef Pho which you can choose between rare beef, brisket and meat balls. I went with the brisket for the Pho. The broth was light and made me think it may have had a hint of lemongrass (could be wrong). The rice noodles here are a bit thicker than usual. I also tried their house special banh mi, which is also made traditionally. The bread was cut from a baguette. The meat was a mix of char siu and other cuts. I would have liked a bit more pickled radish and carrots, but still quite good. My kids aren't super adventurous, but they love pho broth and noodles. They liked it and gave a thumbs up. The restaurant hasn't had a grand opening but are in a soft opening right now. Service was good- the waiter and other staff checked on us at least 3 times.
