I visited back a couple months ago over Thanksgiving break for my friend's birthday. It was our second time to the Dedham location, and it was a much better experience this time around. We were greeted by Madison at the door. Luckily, she was our waitress. She was extremely bubbly, and very easy on the eyes. She was the best waitress there, and one of the best all time. She recommended the trash can for our drinks, and they were solid. I didn't get any food, but it's typical bar food based on previous experiences. read more

The first time I went in there it was awkward time two. 6 or 7 older gents at the bar sipping the one beer, checking out the young girls. I grabbed my take out and skid addled. We went there to watch a game. The place was packed. There is a lot of bar and table seating for small and large groups. I really love their quesadillas! The cocktails are made just right too. I wish the parking lot was bigger. It is a short walk from Legacy Place. Close to the highway on busy Route 1 in Dedham. Decent place to get some grub and relax with friends! (Preface: If I could give zero stars I would) Dear Hooters Management: I've never written a review on yelp, and never thought I would, but felt the need to comment as there was no one at the restaurant that acknowledged us long enough for us to get a word in. Came here with my husband and toddler for a late launch (around 2:30). After a 15 minute wait for a host (or anyone) to seat us we finally got a table. (Note, we were not the only ones waiting, a decent line had formed behind us, and there appeared to be several free tables ready to go.) How were the drinks? Seemed like a decent beer list, but no one ever came by to take our order. How was the food? Couldn't tell you. The place was packed and the waitresses were slammed and one would think on a football Sunday there would be sufficient staff on hand. One would also think you'd offer a family with a small child something for said tiny human to munch on when you sat them, knowing you were busy. Apparently not... After waiting 30 mins and helplessly trying to get someone's attention we decided to leave. Our tiny human, AKA the boss, was hungry and it was time to move on. Sorry hooters. We tried. Really. This place is absolutely horrible. It took 30 minutes (not an exaggeration) to get a drink order and took another 30 minutes (again, not an exaggeration) to get those drinks. Finally got our food order taken, and after waiting 50 minutes, was informed they misplaced our food ticket and our order had to be placed again. Another 50-minute wait ensued, and as everyone's food came out mine was forgotten...so I had to wait another 30 minutes as everyone ate. At this point, it was closing time so without asking me I was given my food in a to-go box. Waitress was unapologetic and rude. As I was sorting through the bill (which had nothing comped) the waitress hovered over my back watching me go through my money. She was not tipped, and I am never going to come back here ever again. I wanted to go there for the wings because i remember how crispy they were in Revere the best I've had. The wings weren't crispy enough and although sauce was tasty it was saucy. The waitress asked if wanted ranch or blue cheese but, there we're no carrot or celery sticks?! My boys tortilla salad was old and browning and saugy and missing tortilla. Waitress went to ask they said they ran out of tortilla like wtf wouldn't you ask the customer. My boy was too nice and didn't mention it. I would have but. I was being on my best behavior for him. Went to Hooters in dedham last night with some friends and it happen to be all you can eat wing night (12.99-"Dine-in only") which was fantastic. Service was great, as the lovely Valerie took great care of us and was very attentive with high maintenance needs. Beers sections was ample, 20 different flavors of wings, Buffalo chicken quesadilla was awesome and was the thickest I've eve seen. Manager was profesional and very gentleman like has he checked on our table to ensure our needs and our time was enjoyable at the establishment. Rest room was spotless and floors could be eaten off of they were so clean. Great place to catch the games, have some food and enjoy the atmosphere. We expected more and we got a lot less. Boneless wings were hard as a rock. The place was jammed, but the waitresses were no place to be found on the floor. Most of them were sitting at tables talking to the boys for 30 35 minutes at a time. One girl who introduced herself as the trainer to the table near us and then sat with another group of men for 30 to 35 minutes telling her life story while the remainder of the waitresses did the same with other tables. Kind of creepy. Very creepy​. Many tables near us and across from us were trying to wave down their waitress, then any waitress but none seem to be working the floor they all seem to be working for dates. It's a hair, it's hooters, so I don't think there can be any kind of mind app lowing review done. However, was here for the grand opening Saturday and it seemed like a well oiled machine. This impressed simply because a lot of grand openings, regardless of industry, is a complete crap show. We arrived, four of us, around 3 pm and was figuring it would be a mad house. Now, it was very busy, but appeared pretty organized. We were greeted very warm.y when we arrived, and to my surprise seated immediately. Crowd was pretty diverse to be frank. All ages and sexes,adults to kids, were enjoying themselves in a very well designed location. The bar, very large, is situated toward the back of the venue. Tvs abound this location, definitely a great place to catch a game. We sat at a high top, server was very attentive, and gorgeous. She did struggle a coil,e of times remembering items but it was her first live day, to me that was to be expected and she handled it brilliantly. The food, well, it's hooters. I mean it was good, we tried several types of bone in wings, which really is their go to items, they were cooked nicely. Honey barbecue, barbecue, chipotle honey were all tasty. I've been to several Hooters locations, and they definitely vary in quality of service and cleanliness. I visited this one on a college football Saturday afternoon. The service was quick, and management was attentive. They put the game I requested on for me, and my waitress was friendly but not flirty. (This is a good thing. I'm not coming here for a date). My food arrived quickly and was hot - had not been sitting in the window. Solid beer selection including local options (Lord Hobo on tap was nice). The bathrooms were clean. The furnishings are new and well taken care of. You either like Hooters restaurants, or you don't. My review is aimed at people who do. This is a quality iteration of the franchise. The only negative thing I could offer here is that the somewhat cavernous building they occupy can get a little loud. First time I came here and it's been two hours and one of my friends hasn't even gotten his food. This place is wide open and the service is nonexistent. Let me start by saying the wait staff is always friendly and has checked back with me at least a few times per visit. On one of my latest trips, I had Komanda as a waitress, and she was awesome. She's personable and professional. I'm not sure why she got a bad review, but for me, she corrected a sauce issue and checked back with me several times. Definitely one of the best waitresses there. This is probably my 7th time there today, and while the waitresses are on point with service, the kitchen still has some kinks to workout. Twice I have had wings come out with no sauce on them and have even had to-go orders with 14 out of 20 wings in there. Make sure when you get your food for dine in, that you make sure the wings are sauced enough, and for to-go orders check your orders before you leave! I hope the kitchen gets better, as the atmosphere is nice there. read more

This is my last time coming to Hooters. I ordered 10 boneless wings that are usually $12 . Got to the counter they're charging my almost $17 for 10 cold boneless wings??? I showed them the menu with the price on it and the waitress tells me theyre getting new menus and changing the price ??!? $17 for some frozen fried boneless wings ??? I am livid. So this review is only based on the food I got for take out. It in no reflection is of the ladys working or service as far as that goes im not sure how they are. The food I got was terrible no where near as good as I get from Shrewsbury location! I know hooters isn't only about the food but it's a big part of the experience and boy was I disappointed. The fried pickles normally my favorite item they have where so greasy they dripped grease when u picked them up. The curly fries where stale an it wasn't because I drove far I work across the street. I'm updating this review quite significantly. When it opened it was a complete s*^tshow as I detailed in my review. I continued to go because I lived essentially next door to watch big games etc. And you know the service has improved significantly. They're really friendly. And there are a couple items on the menu I really like such as the wings and chili. They still occasionally have head shaker glitches, but overall they seem to finally get it and it's a decent sports bar. read more

So I've been to this restaurant many times. It's totally hit or miss when it comes to service. Apparently they brought in new managers to fix problems. Went during a busy night last night and I asked the waitress how long food would take to come out. She said 15 minutes. After 1 hour and after my wife and I were long done with our beers(after waiting 15 minutes for a waitress initially decided to come to our table) the food came out. I was actually getting out of my seat to leave because there was no attention, no update on food service, no checking to see if we needed something, absolutely minimal service, the food came out. I've never left a restaurant without paying but I was pretty close before the food came. We barely even saw a waitress in our section. But I give them 3 stars for the following reasons. The manager Chris was very apologetic and offered us a 25 dollar gift card plus took my burger(my one hour burger) off the bill and made our pitcher of BL the price of a 16oz and the food came out pretty good. They forget my cheese sauce but still charged even but I didn't argue by that point because it was getting late and the waitress was not helpful. If you go off hours it's much better but they really need to figure out larger crowds and hire servers that actually work instead of playing on phones and focusing on their friends that may stumble in the restaurant. It's a dilemma at all restaurants, people want to get paid to show up. Don't care if you're wearing a skimpy outfit, still have to do your job and take care of your customers... especially at a place like hooters which prides itself on its servers. They aren't living up to their reputation in Dedham but I would be back only during slow times because I like the junk food once in a while. Caution if you go during an event or when the parking lot is full because you won't get the service you pay for during peak hours.
