I thought that I had written a review for this Hooters before, but I guess not. We stop at this Hooters at least twice a year and have for the last 5 or 6 years coming back from the beach We have seen food and service from "top notch" to "where is the manager?" In fact, one time we stopped and I had a conversation with the temporary manager. He was from another store and we talked about the disarray at this store. This review is for today's stop. First, this is no reflection on the restaurant, don't bring your little league team to Hooters. Second, don't let your waitresses congregate in open view behind the bar. Our food tasted very good tonight. My wife's food was over the top good. Mine had a very good taste but must have been made earlier. I had wings that were coated perfectly but were luke warm. I should have sent them back but I am always skeptical about doing that. Our service was passible but barely. I always feel like I have a new waitress when I stop here. They never know enough to make suggestions, do the extra things, like picking up empties when they visit, or even suggesting the limited desert options. Yes, we will stop on our next trip by here. I would highly advise against anyone making a online order at this particular location. I ordered a simple meal of 10 smoked wings nothing special for a scheduled pickup of 45 minutes after I paid online. Hands down the absolute worst Hooters I've ever been to in 20 years of experience...beer took over 20 mins to come out and then my Dos Xs was actually a Bud Light which I sent back. Decided to try takeout after checking into hotel after 8 hr drive. Husband ordered a burger with coleslaw up charge. Burger was overdone and the coleslaw was old and tasteless. I ate here like two days ago 10/28/18. I ordered the oysters on the shell (served on ice) and the steamed shrimp. Bartender was very well mannered and helpful but unfortunately i have been suffering from food poisoning for the past few days. I'm certain it was the raw oysters i ate from here. This was my first and LAST time trying oysters!!! Maybe my body just wasn't used to it, but i have most definitely been glued to my bed ever since eating those oysters. Literally only 6 customers in the whole place and hardly saw our waitress. Took forever to order. Aftre we placed our order, we had a different waitress and she just walked into work. Nope. Got a 15$ off coupon and thought I'd take the opportunity to try Hooters' famous wings. We ordered to be picked up at 5pm. Husband got there at 4:55 and it wasn't ready until 5:30. I ordered extra crispy and they weren't. Between us, we ordered 25 wings and a salad and without the coupon, it would have been 45.00. Too expensive. Deleting my mobile app now and unsubscribing to the club. (said we would get a free appetizer if we joined, and we were told during the online order process that we would receive it, but then said our order didn't qualify. It seemed pretty dead for a Sunday afternoon so we guessed we would have an attentive server... This was not the case.... This is your average bar food type of place.. nothing special but women in tight small clothing.. but we aren't here for the girls.. at least I wasn't.. When we got seated she came to our service quickly and got our orders quickly which was great! But once she gave us our food we never saw her again until it was time to get the bill. She never asked us if we were ok or if the food was made exactly how we wanted it. She never gave us a refill on our drinks so when we ordered our spicy wings, we had to endure the spices and subtle them with the ice we had in our cup. When she did come around to give us our check she finally refilled our drinks but got the wrong type. I am very disappointed on the service we received but had no complaints on our food. Next time I come to this joint I'm just going to sit at the bar... At least I know I will get some good booze and wings. read more

Although wasn't extremely busy like a mad house. Decided to get a take out order. All, all the servers were very, very young as most of the persons in the restaurant, except for the bar area. People were walking all around, no masks on, etc. Loud. It was only about 7:15 p.m. Greeter/cashier had her mask down completely exposing her face. I didn't have a menu. I asked her what was the next level up from hot she said medium then she said mild. Obviously not knowledgeable about their basic product. Then the bill was over $40!!! for 25 skinny wings and some fries. When I went back in there to pick them up, there were about 4 boys maybe 19 years old hanging over the counter asking another very young girl brainless questions. The cashier/greeter had money, lots of money, laid out all over the counter I assume counting it??? She told me to "wait" and the other girl said, is this ("my name") and gave me the bag. It's Hooters! Excellent wings, great chips, football games (along with 39 TVs located throughout), and a fair amount of breasts! Worst place. Went today for lunch and spent 30$ on soda and an appetizer. We ordered, waited about 20 to find out they were out of steak and wings. wouldn't have been such a big deal if we didn't sit there for almost half an hour waiting for our food. Hated that i didn't tip, but servers should know if they are out of something before they wait on the tables. Will not be coming here again. not to mention the girls should have their hair up. My visit was unpleasant. The hostess was great but the service was not good. She let me know that she knows nothing about beer but wasn't willing to get the information needed just for a beer selection of IPA. My guest went to the bar to speak with the bartender about the IPA selection and she was rude, not willing to help and appeared as if she was bothered that we were asking about the beer selection. I've been here several times and never experienced feeling unwanted here. I'm so disappointed with how this visit went. Looks like work needs to be put into customer service, knowing a few beer selections or at least be willing to ask someone that knows and understanding that other patrons tip as well not just the type that you like. Don't waste your time with this loser of a restaurant. The last time I dined here was almost a year ago, and the service was terrible. I went back on 5/12/17 in the hopes that it had gotten better, but to my disbelief it had actually gotten worse. A friend and I walked into the restaurant at exactly 9:05PM on a Friday night which meant that the place should have been hopping, but it had barely 30 people in the whole place and most of the tables were empty. We were seated at a high table which was located closest to the register and the front door than any other table in the place, and that was the last human contact we had until 9:25PM when we got tired of being ignored and decided to leave. No one even came by to give us menus and take our drink order! On the way out I asked to speak to the manager and a short, blond haired older lady came over and identified herself as the manager. When I told her what had happened, the only thing she said was "Sorry about that." NO attempt to make it right, NO offer of anything, NO effort on her part AT ALL! I got the distinct impression that she didn't care a bit that we had gotten not only lousy service but NO SERVICE AT ALL! Avoid this place at all costs! read more

Ive been coming here for 6 years, and although the food hasn't ever been the greatest, the wait staff is always a pleasure to be around. Except the new manager Bill likes to micro-manage everyone to the extent that I have been here for over an hour and my waitress has only been allowed to stop by my table once for just long enough to drop off my drink. He also has a bad habit of touching the girls when he speaks to them. It's disgusting, aggravating, and downright infuriating. This place is a nightmare to come to when Bill is managing. I'm not sure where to start, but the service and food was absolutely terrible. Let me say our waitress was a nice young woman, but she was pretty much none existent. She took forever with A LOT! Bringing out drinks took forever. It took FOREVER to get our food. We literally sat there twiddling our thumbs and looking around. I could see what looked like 10-15 plates sitting on a table in the kitchen for a long time and we finally got our food like 20 mins after that. The fries were 100% cold and the chicken was dry and less than warm, I had to ask for extra sauce. A member of my party had the wrong order and it literally took until it was time for us to go for him to get his remade wings! We asked for our check and we could see our waitress spending 15 mins at the computer and I finally asked the manager if she could help her out because it was taking a while. The manager seemed less than qualified to manage and walked around looking for our waitress instead of addressing our table and once she was finally able to help the waitress like 15 mins later we received our bill and gave her our cards and maybe 15 more mins later we saw that there was a 50% discount placed on our bills. That is absolutely appreciated, but I feel that the manager or waitress could've said SOMETHING to settle the table, instead of avoiding us. I just know that I will not visit another Hooters again. read more

The service was not enjoyable. Went there on 9/10 and watched the Panthers game. One waitress was arguing with management over her wanting to do school work while on the job. She did not want to be there and did not want to work. Management asked three of the waitresses to clean because they were slow and all of them all of a sudden got a Cinderella complex. They thought they were in a sweat shop. They complained like they were in a film of Les Miserable. What a horrible attitude. Most Hooters I have been in the waitress try's to establish a report with the people at their tables. This establishment does not. I now understand why they were slow on the opening Sunday of the NFL. The food is not good enough to put up with the drama. read more

Worst place ever!!!! They have a giant sign hanging inside that says "10pm to close, beer specials and half price apps", so I asked what the beer specials were and was told that they don't have any, but the sign says you do!! So the manager came over and asked what the problem was, I asked her what the beer specials were, she said we don't have any, said sc state law says we can't have beer specials after 6pm, but your sign says you do, she said the sign had been there for two years and I was the first person to ever ask what the beer specials where!! I do not recommend coming here. The entire time I have been here the bartender has NOT washed her hands, and I've sat here and watched her pickup trash off the bar, pickup trash off the floor, pickup dirty dishes off the bar, cut lemons "without any gloves on.." There are no tongs in the containers that have the lemons, limes, and cherries, she just uses her hands to get them and place them in the glasses or on the glasses. The bottoms of our glasses were dirty as well as the inside of our glasses, my glass had lipstick STILL ON THE RIM. There must not be any standards for the girls they hire either. There was an opened beer in the one of the coolers at the bar and no one at the bar was drinking that type of beer and it was still there when we got up to walk out. I will NEVER come back. I can't even give this Hooters 1 star, just not worth it. Need to get it cleaned up and in better shape as well as your staff.. read more

Meet my son there for supper on the night Thurs. Jan. 3, 2013. There was not my people inside. We walked right in and seated ourselves. There was a waitress named Lisa that was sitting with another customer about two table away. She look over at a few times and it was 15 mins. before she took our drink order. She spent the majority of our time there playing with the one customer. I ordered breaded wings and when they came out, I questioned if it was what I ordered. They were the worst wings I have ever had. Normally I praise Hooters wings. Service was bad, food was bad. Really a shame since I eat there at least once a month. read more
