I was torn on this review because everyone there was very friendly. Nice location. The food was just OK. The menu is good with different choices but it was very greasy and heavily fried. Not very flavorful. Just mediocre really. I wouldn't go back. I did have a great time with my adult kids playing music bingo! Overall good experience but the food isn't good. Wednesday night is BOGO wing night. We went with a group of 6. Didn't have to wait too long. Probably a dozen wing flavors. My favorite is the house and the honey siracha. They have $6 Long Island ice teas that are great. A regular go to in Buford. read more

We had a dinner meal at Friends 33 Buford Village Way. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Although it was relaxed the service did not suffer. Our appetizers were on our table quickly. Our drinks were kept refilled. When our meals came out they smelled delicious and they tasted delicious. We shared some bites of others meals and everything tasted great. We've been going to Friends in Buford for years now and I haven't Guly recommend it. I usually order their Cobb Salad and I get 3 meals out of it! Their wings are pretty good as well, and were from Buffalo. We've also had some large groups for lunch on the weekenda as well as playing Trivia, and never had any issues with service or food. Someone at the bar even had the bartender leave & go get food somewhere else to bring it back for him while I was in a hurry waiting for food. I got my food to go, once I had my 1st wing I realized they were so hard. After waiting for food to go for over 20 min i wasn't going back to argue about my 20$ meal for one person. Friends- your management and policies have really declined. You're now charging your customers a service fee for using a card! The food, although usually consistently good, is overpriced already! The timing of food from the kitchen has been off. And the mystery manager is always hiding in the back. I had a simple request that I was willing to pay for and the manager said no, not our policy. Our server Mallory was great very sweet the reason for the low score because this restaurant is cheap and when you're cheap I worry about you using cheap ingredients and cutting corners. I gave Friends grill another try because I'm a forgiving and optimistic person. Stupid me! Should have learned my 2 star lesson. Ordered 10 wings for $16 which was a little cray cray to begin with. They were the absolute worst wings I ever had. So over cooked you could hear from the other room when I bit into one. It rivals the other vegan burger, the Impossible Burger, that other local restaurants carry, but I believe this is the only restaurant that carries the Beyond Burger in the area so if you prefer that vegan burger then this a your spot!
