My favorite little spot around the corner! The best boba in the area/city hands down. I was drinking a lot of bubble tea and concluded that I didn't want to just drink crappy hard boba or watered down drinks - this is the real deal. All of their fruit tea style drinks are great - especially the hibisicus. But my favorites are the milk teas. Thai, Lavender Milk, Green Thai, Coconut, house, are all great and some of my favorites. I'm pretty sure I've paid the rent here at least one month from my frequency. They don't have as many options as some typical spots and the don't have all the toppings like a crystal boba, a cheese foam topping, or grass jelly. So if that's the experience enough want you might be disappointed - I still say it's the best spot in the closest 5 ish miles - not going into Cerritos or Rowland Heights. read more

You don't really understand the need of diversity till you find yourself in a place with only a few flavors. Whittier has yet to define itself as very diverse. Agua Fresca is easier to find than milk teas and that's hard for someone who loves a great milk tea, both hot and cold. That's when I visited this place for the first time I was skeptical but optimistic. It paid off in spades. Interior - 4 stars The interior feels like walking into a little kid's room. Immediately the pastel colors and floral motif makes you think this place would work well for a kid's tea party but the more you stay the quainter it gets and the more you start to enjoy the vibe. It is small, filled with various chairs and tables, and half of it is just the counter but it works. It's comfortable and when I think of it now I wouldn't mind being here on a rainy day writing some poetry in the soft lights. It grows on you. Service - 4 stars The person who makes your drink is also usually the person who takes your orders. I've been here several times now and have only see one person working each time. They're friendly, no sass, and I just want to high five or cuddle them. That's weird but I like it. Drinks - 5 stars I really like their drinks. Not too sweet and not too bland it's just right. I've had this quality of drinks before at tea shops who charge much more than here. That's a great sign for the place. My favorites have to be the Passion Paradise iced tea (sweet, tropical, balanced, refreshing) and the Fruity Pebbles milkshake (like your childhood in drink form). Such an aesthetically pleasing place!! From the colorful drinks to the interior decor to the music, this would be a great place to study and meet up with friends. Skyfall, how they described it, is like the milk you drink at the end of eating cereal and can be really sweet. At first we got less sweet but tasted better after getting some sweetener added. We came in today and the girl behind the counter greeted me as soon as we walked in she was really friendly and she explained that the croissants are made in house with an Italian recipe. Best boba and drinks in town! The first time I came here, the lady behind the register greeted us and waited patiently while we read the menu which was filled with lots of goodies! I decided to go with my go-to drink which is a thai tea with boba. The people I was with chose taro tea with boba and a strawberry banana smoothie with boba. Long story short, we have been back a numerous amount of times. I'm usually very picky with boba since some places start off really good then eventually don't cook the boba all the way through or over cook it, but Corner Place has not done so! Went midday on a Saturday. Parking is available. Right now they are only offering take out. No outside seating. The place has a cute vibe. It didn't feel super clean. Needed a sweeping and moping. The menu is extensive for drink choices and they have some munchies as well. I had a mango smoothy which was delicious. My friend ordered a tea with boba. She had never had boba before and they offered her a free taste - which is great customer service. For covid, they do have hand sanitizer and social distancing markers on the floor. Like just an overwhelming flavor of BURNT/over-extracted espresso. That's all we could taste and didn't drink more than three sips. We had already left the parking lot or else we would have gone back and asked for them to be remade.
