Nastiest wings I ever had. I understand that the whole point of the place is to see pretty girls and eat, but if the food is gross, I honestly could care less if they had pretty women. I order the original chicken wings with Parmesan garlic seasoning. The chicken was so dry and barely had any parmesan garlic seasoning on them. I also order a side of Mac and cheese and it was probably the worst Macaroni and cheese I ever had. The noodles were not only dry but burnt for some reason. I went to this hooters location a while back and had a horrible experience. I ordered the steamed shrimp and my boyfriend got the wings. I was almost finished with my food and then of course there was a cricket wrapped in shrimp skin. So obviously it had to have been in that steamer for a while to acquire all the shrimp skin around it. DISGUSTING! So I told the server and she got the manager. All he did was say eww I don't know what that is are you sure you don't want another one? Uhh hell no I don't want another. He walked off laughing. Ok this was my first visit to this location and my wife's first visit to any Hooters and Im happy to say that overall it was really great. We were seated quickly as it was a sunday night and it was just the two of us. Our waitress quickly got us drinks and our fried pickles. The fried pickles came out screaming hot out of the fryer and tasted excellent! After that our wings came out and were also great. Now up until this point everything was 5 out of 5 perfection for a chain restaurant. After we got our receipt I needed to was the sauce off of my hands and this is where the review goes down hill quickly. The bathroom was absolutely horrendous. Dirty walls paper overflowing from the trashcans and just over all disgusting. Ive been to many gas stations with cleaner restrooms. If I had gone to the bathroom before eating we may not have stayed for the food. Overall the staff was friendly and the food was great. Just need to get those bathrooms cleaned up! read more

I got wings and he got a chicken sandwich and they were both undercooked and the waitress was extremely inappropriate when she gave him her phone number on a napkin. So we usually coming here when we come up from Addison for game day with my son...And usually sit at the bar which isn't great but exceptionally better than today's experience! First off we basically had to "self seat" because we were ignored and not greeted when we walked in. Then we had to ask for them to clean the table which apparently is a huge setback for the ladies! We then waited 10 minutes for a server...when we finally got one I had to ask her name because she didn't introduce herself...she wrote it on a napkin. So "Mariah" finally took our order for drinks while we waited for my son....she comes back with luke warm beers with limes...ummm no limes were asked for.. My son arrived and we all ordered...so patiently waiting for food our server "Mariah" walks by our table looks at it and keeps walking knowing we needed refills! No what pissed me off the most was when the food came ...I had to ask for silverware 3 times, I had to ask for crab cracker tool..and then my chicken had no sauce I had to ask for my salad 3 times...and the freaking kicker...the 4th time I asked for utensils they bring me a package of to go utensils...because all of the utensils were dirty?? WTF NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER COME BACK!! Now however the manager was very nice and took care of our issue! read more

Great food. Good looks do not = good service. Today the service was pathetic. Our server maybe came to our table 5 times total and spent the rest of her time at the bar, the t-shirt area and the table behind me. She applied cash to our bill before using a gift card. Does anyone want less than $10 on a gift card to carry around instead of change? That is just common sense. I will keep the service in mind when I want wings. First of all we have been coming to this restaurant for 10 plus years and have had some excellent times up until about 4 months ago. A group of 6 of us waited 15 minutes at a table before being asked for a drink and after that was followed by us having to fulfill our own drink orders at the bar over and over that night. We waited 1.5 hours for our food and it was one of the worst dining experiences we have had. The male manager came up to us and comped a lot of our meal and gave us some vouchers and begged us to give it a second chance.... he was a very nice guy. Today, we decided to visit again only to experience an identical situation. We sat down (four of us) and waited another 10 minutes before someone took our drink order. We literally used one of our vouchers from the previous disaster to order an appetizer. Whats funny is our other friends wouldn't even come up to dine with us because of how horrible their own experiences had been but we had told them management had gotten better and this placed had changed but wow were we wrong. A buddy of ours showed up but was cut off after a few beers because the waitress said he had "Not eaten anything at the restaurant". Then we were looked at like animals on the way out after being given the cold shoulder from both our own waitress and the manager. The female manager on the afternoon of 6/29 has zero management skills. The situation could not have been handled any more poorly. From someone who has an MBA and undergraduate degree in management the management at this restaurant is entirely lacking. I hope whoever owns this establishment will read this review in hopes of saving the restaraunts future. We had hope after our bad episode that this Hooters management had gotten their stuff together but it sure looks like they are still very lacking. I hope the owners get the rookie managers under control of this place or it will prob not be in business for much longer. We are some of the most laid back customers but after being treated like cattle and given the cold shoulder by the female manager we will not go back. It was also disappointing when our friends who refused to join us because of the poor management of this place told us "I told you so" upon letting them know about our most recent visit. Hooters in Denton Raw chicken then they tried to make me pay for both the raw and the one they fixed. We got there and the waitress was shy (I know and working at hooters ) Anyways the place smelled like mildew. The bar no doubt. So then we ordered. I had a 10 pc chicken wing with fries, my husband had a salad, one of my sons had a burger and fries & my other son had the tots with cheese. The chicken comes out, I take a bite blood. So I get the manager who is a woman. She came over and she got me new quickly. Then my son says mom the burgers pink. It was raw raw too. He couldn't eat another one he was already sick so he ate his fries and we just left it alone. Well shortly after a new waitress came over and said new shift (to sum it up). No communication there so the 2 managers there had no clue what happened to me nor did they care. Then the waitress brings me my check and it's got 2 wings and 2 fries. So I tried to explain to them what happened quietly to a waitress but she made me feel so embarrassed. Other customers staring at us. The original waitress hadn't left yet and tried to explain to the new managers what happened. The manager argued and then fixed it I'm guessing because she figured it out. Then the manager comes over and says way to loud she must've not got the info from the earlier manager. So I'm supposed to eat raw chicken and pay for it???? I will never, ever set foot back in this place! I wish I could give zero stars. I don't normally like Hooters but my husband loves the buffalo sandwich. When we walked in there were about 5 waitresses standing around the hostess counter, a couple of them sitting on top of the counter. They didn't even get off the counter when we came in. One of them had 2 of her children there and they kept knocking down the Jenga set every 10 minutes. Our waitress was so quiet and every TV was so loud I kept having to have her repeat herself. The appetizer and drinks came out timely, fried pickles were tasty, ranch seemed like it has some kind of oil added to it. After waiting about 30 minutes for the food she brought 3 of 4 meals. She told me "2 more minutes" on my salad. She stood at the window to the kitchen for FIFTEEN more minutes. Finally, she brought my salad and told me "the chicken isn't done yet". She literally brought my chicken salad WITHOUT the chicken after waiting FIFTEEN minutes!!! At first I didn't blame the waitress; she can't control the kitchen, but when she brought out my incomplete meal and a thought I'd be ok with that I was fuming mad. I told her I didn't want the salad and just the check. The place wasn't very crowded and and now I know why! Not a manager in sight and I was so disgusted I just wanted to leave. This place is awful! What was supposed to be a fun dinner was completely ruined as I left without eating. My son was so upset that I didn't get food he was almost in tears and kept trying to get me to eat his food. 3 stars because sometimes its a 5-star and sometimes its a 1-star restaurant. It all depends on the staff working for this location. My wife and I eat here frequently. If you see the manager is an older man, bald-headed with glasses... You are in LUCK. If he's not there you can definetly tell the service is sub-par with the younger manager (he's a bit stocky and always sitting down talking to customers or playing with the TV's). When it is good, we love it. The food will be so fresh you have to let it sit to cool down before eating. The bartender (Madisson, the blonde one, LOL) memorized our order a week and a half later from our first time there. We were both shocked, because she knew it EXACTLY and we have a lot of add-on's, hold this, sub this kind of orders. We live right by here and love going when craving wings and beer! The waitress was very quick to clean off the requested booth so we could be seated, but after this the experience went down hill. We ordered appetizers- the tots and fried pickles/jalapenos. Our half fried pickles/jalapenos was basically all jalapenos as well as the fact that the food was nearly dead when it reached us. We then went on to order 2 lbs of crawfish each for two of us and sliders with burgers and chicken. Our crawfish came out, but my husbands sliders took almost 20 minutes. Please do not blame the kitchen for mistakes made by a server- biggest pet peeve. Admit you forgot. If it had not been absolute terrible service on Nicole's part I may believe the fact that the kitchen had to fry more, but because I went without a refill, my husband went without a refill and we were denied a large dessert almost 15 minutes before close I just highly doubt it. When a restaurant says they close at 11pm, I'm not one to stay but maybe 10 minutes after close, but I expect to be served until close. As for the manager James he did take in my complaint and offer a dessert, but by then they were already closed and I didn't want to add any extra work. This is an updated review. I used to love this place. I'm probably one of the few people who actually went there for the food. Best wings in the nation, I once thought. Then they changed their hot sauce. Why anyone would change what made them famous I will never understand. That was as stupid is Coca Cola changing their recipe back in the eighties. Shortly after that, they changed their homemade ranch dressing. Ruined it too. I used to make fun of all of the other nasty wings places because of how small their wings are. Then Hooters in all of their wisdom change to those small cheaper wings. Then somebody in their organization came up with the bright idea to remove the little wing flapper which was the only thing left that set them apart. So now instead of being the place that serves the largest wings that are easy to eat because of the wing flapper "handle" with the best sauce and the best dipping Ranch in the nation they are now sadly just another wing place served by some pretty girls. I guess when I'm hungry for wings, I'll just eat at home as I will not ever be returning to Hooters. If I want to see pretty girls I'll go to Redneck Heaven. Our mouths were watering for Hooters "breaded" wings tonight so we dropped by. It had a nice crowd but was not too busy. It took forever to get our order. While waiting the beer glass was empty way too long. After about 50 minutes the order came out naked and not beaded. They took them back and started over. After a period of time we told the waitress to bring us the wrong order so we had something to munch on until our correct order came out. The waitress came out and explained that the chef dropped them in the trash right in front of her. If the chef was that mad, we didn't trust the next order coming to us.
