Everything was spot on at this Chili's. The food was delicious, hot and plentiful! Thr service was top tier. I was really impressed with the detail from our server and our needs. We were very needy which is unusual for us, but the server was attentive to our every need and had a smile and willingness the entire time. Pulled up to get some food for a quick meetup. We ordered to go and used the To Go parking. The parking lot was clearly marked for those getting to go. Besides that the lot had quite a few cars of patrons enjoying the restaurant. We ordered medley of items to include the new honey chipotle mozzarella sticks, burgers, fries and bbq wing. While it hasn't been our first pick in a long time for reasons that are probably snobbish and unfair, if you've not been to Chili's in a while, I highly recommend checking it out. In a world where you'd have to spend close to $20 ea at McD's for not even a similar amount of food, much better options for two for not a lot more money would be a Classic Rib Eye, with loaded baked potato and broccoli for $24, and a Steak, Chicken, and (pictured) the Shrimp Fajita Trio plate with Rice, Beans with a generous side of avocado, cheddar cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, limes and flour tortillas for the same price. Both were generous, perfectly prepared, and delicious. I'm a chef. I'm fussy. I can make it better myself at home or work, but I like to go out and have someone else make my food sometimes. This did not disappoint in any form. I can't tell you when I've had a meal out in the last year that made us as happy as this did without costing a fortune, and this location, with its clean and homey atmosphere, did it right. I had ordered buffalo wings in store to go. First, I noticed 5 uncovered pitchers of ice tea. Flies/insects can get in there. If workers see the flies, they will probably fish it out and still serve it, and if they do not see it, then a customer will get a fly in their ice tea. Please cover the ice tea on the bar counter. This is so unsanitary. Secondly, you gave me ranch dressing that looks like it came off someone else's used plate. Of course, I threw it in the trash. Needless to say, I ate naked buffalo wings. My overall experience didn't give me the dire need to want to visit again. If I do decide to come back, I may try sitting at the bar. I would most likely try other locations before coming back though. The service wasn't the worst, but there were definitely times where I felt I wasn't being taken care of. I was sitting at the table half empty water glass, empty drink glass, all of my food eaten just waiting to order another drink. For a Friday night, it was slow. So, there was no reason why a party of 1 was left unattended. The fact that the first drink was allowed to leave the bar & come out to me is wild. I tasted straight tequila, and there was no strawberry purée--- which is one of the ingredients of the drink. The second drink was much better, but I had to ask for strawberry purée. I payed on the kiosk at the table, because at this point I'm ready to go. I find it funny how as soon as I got up and started walking towards the door, I was acknowledged. "Hey, you leaving?" Chili's franchise that is tucked off of Preston Highway towards the okolona/hillview borderline in Lousiville Kentucky. Chilis is an American food establishment that has quite a few locations. I particularly enjoy their food. The chicken margarita is a tasty low calories meal and they have a solid steak that is every bit as good or on par with competitors like say an Applebees. This location has always had solid to good service. The interior nicely sized and decorated with bright colors and some local support of nearby schools and events. For years there was a picture of my now 13 year old daughter in her pre k class playing tug of war at there school field day (as of 2021 the picture has been taken down). So it has that neighborhood vibe to the establishment. Overall pretty good place that we dine at a few times a year. It has solid food, good service and a nice sized menu with good low calorie options. read more

We were greeted and seated quickly. Friendly, attentive, and perceptive staff and server. Mild noise and overall clean. We got the Triple Dipper with Fried Mozzarella, regular chicken crispers, and Big Mouth Bites, all of which were excellent. The tray came with 3 sauces, which at first they brought out the incorrect sauces, but our server immediately corrected it before we even noticed. I got the Double Old Timer with cheese with added bacon, pickles, and signature sauce. The burger was amazing, although they put my sauce on the side rather than on it. My grandma got the Choose 3 Ultimate Smokehouse Combo with House Ribs, brisket quesadillas, and chicken bacon ranch quesadillas. All of it was good, especially the street corn, but the jalapeños on the brisket quesadillas were too much for her to handle. The food took a little while to come out, however, I overheard from a bartender that they were understaffed currently, so I won't take a point off for that. Great sauce flavor, but chicken was co tough had to grind teeth just to bite into it. Dogs got those. Egg rolls were good. Just not hot, or even warm. We came here for dinner before heading to see a movie. My coworker had already ordered a drink and an appetizer by the time I got to the restaurant. I ordered the tropical sunrise margarita and it came out super quick. We munched on chips, salsa and queso while waiting for our entrees. I like the chips as there is just a touch of salt to them. For my entree, I ordered the old timer with cheese burger. It came with a side of fries as well. The burger was delicious and hot. The fries were ok but not great. However, after the appetizer, I wasn't hungry enough for the fries. Our waitress was quick, efficient and bubbly. Our food came out quick so we had a bit of time to kill. She kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed without making us feel like she was pushing us out the door. Maybe it was just a bad night but I ordered a salad with no cheese and it still came with cheese (trash) and as I was eating my pasta, I begin to have something very crunchy/crispy (definitely not the right texture) I spit it out and I pay it was just burnt broccoli from the bottom of the pan when it was cooked. Food wasn't really hot by time I got home so I didn't even eat it all. Also not the employees fault but the money machine was broken so I received a phone call to come in and pay. Didn't want to get out of the car oh and they... well we forgot my drink! I'd like a replacement meal on the house this time. Pretty good burgers, fun drinks, and interesting sodas (with the Coke machine) and always trying new things. I like Chili's generally but like a lot of chains they roll out really good items and then change them once the promo is over, often down grading quality. So I do like them when we are late getting home and they are pretty fast getting orders together. Sometimes they will bring the to-go order to the curb too so I do appreciate that when I'm tired or the weather is bad. My wife and I ate there today and there are little things I liked but also bugged me. There are two versions of guacamole on the menu one is 3 bucks more than the other and the only difference is they make it at the table, and it has optional jalapenos. Then there is the Coke machine, they have it, put together a fancy menu and over charge you for the access to the many options, only they require you to let them fill it limited you to what you can get or how often. It's not like they say no, but you have to know what you want, wait for a water and ask for the drink. It misses the whole point of the new Coke machine. I ordered a hamburger, the same one I always get. It used to come with thick sweet bacon. Now it's got paper thin bacon that is under cooked. So my point is there are some good items on the menu and if you order a new item in the first month it's often pretty good but once it moves to the regular menu they cheap it down. There is also a bit of "me too" going on. They seemed to have lost their direction and theme and are always copying what other chains are doing well. But they never execute it as well because it's just not what they are good at or passionate about. I wish the chain would get back to it's roots and do it well instead of trying to be like everyone else. read more

I am judging this on a scale of one to five for Chilis and this is a four star Chilis. It is near my home so when I want to eat but I don't have the emotional strength to cook and clean. The food is the food. It is what you expect Chilis food to be. It's never wrong and it's never as good as home cooked food but the funny thing about "home cooked" is that it is also "home cleaned." This would be a five star Chilis but everything takes so long. So, so long. It is never a quick place to eat. For what it is, it takes too long. read more

We usually eat here because prices were pretty good for what you got. Today we got the three for me and everything had changed. The prices were higher and you got less. I got the cajan chicken pasta and my husband got cajan shrimp pasta, came with no bread. I asked the waitress when I finally saw her if bread no longer came with the dinner? She said it's supposed to would you like for me to get you some? My response no since we had already finished eating. We did get our Military discount but the meal was not like it use to be. We sat at the bar but after waiting 5min a waitress/bartender finally comes over and says in non friendly voice or face "It will be10mins before I can get to ya. I'm waiting tables also." She only said something to us because she was getting something from under the bar. Not a Hello or a smile but this ugly mean mug. It made us so uncomfortable we just left. This was my first time at Chili's in at least five years. It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't what I expected. All four of us ordered the 3 for $10 deal that was going on. It comes with a drink, a soup, salad, chili, or chips and salsa, and an entree. My mom and I both ordered the bacon burger. My dad and my mom's friend's food came back fine, but our burgers were pink. My mom's at least had a brown edge around it to show that it was "done," but the entire inside of mine was pink as if it had been plopped on the grill, flipped, and then shoved on a bun without letting the inside cook. Our server, Maria, was really nice and helpful, and I'll definitely ask for her again if I ever go back. She made sure we got burgers that were actually cooked all the way through, kept our drinks filled, and gave us free chips and salsa to take home with us. She even offered us free dessert, but we were already stuffed at this point, so we declined. We talked to her about stuff outside the restaurant, which made her extremely relatable and likable. It was good enough that I'll return eventually to see if it's improved but not good enough that I'll jump at the opportunity to go back tomorrow. Three stars because of our server and her readiness to please the customer instead of making it obvious that she was just after a paycheck. read more
