Bad experience with office staff, not driver. Extremely rude office staff. Car needed a tow. Geico assigned them. Waited 2 hours on side of road and they didn't show. Finally got in touch with them and the lady in charge of the call/dispatching said... "we haven't decided if we are taking the job...need some photos first". And then said that it will be another 45 minutes or more. When we expressed frustration for the lack of communication over this earlier...she said..."hey if you don't like our service then I will just cancel you right now and you can find someone else". I literally broke down into tears from frustration and was begging her to not cancel. She said "why are you tripping?" and hung up on me while I was still talking. Sad to see all the negative reviews about this company and I was really dreading it when my insurance company mentioned they would be the ones towing my car. Lets fast forward to the response, immediately after my insurance issued a tow request I was immediately contacted (cant remember the guys name) about an estimated arrival. I was given 1 hour but he told me he could have a driver to me within half an hour, even better yet! Siu ( I think thats how u spell his name) called me when he was on his way and amazing communication, unlike others I had before. I informed Siu I needed to pick up my radiator before heading home n Siu was sooo understanding about it. It worked out all so perfect bc he didnt rush to jack my car up n we actually ended up meeting up at the house at the same time and thats even with me picking up my radiator. Altho I didnt have to pay for the tow, I still tipped Siu as he was very professional and their trucks were nice n clean, didnt look like just some random tow company. On January 1, 2023 New Year's Day my husband just passed away in October and so my four year old daughter and I was just leaving my daughter place in Kahului heading home to salt lake. And I drove towards Hawaiian memorial cemetery to drive by just wish my husband a happy new years and as I merged onto the H3 going towards leeward side my car died out right before you get to the first tunnel. I called O'Sung towing for a tow and yes the lady that answered the phone was rude as hell as much as I was trying to give an idea where I was all she kept saying was well not sure where you're at but I can hear the guy telling her that he think he may know where I'm at. He would be going over there and of course they quoted me $476.00 to tow my car from H3 to just Salt Lake.. I have my 4 year old and I really didn't care about the price I just wanted to get us home and off the road. when he got there my daughter and I were in the tow truck and he had hooked up my car and ready to go. Before we could leave he needed the payment first. Not a problem, I was going to have to pay with two different cards and when he said that he cannot take two different cards payments and needs to be one card so I told him ok Let me go ahead and transfer the money from my one bank card to the other card. Not even a minute while I'm trying to get into the system and he says that he has to go he has other calls to take and because I was already frustrated and upset and I told him OK that's fine so he came around open the passenger door to allow me and my daughter to get out of the car and unhook my Car from his tow truck, and left. The whole time I didn't cry but when he left I was in my car holding my daughter and couldn't stop crying. I was crying because of the anger I had to towards this company Thank God for HONOLULU TOWING.... They came and picked up my car and patiently waited for our ride to come and pick me and my daughter up (the tow driver didn't have room in his tow ) not a problem we were able to get my son to come out and pick us up. We got our car towed to the house and because they only accept cash was willing to take me to the ATM machine to get the money out and bring me back home . and the towing I paid was $275.00..... it was 225.00 for the towing and $50 for the drivers tip. And I was happy to even give him a $50 tip. I will never use Osung towing. Your customer service sucks. The people answer phone sucks and only because you are heartless and don't deserve even a star for allowing a little child have to be out cause of your impatience attitude!!! 10/3 Geico sent Honolulu Towing to tow my car out hanging over of a draining ditch at around 6 in the morning. The front plastic shield was resting on a rock (see pictures). I was scheduled for a 830am pickup but the driver Willy got here by 640. My car was in an awkward position and I felt like there was no way for it to get out without damage. Any tow company would understandably receive negative ratings as having your car towed is a costly inconvenience. We live in an association in which one of the towing infractions includes parking on the grass. Us as well as four of our neighbors due to the size of our trucks and the garage ports park where two tires are on the grass. Therefore, I understand the reason for the tow but, when I called and inquired: * Why was our vehicle the only one towed? * How are drivers trained and expected to enforce ALL infractions? Instead of receiving answers, Michelle, the towing representative stated, "I don't appreciate you calling and wasting my time," and she hung up on me. Being that my vehicle was towed by their company, I expect their representatives to answer any questions I have regarding the reason/stipulations/status of the tow.
