I've found my new Chinese takeout spot! I love the food & staff that make this place what it is. While it helps that it's a 5 minute drive away, I have to say that their garlic eggplant is some of the BEST I've ever tried! I usually add chicken to mine, but it's only $11 to order the original dish. The inside is pretty copy & paste of other takeout restaurants. There are a few tables to eat at, but they encourage you to add a service tip if you do.

Sprouts and herbs were also lacking

We came here because there aren't many Viet restaurants in the area. It was lunch hour and the place was completely empty. We ordered the pho dac biet and it came out luke warm. I have eaten pho in many places and it's not a good sign when pho served Luke warm because of the rare beef used in the dish. The flavor was not great. I can definitely taste the MSG in the broth. When we asked for the check, it came with a 15% tip already added to the bill. I definitely am all for tipping when the service is good, and in this case I would have given a tip; however, when it automatically added to the bill, it's not cool in my opinion. When asked about it, the lady pointed to the hand written sign posted on their front counter. Now it all makes sense why this place has no patron. It was my first time and it will also be my last.

FAST friendly service, you can tell it's a family business. Too bad about the Chinese food, it was so so bland. Fried rice and sauce of the chicken barely had any flavor in comparison to many other Chinese takeouts we have tried throughout the years. So disappointed, we really wanted to love this place! May come back to try other Vietnamese dishes as their noodles salad was nice and fresh though. Two stars for the general tso's combination platter and 3.5 stars for the Vietnamese vermicelli noodles salad with grilled pork.

Good basic Chinese food with tasty Chinese style curries that are worth trying. Prices are moderate and portions decent.

They could at least try to make the food taste good... The word would get around... I ordered pork fried rice today because I miss the pork fried rice that I used to get up in Philadelphia and New Jersey. that was dark brown in color and served abundantly... When I got home, I lifted a lid and I saw that it was brown and I was happy thinking I was in for a treat... In a lot of Asian cooking, they use soy sauce, dark soy sauce for color, grated ginger, grated garlic, sesame oil, maybe some oyster sauce... This was only the dark soy sauce for color and the whole dish had no flavor... There was no eggs in it. It was just dark brown rice that was much too al dente, small diced pork, along with a few peas and carrots... I put it right in the freezer, hoping to get to it soon and doctor it up with all those ingredients to make it taste good... Huge disappointment... $25.00 lunch out the window... I also ordered beef with black bean sauce and not only did it not have ANY flavor from fermented black bean, but I could not even see specs of it... It was just the generic translucent brown sauce thickened with cornstarch, onions, broccoli, and beef that was not treated or marinated in any way... Certainly not velveted... So the beef was dry and tough and flavorless... I could be a good customer, but they'll never see me again...

I did not order ahead, as I wanted to check them out first. I arrived, saw that there was no entry... called and placed an order for General Tso's Shrimp, with white rice. I asked that it be packaged with sauce on the side, and in a way that it would not make a mess... I was on my motorcycle and planned on carrying it in my saddlebags. Ordering was easy, and I paid the meal easily also... credit cards accepted. Order arrived quickly, and I got it out of the interesting dropbox they use to prevent Covid transmission. Pretty good idea, actually. Loaded it into my saddlebags and zoomed home. Got home, checked it out, took photos and then sat down to eat. It was hot, shrimp were faily crispy, sauce was adequate with a tiny bit of spice to it. Rice was good. Broccoli was perfectly cooked! Portions were LARGE... lol. More than enough for one person. It was as good if not better.. than most of the takeout places I have found in Tampa. Pretty much satisfied with it... it was a good lunch! I will eat here again, when I am too lazy to cook what I want... lol! Next time will ask for more heat in the sauce though.

The customer service was great very attentive and fast . chicken was hard and chewy not edible and the noodles were a little too starchy for me and seemed slightly undercooked. The pork and rice was very plain with no veggies, which was disappointing since my kid actually loves her veggies The spring rolls arrived cold and hard and came with fish sauce; peanut sauce is available, but you have to ask for it. We also tried the vanilla bubble waffle with cookies & cream ice cream. The waffle itself was fresh, a good size, and comes with two toppings we opted for fruit. Unfortunately, the ice cream tasted stale and freezer-burned, so Id skip the ice cream scoop They do have a huge variety on the menu, so I may come back and try a few different dishes next time.

But the true MVP of the evening was Junior and the kitchen staff working on July 19. Just when I thought the experience couldn't get any better after asking Junior's advice on what to get, I noticed there was this sing for free donuts and after asking about them, the chef in the back emerged from the kitchen like a culinary superhero carrying fresh donuts that weren't even on the menu. I have never felt so seen, so valued, so loved by a chef I didn't even know personally. Those donuts deserve their own national holiday. I genuinely considered standing up and applauding they were that amazing. I will now be measuring all future dining experiences against "the night Junior brought us the donuts," and I fear no restaurant will ever recover. Thank you, Junior.
