I guess the only positive is that it is easily the nicest looking Hooters I've ever been to. Doesn't look anything like the typical location. While the quality of the food doesn't significantly change from location to location, the service at this location is almost laughable. Was there New Years Day and while there were a few tables occupied, it was far from "busy." I ordered a BYOB and fries. My daughter had the boneless wings and fries. Nothing special. However, it still took almost an hour to get our food! I will say, our server Bria was very attentive and apologized twice for our food taking forever. This is the second time I have gone to this location, and both times the service was just brutal. On my last visit, I tried the Mahi Mahi tacos. The special sauce made them more delicious. At one point, my waitress came by and asked if I needed more sauce. She didn't mention there was an extra cost so I said yes. Considering that it was included with my meal, I assumed it would be free. When I received my check, I noticed that they charged me 89 cents for the extra sauce. If I'd have known that, I wouldn't have accepted it. On a previous visit, I noticed they charged 69 cents for ranch dressing and celery. After I use up my gift card, I'll probably start going back to Buffalo Wild Wings, Tilted Kilt or Taco Mac. They do not charge extra for any of the items mentioned above. Plus, they are closer to my home. read more

Horrible service from the beginning. One of the hostess was running and jumping around like a chicken with her head cut off just for fun and once we were seated our drink order was taken. My boyfriend ordered an alcoholic beverage and I ordered a soft drink. My drink came quicker of course, it's an easy pour. But my boyfriend waited about 15 minutes to get his first drink. Not only did his drink get neglected but so did he through the whole service he got ignored and overlooked. She never took his menu and failed to ask if he wanted another drink. And to add on top of allll of that the place was not very clean at all for a relatively new establishment. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Hooters but when in Rome....my husband was in the mood for wings so we stopped in. It's pretty much your typical Hooters but nicer because it's new. The service needs some work but hopefully in time the gals working there will get better. The new smoked wings are fantastic, although my husband and dad like the original Hooters wings better. We went to the Mall of Georgia Hooter's which has been newly remodeled and is very open and inviting. Plenty Of TV's to watch your favorite sports. We started with the king of rings and they were great served steaming hot. They were the best we have had in a long time. I got the smoked wings with the Habanero garlic rub and they were meaty, juicy and excellent. My Husband got boneless lemon pepper wings he said were a bit greasy and could us more lemon pepper flavor but said they were tender. The only problems were when we got the bIll, the server forgot to take off the coupons. I got it free for being a biz agent. Then when she took off the coupons she rang up someone else's total on our credit card. She did reverse the amount and then rang up the correct amount. read more

My husband and I went to the Hooters at the Mall of Ga in Buford to try the new smoked wings since we were given the opportunity to try these through a coupon in return for a review. I was a bit unsure if I would like them since I only usually enjoy fried wings. But I was willing to give it a shot. My husband doesn't enjoy spice so he tried the wings with a BBQ rub and I tried the jerk rub. We didn't try the other wing rub called garlic habanero. I have to say the wings were crispier than I thought they would be. But overall, I think I still enjoy the fried wings more. My husband thought they were a bit spicy. I love spice and they were ok paired with the buffalo sauce. The wings were tender and we both enjoyed the smoked flavor of the wings. I would try the habanero flavor next time since I love spice and it might be paired better with the buffalo sauce which is an all time favorite. We both ate all 10 of ours although my husband eats to the bone. I usually only pick off the outside of the meat. read more

Walked in at noon on a Sunday when they opened and waited a few minutes to be seated, it didn't seem like the staff was attentive or cared at first, as the cooks could clearly see us but made no attempt to have a hostess or waitress seat us. This location was new, clean, and open. There wasn't a large crowd and we were seated right away. It all went south from there. Slower than slow service, hair in the food, management that could care less, and the server who was just glad it wasn't her hair. It was freezing cold in the place and we were sat at a high table even though we had children and booths and tables were available. The wings were meh. The ranch dressing and sweet tea were the only thing I would order again. If I could give zero stars I would. My wife, son and myself stopped in for dinner. We ordered two appetizers...fried pickles and the buffalo chicken dip. The dip arrived in about twenty minutes and was cold. Bleh! The pickles cane out ten minutes after that and the server said the kitchen ruined the first batch. We ordered our meals...wife had naked hot wings, boy had Daytona wings with General sauce. I ordered baha tacos. Server came back and said the kitchen was confused about the Daytona wings and we had to pull the menu out to show the server what was ordered. Tea refills were non existent and server had attitude when I finally flagged her down. Food was wayyyyyy late coming out and was luke warm at best. Not coming back. read more

Went to the new Hooters at Mall of Ga on 11-27-15. Husband ordered the Tex Mex Nachos for 8.99. VERY disappointed, there was MAYBE 2 tablespoons of chili on a plate full of chips and we LITERALLY had to dig around to find the cheese, which was about 1 tablespoon of it. I spoke with our waitress and she went to the kitchen to try to get more toppings but was informed we would have to pay more for extra toppings. I ordered the mild, breaded wings, they were on the soggy side and NO celery. It seems they would want to impress their customers, since this is a new restaurant, with better food. Needless to say we will not return and word of mouth can be your best or in this case WORST form of advertising. They do have a small gift shop. read more

I've had way better Lemon Pepper wings at other places. They definitely need to change their recipe from a dry rub to a semi wet so the seasoning sticks. Service was as expected and the drinks were pretty good. Change your recipe and I'll be back. read more

Went today and its a good location. One of the best Hooters I've been to. Kaela was my server. She is gorgeous, friendly and a good server.

I was very excited to try this new location because it looked very nice on the outside. It was a total let down when we got inside. There were only a couple other tables in there since it was 2pm. The waitress took forever to get to our table to take our drink orders. We went ahead and gave her our food orders at the same time to speed things along. I had ordered boneless wings and they were soaked. It seemed like there was water mixed in with the hot buffalo sauce. There was no crispness to them at all. My husbands came out good but mine were depressing. I have been a huge fan of hooters for at least 10 years and have never had this happen. There was one crispy thing on my plate by my wings, which I thought was an overcooked fry covered in buffalo sauce since I had the wingsday platter. I was excited because I love well done fries. When I put it in my mouth it was definitely not a fry... It was a burnt shrimp tail! I almost threw up once I crunched it. I didn't have time to complain or send them back. Even if I had wanted to I wouldn't have been able to because she never came out from the back since we were her only table. The location I go to in Roswell is always great, so I will continue going there and not visit this location again. read more

I went to a Hooters for the second time in life, this time to try the new smoked wings that they're testing in Atlanta. I got a coupon for 10 free wings from BzzAgent and I went for the Texas BBQ. In general, I'm not a wings person. A lot of mess and a lot of work to get like two small bites of chicken from a flat (I don't dig on the drumettes). I was more than pleasantly surprised with the size of the wings. It was a LOT of food, to the point I only ate 5 of the 10 wings. We had started with some fried pickles, but it's not like those are super filling. As for the taste, I loved it. There was a definite tang to it, but also some sugary taste. They were delicious and best of all, lower in fat, salt and calories than the regular wings! My friend also got 10 wings, but he got it with one of their original sauces (I don't remember which one). He also enjoyed his very much and also didn't finish his. We took them home and he ate both sets the next day. Our waitress was very nice, but very busy as we went on a Friday night. read more

I just came in with my aunt to eat and she ordered the buffalo sandwich with medium sauce and when they brought it out it had barbecue sauce so we sent it back and waited....and waited....until finally we decided to leave so we asked our sever for the check cause we didn't want to wait any longer and she said they were bringing it out to us and we just didn't want to wait so we told them just to bring the check and the manager came out and told us he was going to put it in a box and give it to us so the waitress brought it out to us and we left not thinking to check the box and they gave us the COMPLETELY WRONG SANDWICH!!!! They gave us a grilled chicken sandwich with Curley fries not even tater tots like we ordered. The sever never even came back to our table we hand to flag down the manager just to tell them the food was wrong!! I don't understand why there is so much miscommunication over one sandwich!! The kitchen manager was very nice though but it sucks that she paid 22 dollars for food she couldn't even eat! I have never seen her not leave a tip but I don't think she did this time! read more

My husband and I received coupons for 10 free wings as part of a promotion from the brand. So we thought we would go Saturday for lunch. We were very disappointed in the wings. They had more breading on them then they had meat. I had to take off most of the skin b/c there was just so much of it. We got lemon pepper and it seemed to have a little to much pepper for my taste. My husband and I went to this Hooters for lunch and to try the new smoked wings. The restaurant was clean and pretty empty for that time of day. The server was nice, but man does the food take forever to come out! I tried the jerk flavor smoked wings with a coupon I for for 10 free wings thanks to BzzAgent and Hooters. My husband also had regular wings, in hot sauce. We got down the the bottom of our drinks and out server never came back to refill them, so that was eh. Overall, the food I've had has been really good, but the servers could use a little refresher on prompt service, especially when the restaurant is dead. Met some friends today at hooter's, we had the worst waitress of all times. Food was good but this girl couldn't get anything right. We counted at least 10 different things she did wrong , another waitress brought some of our food to the table and while passing the food over the table had very bad body odor. We will go back but just a warning if you are going for the hooter's go somewhere else. Management needs to keep a better eye on the girls instead of just walking around. We have been to this location before with our family and really liked the food (although the prices are a bit high to make it a regular stop for us!) and the atmosphere was ok for taking our kids. Our waitress on this trip was super nice and accommodating which was good because we had a rather large group. We went to try the new Smoked Wings and she was very informative about the rub flavors and sauce, which we all really enjoyed. We had the manager come by at one point to check on us which was really nice to know they are taking an investment in their restaurant. We will definitely be back to this location. I've GOT to give this place a thumbs up! Hard to believe some of the negative posts, but then most people don't review a place if it was good - just when they have a complaint. Every time my husband and I come here, we are immediately greeted with a smile, taken to a table, and within just a few minutes are welcomed by our server. The large beer selection is awesome (my husband is more venturous in trying new beers), and the food has always been delicious! We especially like the Buffalo flavored wings with the Daytona sauce, and the salads I have eaten have always been fresh and really good. The fries have been great each time, especially the ones with cheese. Oh, by the way - we've never found the place dirty - the bathroom was even clean, and you know how some people are disgustingly disrespectful by not cleaning up after themselves. So I don't always blame the management for bathrooms (especially at movie theaters). So we have to give this place a 5-star rating and are glad it's at the Mall of GA, as that is where we shop. read more
