They also offer seasonal cookies. My favorite seasonal cookies are the pumpkin flavor, jasmine matcha and passion, orange and guava (POG). I discovered Honolulu Cookie Company purely by accident. I was visiting from Kauai for work and was asked by my partner to bring back fruity shortbread cookies. He mentioned something about cookie corner in Ala Moana. So I walked into the mall and saw cookies kinda in the corner... and sure enough they had fruity shortbreads. Bought them. Flew home. Got the wrong cookies! But the silver lining is that the cookies I bought by mistake were amazing. And my partner loved them so much that they became the go-to whenever I went to Oahu. The cookies themselves are beautiful: shaped like pineapples...some with fruit jelly...some pastel colored...some dipped in chocolate. And the presentation is also beautiful...these are clearly a great souvenir gift from Hawaii. The are plenty of locations and they all sell pretty much the same stuff. When I got the registerI was asked from her only I'm resident here or not. So I answered her I live here. I know I have to type my phone number but there is no screen, so I asked her should I type my phone number? She told me "tap there", then it showed screen. Then she told me the amount and I have a free gift. Ok thx. Then I tapped my credit card and after thatI saw 10% off redeem screen. I asked her she said tap "ok". But that mean I finished pay. I saw my receipt no 10% discount. I know their point system, when reach the point to get 10% discount. And also they have kama'aina discount(10%) but I couldn't get neither one. I told her I thought I already scan my card so I didn't think I can get that redeem after that. She just told me "I asked you" and face to next customer. WTF?! No you didn't ask me to redeem or not. Yelp Review 2024 #18: This Honolulu Cookie Company is located in Ala Moana. They've gotten so popular that even my home city of Las Vegas has one. So, why would I come here if I can get it in Vegas? Because first, these cookies make good gifts. Second, I'm already at Ala Moana Mall. Third, I don't normally go to the Vegas location. Fourth, I'm a creature of habit - friends from Hawaii bring me Honolulu Cookie Company and I do the same. Fifth, they can survive a 9+ hour flight to the mainland. Sixth, because I do what I want! HCC in Ala Moana is easy to find. This is a kiosk inside a mall but they have all the flavors people should want and need. You can get a variety of flavors in boxes of however many you want...or if you just want a cookie or two for yourself. What's so special about these cookies? They're shortbread cookies which means it has a lot of butter which means they're yummy. Sorry, vegans! They come in an assortment of flavors unique to Hawaii like guava, mango, macadamia, pineapple, coconut, and Kona coffee. I do wish they'd add matcha since Hawaii has a lot of Japanese influence in their food and culture. How it works: grab a box of any size you want to fill, grab whatever flavors you want, the aunties that work here will gladly help you out especially if you have to get multiple boxes, and you pay. I think the best part of HCC is the service. They're always nice, helpful and friendly. My personal favorites are the mango macadamia, dark chocolate Kona coffee, pineapple macadamia, and chocolate dipped macadamia cookies. I would buy all their flavors but I don't eat all of them. This shop is in the Ala Moana food court. The cookies are ok, but with other competing cookie places I can't decide if it's the location that brings the feeling down or something else. It's a standalone kiosk but it feels very noisy and chaotic because the doors open on both sides. I stepped up to browse and immediately I was asked if I needed help. It didn't feel like a friendly hi, it felt like when you are a teenager and the clerk thinks you are going to shoplift. I looked at some of the new holiday cookies and sought out me faves the guava shortbread for example, and then wanted to ask about pricing, and it was hard to get one of the 3 women standing around attention. One was enthusiastically showing everything to 3 Japanese tourists, the other was directing people to the cashier and the 3rd was very good at avoiding eye contact. I took my choices and then walked toward what looked like a cashier line. Then the 3rd clerk woke up and rushed over pointing with open hands telling me to go to the other side of the kiosk to pay. I was confused because clearly the man standing in front of me was paying with a credit card. I said, it's ok, I can wait till he is done. She said, No, you have to pay on the other side.and pointed again with her hands. I stood there, she stood there with her hands pointing. So I reluctantly followed her hands to the other side, to where there were 4 others standing in line. I stood there and the next woman stepped up to pay and I saw the other man leave with his purchases. The next person was not taken to his cashier. We stood there waiting on this one person. The 3rd customer stepped up and paid while the 4th waved over her other 3 friends who had been with the other clerk. I asked the clerk with the hands, why couldn't we pay at the other register? She looked at me like I was dumb and said, you are standing in this line. Since there were now 4 more new customers in front of me, because of the 3 who jumped in, I walked back to the other side while hands lady's back was turned. Nervously I stepped up with my cookies and put them on the counter. Without a word, the woman rang up my purchases and I left. I give it 3 stars because I don't want to penalize the cookies or packaging. But 3 means I will probably go to Big Island or somewhere place like Cookie Corner Does anyone know if they work on commission? It seemed to be the wrong mix of snobbery and inefficiency in their concept. If they want classy maybe they are in the wrong location. read more

I love that they offer free samples of all their cookies. My faves are the Kona Coffee and Dark Chocolate Dipped ones. The cookies are buttery, slightly sweet, flavorful, and have a bite to them. TL;DR: get the dipped cookies or exotic fruit cookies. Only purchase dipped and/or chocolate cookies at the end of your trip so they don't melt in the Hawaiian heat! Costco sells the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies. Parking: street side or a parking garage but you have to walk a ways. Lots of shops on the strip and parking is minimal unless in a garage. Atmosphere: feels like a Bath and Body Works but for cookies and minus the samples. Typical gift shop / souvenir pricing so you can expect to spend a pretty penny here for cookies. I do like how you can customize your own box with whatever flavors you want. They even have tiny boxes of just a few cookies if you want. All the cookies are shortbread with a hint of flavor. My personal favorites are the fruit ones and the chocolate dipped cookies -- they seem to have more flavor. Otherwise they all have that short bread cookie texture and flavor. Chocolate and dipped cookies are not heat resistant and WILL melt if you keep them in your bag or luggage or car. So I recommend buying these at the end of your trip if you plan on gifting these to someone else. That way you aren't gifting a box of melted goods. If you are a big fan of the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies, I suggest you hold onto your wallet here because they sell bags of it at Costco for a much more reasonable price. So you can indulge on a whole bag for yourself rather than having to open 27 individually wrapped cookies, haha. All in all, in my honest opinion, the cookies aren't *that* good. Although HCC has many locations, we came to this one inside the Makai FC at Ala Moana Center because it's easier for parking and easier access after purchasing (didn't want them to melt). We purchased these as gifts to take home. I really like that they have both pre-packaged gift box options and individually wrapped options to build-your-own gift boxes. Since there aren't any free samples due to COVID, my bf & I purchased a few flavors to try off the bat, and were able to sit at the FC tables and try them, then we were able to immediately build our gift boxes. The shortbread cookies itself are good, not too sweet. My bf liked the Matcha Dipped and White Chocolate Coconut. I personally favored the Dark Chocolate Coconut and Guava. Each individual cookie is $1.35, so it can add up quickly...but these are great to bring home as gifts or even a treat for yourself! read more

Boy, were these little cookies expensive at ~$1.30 per cookie. My 5 cookie box box with tax came out to a little over $6. We got guava, mango, pineapple, chocolate filled, and I forget the last one. All cookies were good, but not spectacular to bring back home. However, my favorite cookie in the box was the pineapple cookie. It had a strong enough pineapple flavor in the cookie and the chewy filling. But, I think our Chinese pineapple cakes had more fragrant pineapple flavor in them. I haven't been here in a while and they seem to have more flavors now. I remember liking the guava, but now they have lilikoi, pineapple, and coconut. Some of the cookies are dipped in chocolate and others aren't. It's what you prefer. My cousins don't care for chocolate, so we didn't get any chocolate dipped. They have a variety of boxes that hold different cookie counts. Some sets are already boxed. Others, you can fill yourself with whatever cookie you want. Don't forget to ask for a stamp card.
