    DAV USCG '74. Beef wellington.

Food amazing for an ale house. Saw a review on WICKED BITES and hubby wished for beef wellington so off down rt128. Puff pastry surrounded short rib & veg. Served over mashed potatoes with the best gravy ever. 5* Wife ordered tortellini bologenes thinking eat half, leftovers for lunch nextday...she finished it! Short rib meat, I see a theme here. Cocktails: maple bourbon with amazing lux cherry. Dessert: sticking to another theme, cherry draped cheesecake. Ambiance: outdoor patio with firepit. Too cold but be back in springtime. Bar so, TVs on every surface. MUSIC 80-90s appropriate since clientele seems to subscribe to AARP...so we finally fit in! SERVICE: NICEST server in Boston. Guess she was raised in Midwest, lol. Parking was our concern but, lot on corner. Signage 2 hour limit, no paid kiosk sooooo?? Loved the exterior wall mural. NAVY medal of honor, old MBTA trolley, etc. THANKS. We had 3:30p reservation and all menu items available. FYI. Most folks there for Monday smash burgers special. Clean restrooms. Definitely upscale from my memories from 1980s at Northeastern univ.

Take a look at their "Health Score" from September 10th and previous dates. Do you see ALL OF THOSE VIOLATIONS??? Those were all related to rodents. Ask me how I know. Oh, because I was THERE, and I SAW an actual mouse there in March, and the Manager, Quinn P. DID NOT CARE. They have had continued to fail health inspections ever since, as you can plainly see. At least they were finally forced to close their doors for a day, and, oh, I DON'T KNOW...maybe...EXTERMINATE PROPERLY? I had an extensive review up about it, including Quinn and his completely nonchalant response, along with several follow up reviews as I saw the continued health inspection failures. Feel free to take a look at what the violations were FOR, below, lucky for you, it's all public record! So it's my pleasure to share with you! https://www.cityofboston.gov/isd/health/mfc/History.aspx?args=IjYxoXMODXM= Check out all the inspections done before 8/8, they are ALL REGARDING RODENTS. Apparently they appear to have FINALLY bothered to clean up the issue, but not until SEVEN MONTHS of pressure and inspections from the Health Inspectors. Maybe we should think about going back? Maybe.

We met our daughter and her friend that works in the area here for lunch. The place us set up nice, every modern and clean. The staff was very welcoming and we were taken care of quickly. The server made suggestions and answered our questions about the menu. The ticket times were really good and the food was delicious. The fried pickles were as good as Kyle said they were. The portion sizes were good and we plan to come here again to try some of the other menu offerings.

I already gave Boston Ale House a five star review nine months ago, but my boyfriend and I had such a wonderful experience here last night that I am compelled to give them another five star review if Yelp will allow that. This sports bar has a laid back, yet upscale vibe with TVs scattered around so you can watch the game(s) while enjoying your meal. Our waitress, Madison provided exceptional service. She patiently answered our questions about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS!!! We both ordered the steak tips with mashed potatoes, asparagus and onion strings which I highly recommend. The steak tips were cooked to perfection. Even though we both ordered ours well done, they were still moist and tender. The mashed potatoes were creamy with just the right amount of salt. We also got a side dish of the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Shallots and Bacon which was cooked in a mouthwatering delicious sauce. I've never had such amazing Brussel sprouts anywhere else. We will definitely be coming back here more often and plan to make Boston Ale House part of our regular restaurant rotation. Thank you for making our Saturday evening so pleasant!

Stir fry vegetables. With Frozen chicken

I just purchased a take out order for $104. we order 1 bones in chicKen, 2 vegetable stir fry, 1 order of potato skins and 1 order of fish and chips. The chicken was warm not freshly cooked and the chicken skin is so hard to chew (old chicKen). The potato skins were lukewarm and either over cooked or cooked frozen. The potato flesh is brown. The vegetable stir fry came with chicken that had the burnt strips on them, so those were frozen and dry. i tried to eat them but choked. I tried calling back several times but voicemail came on. Very frustrating and disappointing. Usually the food is good. I enjoyed other dishes before. Tonight was not a good night for them! Not going back!

My neighbors and I enjoy coming to this place a lot. The pizza here is really good and they got a good selection of beers and cocktails on their menu. The staff are always sweet. I mainly see the place as a sports bar but I definitely want to try their brunch and dinner menus. It seems like the place can hold a large group and they have patio seating as well. Also they have trivia every Wednesday at 7:30pm.

This place is a big, fun tavern with classic American/bar food. The staff is attentive and provide good service. I love coming here when I want to grab a bite and watch a sports game on one of their many big screens. The bar is usually full of people there for the same reason I just described. This place is big enough to sit away from the bar if you want a more intimate experience with a group of people or just one other person. I believe they also have trivia nights and for those nights, I recommend making a reservation.

Boston had been taken over by the Tartan Army and, on this day, they all descended on a Red Sox game. Despite the packed crowd, Diniera behind the bar and Jared bar backing were amazing. It's easy to overlook great service when a place is slammed, but these two deserve some recognition. If management is reading this, Diniera and Jared are a big reason people will come back.

Waiting that long just to place an order was frustrating, especially considering how empty the restaurant was, there wasn't a game going on so I didn't really understand why it took them that long to send someone ever. Preface we went around 6pm! Once we were finally able to order, it took another 30-40 minutes for our drinks and food to arrive. I've had better experiences here in the past, which is why this visit was so surprising. I understand that off days happen, but the service was unusually slow from start to finish. I hope this was just an isolated experience because the food and atmosphere have been enjoyable on previous visits.

We got a pretty big spread of food (honey bbq tenders, nachos, lobster roll, steak and cheese wontons, and margarita pizza). All of it was very average. The flavors were very average and the quality of the food was nothing special. Wish it was more Seaport quality. It's a bummer since not a single plate was piping hot when it got to our table. We were sat outside immediately, and got our drink orders taken within 3 minutes. I personally am never able to make a decision and our server Carlos helped me out with the drink choices! I picked something he suggested they could make that wasn't on the menu, and it was one of the yummiest margaritas I've had recently! For our food we got the steak tips and sweet chili wings and they were both a 10/10. The steak tips came with broccoli instead of a side salad but our server assured it could be switched immediately and apologized for the miscommunication, but we preferred the broccoli anyways! What shocked me was I noticed how Carlos kept an eye on every table without interjecting to bother them. He kept such a good eye on the tables that he noticed someone wobbling in their chair and brought them napkins to even out the ground, and brought me a bunch more napkins when I had ounces of sauce from the wings on my hands and face. It was truly a great experience and nice to see someone so attentive to their customers who totally didn't have to be. Give Carlos a raise! Thank you Caskn flagon!

It's like someone mashed together an amusement park, a zoo, and a full-blown circus, then replaced the cotton candy with alcohol and the safety rails with chaos. Every floor felt like a different dimension--one minute you're vibing, the next you're dodging a human traffic jam like it's bumper cars. But the real main event? Colleen. First floor. Absolute legend. Watching her work was like witnessing a headliner performance before the headliner. She wasn't bartending--she was conducting a symphony of pure mayhem. Drinks flying out of her hands like fireworks, orders remembered with supernatural precision, cracking jokes, keeping the energy electric--it was like if a ringmaster, a magician, and a quarterback all fused into one person behind the bar. I showed up stone-cold sober. Like, "responsible adult grabbing a pre-show drink" sober. What happened next was less of a night out and more of a controlled demolition. Somewhere between Colleen's perfectly poured chaos and the multi-floor madness, time stopped making sense. I'm pretty sure I blacked out on one floor and woke up on another like I was fast-traveling in a video game. At one point I may have been part of the circus. Not watching it--part of it. By the time I left, "walking" was no longer an option. I exited the building in a full crawl, like I had just survived a natural disaster. Limbs questionable, dignity gone, spirit intact. 10/10. No notes. Would absolutely risk it all again.

We got there towards the end but scored some merch. We did wait for a table since it was a full house for this, but luckily we scored one with a TV in view. My friends and I got dinner, opted out of drinks this round. I got the chicken quesadilla with a side of spanish rice. The quesadilla was pretty good, but the rice was a little undercooked. They also charged extra for a side of sauce which has never happened before so that was a bummer. I wouldn't have got one if I'd known. Oh well. We then split the cookie sundae which was yummy. Cookie was undercooked and a little raw but it was okay. Still tasted okay, food is always good but nothing to write home about. I like it though.
