The blackened bleu burger with bleu cheese crumbles with hot sauce is where it's at. I got mine well done, but it was literally the juiciest well done burger I have ever had. The carrot cake is my absolute favorite from there. The cashier was helpful with questions we had about the menu. It took about 25 mins for our carry out to be ready. But it's so worth the wait. The restaurant had a decent amount of people in there. The vibe was nice.

I used to go to Hooligans back in the 90's but hadn't heard a thing about it lately. I was kind of surprised to learn it was still open, so we decided to give it a try. On a rainy Friday there was nothing going on outside, but probably 60% of the tables inside were full, the bar was thumping and people were having a good time for sure. Our server was covering a lot of tables so the service wasn't fast, but she was trying to cover everyone so we just relaxed, had a beer and ordered some food. This place is a bar. It was loud, people were drinking and having fun. Don't go here for a quiet evening or expecting more than a neighborhood place that serves drinks and food. Big menu to choose from, we split an order of the stuffed banana peppers, some wings and a Philly cheesesteak. The banana peppers are like a huge fried cheese stick with banana pepper heat. Delicious! The wings were very good. They have the option of breaded or naked and we tried 5 of each. I like both. The breading on the breaded version was not too heavy. Just enough to add a little extra crunch. The hot and spicy garlic sauces were both good. The cheesesteak will not convince anyone to move here from Philly, but it was a very tasty sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed this visit to Hooligans, a change of pace from our normal rotation.

A great spot just across the river from downtown Cincy, we often start here before walking across the bridge for an event or game. True Irish pub with all your Irish favorites on tap and you can rent out the upstairs space for events. The food is delicious and the service is always amazing and super kind people. Can't recommend Mollys enough if you are looking for a great place to hangout with friends and watch a game or two.

We got there at around 9:10 and were first offered a seat inside but it was so loud in there the hostess couldn't hear what we were saying and vice versa, so we got a spot on the patio. Our sever was very nice, but service was VERY slow for a Sunday night. She told us they were busy the night before because of a conference and they were still in town that day, so the bar inside was busy. After ordering our drinks it took about 15 minutes to get them, and she didn't even take our food order when she came back despite us being ready. We waited, no problem. We ordered a 'Spice Bag' and it was decent but took about 25 minutes to get to us despite being potatoes and onions in a bag. For 40 minutes we waited for our food and when it came out it was terrible. I ordered the Fish and Chips and Caesar Salad to share and both were mediocre at best and inedible at worst. If you come here: DO NOT GET THE FISH AND CHIPS. They were battered nicely, but aside from that the fish didn't feel fully cooked and tasted like nothing, with a hint of dirty water. The tartar sauce seemed homemade, but didn't have any flavour. The coleslaw was boring and watery, with no flavour. Our server never checked up on us during the meal, so I never got the chance to ask for something else, so I was just stuck with the fries it came with. I know what good fish and chips should taste like and it's not that. Others ordered the curry and the wings and seemed to enjoy it, which is nice. However, 30 minutes after placing our order we were told that the kitchen "ran out of rice" and they asked us what we would like to replace it. When the curry came out, it was missing the naan but again, server never came to check on us so we didn't notice until the end of our meal. Overall, it's a cute place that feels Irish, but service is slow and food is terrible. Our server was lovely and it wasn't her fault that she was busy with tables, but management should be doing more when they know there's a conference in town to set their servers up for success.
