This is a regular stop for me. Are the wings great? Nah. But I drop in on Tuesday with my hubby and 2 boys. On Tuesday, kids eat free (and they have a pretty decent grilled cheese sandwich) while mommy and daddy get to enjoy the special on the "big daddy" size draft and eat wings. I hate this hooters with every bone in my body. It's bright as hell in this miserable cafeteria of old white men. When i go to hooters, I want dim yellow lighting. Come here alot, me for the crawfish, when in season, the wife for wings. Have to say I am totally disappointed. Today was the second time in two weeks - out of crawfish and they even took my order and didn't say a thing. 15 minutes later I get "Sorry we are out of crawfish!" My wife and I decided to give this place a try again after years of not eating here! We had made the right decision years ago based on poor quality management, sub standard food compared to other Hooters! I tried to get a dark beer, I'm sorry we don't have any as our Shiner lines are broken, so for the last few days everyone had the other brand of dark beers. I can offer you a IPA. Well it did not stop there, I ordered 10 Wings-,got 9 flappers and one drum. Told the manager and she brought me 4 drums. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich with peppers and grilled onions no bun! She got a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes on a bun. The place needs a complete new management team and a desire to deliver the Hooters food and drink like most other Hooters! Not impressed. I ordered curbside pickup. When I arrived, no one was outside. After waiting a while for someone to come out, I put on my mask and went inside. I told the host I ordered pickup and she told me my order wasn't ready. There were several others waiting for pickup and no way to social distance. Luckily all of the customers waiting were wearing masks. NONE of the staff were. Not the waitresses, not the cooks, not the hosts. I didn't expect to come inside. We used to love this location and with the renovations we thought it would be awesome. Sadly, the food was not as it used to be. The service took forever as well. We even waited to sit and it wasn't very busy. We were a party of 7 and were seated in the middle of the aisle with no room for our food or drinks. Every time a waitress walked by we were bumped. Finally, they moved is to the bigger TX table so we had room. Our waitress was very sweet but not very fast at all. We had to ask for water, another beer, etc. I doubt we will be coming back. I've popped in a time or two after class. I was 25 years old the first time I tried Hooters and I've been hooked on their hot wings since. (Why didn't anyone tell me this place existed?) Hooters has totally changed their wing recipe or something. I've tried 3-4 different locations over the last 4-5 months and always the same. Wings are not crispy, sometimes not even covered in sauce, and they have some new oil they sit in on their plate. Just flat out not good. This is coming from a guy who used to frequent Hooters weekly! Even just getting wings and eating like fried chicken without the sauce used to be greatness. I've been to this location a couple of times because 1)my boyfriend and I love wings 2) he loves watching sports 3) we grab a few drinks after my night classes or on weekends. Their wings aren't my favorite, but my boyfriend loves their breaded wings. I know wings aren't healthy to begin with, but I feel more guilty when I eat them haha. Their wings are HUGE! So you don't feel like you are getting jipped. However, they use different type of wings from other places...I guess you can say they have more bones or have more smaller bones? My boyfriend has witnessed this in the store when he went to pick up the wings also. When we stopped by, they would not even take our order saying they wouldn't be able to have the wings ready until 3 hours later, and looked at us like we were dumb. Damn, I don't know why some people have to be so rude and mean sometimes. With a broken spirit (at least I was haha), we drove by Hooters with no hope, but surprisingly, they were more than happy and willing to take our order! And the food came out in less than 30 minutes. SUPER DUPER! I was worried that the food wouldn't taste as good that day because they are rushed, but they were still the same. I've never had the best service at this Hooters, but the food is so good. I never minded when I was seated away from all the TVs and ignored as long as I got my fried pickles and flappers. But the last couple times I've been to this location, the chicken has been different! Service has been better, but the chicken flappers are almost half the size they used to be. So, hey, you can stick me and my friends in that weird overflow room and only refill our drinks twice an hour, just as long as you stop goofing around and make your wings the way you used to. read more

The food, the infamous wings, are acceptable, but the "scenery" makes me want to scream. For the most part the service is good. Aside from the "scenery" my biggest complaint is that I wish their beer selection was better. The food and service has improved immensely since the remodel. The one BIG issue is the dumb ass smokers that can't read the NO SMOKING signs outside the entry door under the patio roof.
