I have gone to Hooters in many different states for the last 30 years. I'm a big fan of the traditional breaded wings. Today I stopped here for lunch and ordered 6 traditional breaded wings and some fries. When they wings came out, it was very obvious that they were not breaded and even the waitress confirmed it. She took them back to have them remade. However the manager insisted to her that they were breaded and refused to have them remade. I normally dont eat at Hooters, but we decided to give it a try for the Mayweather fight. I must say it was well organized, only peeps who paid for the event could come inside. We paid $30 for the fight but got $20 back to use during our next visit, great deal. They also had security at the front door and inside so we felt safe at all times. This was alot of fun, and Yes I would do again if Hooters hosted the event. The manager was very nice, attentative and welcoming as we arrived, we were seated promptly, tables and bathrooms were clean, customer service was on point. So we had not the best service. And then got charged 3 times for our order so we call and ask for the manager who's name is Adrian. We explained our issues and he was rude from the start. Excellent service which hasn't always been the case with Hooters restaurants. We were greeted quickly and warmly and seated at our choice of tables. Our server was polite and checked back quickly. Even the manager was eagle eyed and brought me a water refill before I was totally empty. I appreciated the service very much. The food was typical and as expected ... that is except for the dipper fries with cheese which took longer to come out than anything else at the table. Unfortunately the kitchen had forgotten them and were in a hurry. When they did they were swimming in oil. I didn't complain becuase everything else was so good. I don't think the yucky fries are the standard as everything else was so on point. Not a perfect 5 stars but if I could do 4.5 they deserved it. This was a fun visit for me. My Hooters Girl noticed me entering the restaurant wearing a Hooters polo shirt and a Hooters ball cap, and immediately thought I was from the corporate office. (I'm not, and from what I understand if they come unannounced they aren't wearing Hooters branded clothing.) She had a trainee with her and introduced me as "someone from corporate". I have eaten here many times and I really enjoy it. I especially like to come in on Monday, after 6pm, when they have all you can eat wings. I always get Daytona wings, unbreaded. Someone in our party was able to go out twice to smoke and still no food. When she brought drink refills left all empty cups on table. Every four to five years I decide to give Hooters another chance to see if things have improved food-wise.They have not, the boneless wings were chewy and seasoned beyond belief. Fries were Luke warm and tasted stale, I had to use the ole ranch to get them down as I was starving.
