I had originally seen a different Urologist from Pomona who would not come to the hospital in early February to help me out when I needed it the most. Sadly, when I met with him 10 days after being in the hospital it was only a consolation. He really did not seem too concerned about the pain I had been going through off and on as he wanted me to go get another ultrasound in two weeks and then another two weeks after that come back to him to see the results and if the issue was still present, we would then schedule for surgery. If Dr. Louie had not fit me in, I would have still been waiting for my procedure if I had have stayed with this other Doctor. Dr. Louie is awesome and I want him to know that I am grateful that he fit me into his schedule to address my issue. When Dr. Louie opens up his new location his new patients will be in good hands. He was very gentle and nice at my first visit. I had overactive bladder and incontingence . Dr.K. Louie did all kind of treatment including Urodynamics and Botox but not success after all. Finally he recommended "RESUME"technick which is the REZUM procedure destroys prostate tissue using heat energy in the form of water vapor(even though he did not have enough experience of RESUME procedure). He started RESUME procedure on 09-12-2019. and I'm still having pain and hard to urinate.I could'nt go to sleep for 3 days(not even a twinkle of eye) I 'd called office because of pain and swelling of bladder right after removed catheter and he was out of town. he even did not prescribe antibiotics and pain pill after procedure. He'd prescribed only "Urinary Pain Relief"(you can buy over the count) I went to ER for twice for bladder swelling and pain(because of dysuria). Because of his negligence I'd been suffered for many months. I was(used to be) also a healthcare provider(that's why I did'nt go to court because I know what it is for him and practice). I have to put catheter almost several months. End of that I had severe "Epididymitis"(huge swelling of scrotum) But I have to let them know and all pertinent patients to know that no other patient should be suffered like me afterward. I'm going to put this on SNS also in future.

Dr. Shaw made me feel confident about the procedure and prepped me both mentally and physically for it. On surgery day he checked in and again I felt he was the best doctor for this procedure. Everything went exceptionally well. I followed his instructions and had no issues. No infection, or ugly scarring. Of course there was pain during recovery but I just kept working with the in house physical therapy team which I also highly recommend and kept my follow up appointments. Matthew Frydendall is awesome he took the time to really listen to my concerns and always made me feel like my care and recovery were of utmost importance. Both Esther and Melissa at the from desk were extremely helpful and always brought a smile to my face when I interacted with them. This was a difficult journey but I'm to a point in my recovery where I can see how this entire process has dramatically improved my quality of life now and for many years to come. I can't imagine having to go through knee replacement without this phenomenal doctor and his entire team!! I highly recommend Dr. Shaw, Matthew, and the entire team at AO in Chino Hills. PS. Dr. Wang and his office staff made me feel very welcome, comfortable, and relaxed from the moment I arrived. What pleased me most is that Dr. Wang is also a cardiologist, which is a tremendous bonus for me. He took the time to thoroughly review my medications and provided highly professional, patient, and detailed guidance regarding my heart condition, including treatment, recovery, diet, and exercise. He also carefully addressed several other health concerns I brought up, explaining preventive measures and treatment options in a clear and thoughtful manner. I am extremely satisfied with my experience. I can only say that I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Wang. I highly recommend Dr. Wang, especially for Chinese-speaking patients seeking a knowledgeable, caring, and professional physician.

The front desk staff and management appear disorganized, and basic communication is severely lacking. I experienced confusion, delays, and a complete lack of accountability. She's been with him since she was 18. She also feels completely comfortable with him. Dr.Kassar has done a few surgeries on me which were done at Foothill Press Hospital in Glendora. Yesterday I had bladder surgery of course done by Kassar but this time at the surgical center behind his office. I'd like to say the staff there is outstanding. Jasmine was my nurse. She was great! Jasmine was super friendly, My anxiety was through the roof. I'm the biggest chicken when it comes to needles. She did a great job on my IV. She paid close attention to everything I had to say with all my concerns. She really explained everything thoroughly and made sure I understood. She continuously checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. She's a huge asset to this surgical center. For the life of me I can not remember the lady's name who was my anesthesiologist but she was great. Very personable and also explained everything thoroughly. She could tell my anxiety was high and gave me medicine through my IV to help me out. It made me relax and feel 100x better...She talked me through everything all the way up to when I went to sleep. She did my IV before my surgery and didn't actually get a vein, I told her my arm was getting swollen and she said it was fine. I flagged down a guy nurse who was about to wheel me in, I told him it didn't feel right, he looked and his eyes widened immediately. (edit: he was actually the anesthesiologist now that I remember) He told the nurse she was wrong and didn't get a vein, they had to start a new one. You could tell his frustration with her was a constant thing. Fast forward, my aunt had surgery here about a month ago. What do you guess happened.... SAME SITUATION, SAME NURSE. I think it is ridiculous, she is rude and has the worst bedside manners for a nurse to begin with but she's also not good at her job. This is a scary thing for us undergoing surgery and she tries to act like little mistakes happen & while yes I understand they do, this is just toooo coincidental for me. Two people, same family, years apart. Scary. Anyways, not to scare people but just want to inform people. Advocate for yourself. Don't let this nurse gaslight you. It's your life & your body!
