WOW Hooters has changed since I helped open the first one in Louisville I went in on Halloween. No smiles the waitress was all business "do you need a minute or what can I get you". I didn't even find out her name until I looked at the check I ordered the Tuesday special (hamburger and fries). The burger had no flavor. And I asked for well done fries and I couldn't even find ONE crispy fry in the bunch The music sucked (we used to have fun music like the Beach Boys). Not once did I see a girl sit down at a table with a customer and talk to them (and believe me it wasn't busy). This place is trash. It was empty at 7pm on a Thursday. That should have been a red flag. We ordered from a delivery app and the food they sent was so bad I drove to the restaurant to complain. When I got there the manager refused to address my complaint and instead threatened to call the police. She said her Regional manager told her to. So Mr. David Bosma regional manager this review is for you. I've contacted the Hooters CEO Terrance Marks (tmarks@hooters.com) to ask why they would not address a lifetime customer's complaint. 06/29/20 Original Review for 4's: Very nice Hooters, clean & well organized. Had three different wings, Three Mile Island all drums extra crispy. Daytona all drums. Smoked with Jerk seasoning all drums. All three flavors were very good - the cooks nailed all of them! And the drums for the Three Mile Island were some of the biggest I've ever had - delicious! We got the loaded tots as an appetizer & were totally dissatisfied with them. Almost no cheese, onions or bacon on them, so I'd suggest you skip wasting money on them. The bartendress was the sweetest thing & really excelled at providing great service. Overall, it was a great experience, except for the tots which cost then a star in the review. 8/1/21 Update for 5's: Back again meeting a buddy for a few post COVID post vaccination adult beverages. I've been to a ton of Hooters all across the country & today's were no joke the best I've ever had! I ordered original breaded, extra crispy, all drums, Three Mile Island & wow were they they delivered spot on! This iteration of TMI was just enough to get the sinuses moving, the breading was exceptional, & the overall taste was a delight. Honestly, I don't know what happened to Hooters. It's so disappointing! I'm super selective about my nachos because they are so good! These have always been a favorite, but this is absolutely unacceptable. Unless something changes with their management, I won't be back. We actually received a gift card because the app messed up and removed the money. I was supposed to get chili on these nachos and it was not included. As you can see it's a mess and there's little cheese. Not to mention the wings are so much smaller and my husband swears the sauce is way different. Stopped in to watch the Lakers game and grab some wings. Food was decent, service not so much. Bartender spent most of her time talking with a gentleman..unfortunately didn't get refills or attentive service as a result. If you elect to order curly fries I'd recommend getting them extra crispy as mine appeared to be barely cooked. I used to work at a Hooters, so I know how great it can be. Our server tried her damndest, but with the Manager standing around, she was busy. Only two girls working the entire place, including the bar. The kitchen did well, the food was good. The manager didn't even know table numbers when he finally decided to run some food. STOP! PLEASE READ... If you love Hooters like I do, I beg you with all of my heart to NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION. A stop in CLarksville will forever change your option of this overall great franchise as a whole. What was once one of my favorite stores (45 mile drive from home) OH HOW THE MIGHT HAVE FALLEN... I'll spare you details of my visit a couple of weeks ago, short staffed on a Saturday, terrible food, etc. after which I emailed the store/website to which I received no response. Fast forward to Saturday 11/2/19... I swear to god it can't get worse than this... sat at the bar, waited about 10 minutes to be acknowledged as several servers walked past on their god damn phones, talking to locals, laughing, etc. In this amount of time I saw what were clearly regulars obnoxiously laugh way too loud as they discussed such clever things as not showering daily and leaving their wives for the attentive crowd of girls behind the bar who clearly know these guys well. The bartender/server who did finally stop and talk to us had been gracious enough to be blessed with an upcoming child... she chose a right light pink night shirt as her Halloween costume with no less than a black thong underneath which was no noticeably visible that Ray Charles would have seen it, needless to say my wife was less than impressed. After telling her we had earned a free appetizer via the mobile app based on visits she told us she wasn't sure how to redeem that and she'd have to ask someone. The pretzel bites and cold cheese came about 20 minutes later along with our entree even after asking her to stagger the food. I asked for HOT, FRESH, WELL DONE FRIES.... we got cold, limp fries as usual that we immediately sent back to no apology, this order while perfect came out after we had finished the sliders.... wait til you hear about these. The 2 burger sliders were toast, I mean BURNT, no mustard unlike every other Damn Hooters in the USA, no pickle and while I don't know how it la possible, cold. The 2 chicken sliders had the equivalent of a McDonalds nugget on a bun. The beers glasses were warm, not room temperature, like straight out of the dishwasher warm which ruined the otherwise cold beer. We ate what we could and left a small tip, never saw a manager, never received an apology, never was thanked for coming... THIS IS NOT A REAL HOOTERS. My wife and I love Hooters, and we visit any one of the local restaurants on a pretty regular basis. We've been here numerous times before and had great service. This time, however, was not absolutely stellar. In fact, it was actually pretty minimal. On a Saturday afternoon the restaurant was pretty busy. Not remarkably, wall-to-wall busy, but busy. We walked in about 3:30 in the afternoon and had to wait to be seated. Not a couple minutes, either, but well over five minutes just to be seated. We were then greeted by our server. She said "My name is Ashley", but she had a name tag on that said Reagan. I jokingly said "No your name is Reagan! ", and she said that she had Reagan's name tag on. We laughed. We actually know Reagan because she has waited on us on previous visits. She then took our drink orders and we told her we wanted the fried pickles appetizer. Ashley/Reagan went and got our drinks and brought them back, then took our entrée orders. After this point our service reached the "absolute minimum" phase. We've been to this location numerous times and we know that the food delivery isn't the fastest. They're not going to win any speed records, but the food is always good and always accurate. The restaurant update looks great and lends itself to When our appetizer came out and was delivered by Ashley, it wasn't so much "delivered" as it was "dropped off on her way by". By that, I mean she walked by and dropped them off at the table without even breaking stride and without saying a single word. About two-thirds through our appetizer our entrées were ready. This time she at least stopped long enough to drop the food off on the way to wherever else she was headed. The food was delivered hot and accurate (when I order their Tex-Mex Nachos I always order them without lettuce), and it was very good. When I mentioned the "absolute minimum" amount of service, that's exactly what we got. When it came to drink refills we had to flag Ashley down. Normally at Hooters the server will spend a few minutes conversing with each table. There was absolutely none of that. There was no personal interaction at all, just the machinations of a server doing her job. After our meals were complete the orange dessert paddle wasn't brought by and we weren't asked if we wanted dessert or anything else. We asked for two iced teas to go, but she brought us sweet tea instead of unsweet. She fixed this and brought our check to the table and dropped it off...again, no conversation or pleasantries. Being fans of Hooters, we know what the normal level of service is like. This was not that. We'll be back to this location because we love Hooters brand. We just won't any praises about our service experience from this visit. So, here's the deal. I live in a house of men. Sexy Beast and the Spawn would never point blank admit that they like this place because it's all jiggly and giggly. That's the only reason I can possibly imagine that they like it. They can't possibly really enjoy the food. Sexy Beast keeps ordering the Fried Pickles but rarely eats more than a couple of them. Spawn A seems to think that I will believe that the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich is worthy of his mastication. Spawn B swears that the wings are great. He even insists that "Wing Wednesday" (or some such nonsense) when you can eat all the wings ever brutally snipped from the poor cluckers out back for a measly $15 is likely the best thing ever invented. They all used to be able to convince me to participate in their self-deception with the promise of a rather tasty grilled Mahi Mahi sandwich. Someone in the corporate office decided that providing an edible menu offering would detract from the "delightfully tacky" aura of the joint. They've dumped it back into the sea. I tried the "other" fish sandwich. It was not nearly as tasty. I didn't like it. The best part of this place is the fact that the giggly jigglies will surround your table on your birthday and sing inane birthday songs to you. The Spawn pretend to hate it. They get all blushy and pretend to be pissed off about it. But, I think it makes them feel like Trailer Park Hugh Hefners and they love it. So, because I love the men in my life, I tolerate this ridiculousness periodically. read more

Will not be eating here again. Ordered 2 burgers, both were wrong. One was a byob, just with chili. We got it with no chili and it had cheese, bacon, and tomatoes. I took my son to this location yesterday for his 10th birthday. He and my daughter split the 20 piece boneless bbq wings and I used my coupon for free 10 shrimp for myself. We also shared the fried pickles and I had a nice cold draft. The food was hot and as tasty as usual. The waitress was super nice and she rounded up the other ladies to sing their version of the birthday song to my son. He had a great birthday and had enough wings and pickles and cake to take home for later. He never could understand how the waitress knew it was his birthday. We went to Hooters for my birthday in January 2023. The food was terrible. The fish tacos were greasy. I went to wash my hands and RUINED my brand new True Religion jeans. The sink apparently had straight pure bleach sprayed all over it. I told Management. Of course she gave me a dirty look and mumbled something and told MD it wasn't her problem and I needed to call corporate. Not only did I get sh*tty food, my clothes got ruined and so did my birthday. All because of someone's stupidity with bleach. Decided to go here to watch some sports on tv while eating lunch... Not a good experience, server was ok but it took way to long to get the taco salad I ordered (per the reco of the server). Several tables around me were waiting as well so there is a kitchen issue (should have looked at Yelp prior to coming as this seems to me a trend.) My biggest beef though is that the taco salad was terrible...lettuce bad, instead of a taco shell bowl they give u 6 greasy chips, the ranch dressing was watered down....it just was bad ($10.49). Am from NYC, and with all the restaurants and dinning we have there I surly know what's a good place and what's not so good. I have traveled the states and been to many hooters but this one is the least impressive one. I don't know if it's because not much people are here today but all the stuff members (servers) look like they are all just hanging out and flirting with the guys other than paying attention and seeing that we just walked in and have been waiting to be seated for about 5 mins so far. I go here with my BF who LOVES the wings (I am sure among other things...hee hee). I have gotten to where I crave the boneless wings and the buffalo shrimp. The also have a very tasty Ceasar salad. I like to sit close enough to watch my food being prepared. It is pretty obvious that the waitresses are there to cater to the men, and I get a kick out of watching all that play out. Our most recent visit left me with a mixed review. The boneless wings were the best I have ever had there, whereas, the shrimp was probably the worst. They were "soggy". Almost like they were dropped in oil that wasn't quite hot enough. I am not a beer fan, but I do like the Clearwater Punch (daquiri). The appetizers are 1/2 price after 10 pm Mon - Fri., which is when we usually go, so the price is right! read more

If you're concerned about the virus spread, don't eat here!!!! Yes they spread out the tables but that's pretty much the extent of their bow to the virus. Most of the servers walk around with their masks tucked beneath their chins so that their mouths and noses are out. The same is true with one of the cooks. The other cook that I could see didn't even bother to wear a mask at all. The same was true with the manager. He came to our table and bent down to talk with us and there was no mask in sight. As for the food, mediocre would be a compliment. We ordered fried pickles that were very chewy. I had no idea pickles could be chewy. The manager re-cooked them because he thought the heavy breading was the issue. The second batch was better but still a little chewy. I think the pickles were just old and stale. This is our first visit since the virus but they can't blame the quality on the virus. It was like this even before. My boyfriend likes the burgers so we've been there 4 or 5 times. I've never been impressed with anything I've had there and they typically have to re-cook at least one thing on our order. All in all I don't recommend eating there at all. read more

Service at the clarksville indiana location sucks ladies working are rude even when you have patience after food took over an hour. Dined in with my parents and family we all got our food after an hour except for my daughter's. After patiently waiting I asked nicely one of the servers to please check if her food was ready. Our server came out of no where getting loud with an attitude saying that it wasn't her food that was at the window and that we needed to wait. I than got angry because of her tone and told her she needed to watch her attitude she proceeded to say no and that she was the only server (which there were more but no sure if they were on or not) she then brought the steaming hot plate to the table in front of my daughter's face and said here take it so you can burn your self and I said No you can put it down and go get me a manager. She was very nasty about the situation manager didn't do anything about the situation but boxed our food and close our check. This is so disgusting I came to get some wings 08/19/2022 and Night Shift kitchen doesn't even have gloves on while making burgers making all the food and cross contaminating the food this is fist and last time I even found a cockroach on the wall of the bar servers are nice but this place and nasty and will never come back ever again. Nice place, great wings. Go Wednesday for bottomless wings and get your hog on. The waitresses are very friendly, some are smart, some make you wonder how they remember to breath. Most of them are hot, very hot. I prefer the boneless wings, medium, but the boned ones are great too. The chili cheese fries are yummy as well! The wings are hot and right out of the fryer, so good. We go here or a Hooters in Louisville about once a month. If they had free wifi, we'd be there more often. read more

But last night's chicken wings I received on the other hand, were deplorable. They tasted like they were made hours ago, and were soaked in grease. I took them home and they were even worse left overs. So bad in fact, it gave both me and my dog intestinal troubles. A couple are reasonably nice, most see you as an annoyance to chatting amongst themselves, being on their phones or the countless tired old regulars who couldn't raise a decent tip between them.
