I'm extremely disappointed with my experience involving an employee at Hooters. A few weeks ago, I spoke with a manager regarding concerning behavior from a worker named Sami, including unprofessional interactions with my husband during his visit. I felt the situation was inappropriate and brought it to management's attention, expecting it to be taken seriously.Unfortunately, nothing appears to have been addressed or followed up on. It's frustrating to feel ignored, especially when the issue involves employee conduct that reflects poorly on the business. Customers should be able to trust that staff will act professionally and that management will handle concerns properly when they're reported. Our wings tasted great, but my side Caesar salad was loaded with a ton of Parmesan cheese (too much for me personally). The garlic habanero dry rub has to be my favorite seasoning for their wings. I got 20 3 mile island original extra wet a few days ago, they were the best hooters wings I've had in at least 10 years. They were just like the ones I got in Florida back in the early 90's. No dray spots, lots of extra sauce and crumbs on plate when done. I wasn't sure about this when I first walked in. I was alone and sat at the bar. The bartender was playing UNO with a customer. I got the menus that was laminated and had no prices on it. I ordered a diet Cooke and 10 wings. Half hot. Half medium. Curley fries and cheese sauce. They were out of cheese sauce so substituted queso. The wings came out and they were all hot and no medium but tasted terrific. The Curley fries were fresh and queso good. The waitress said she ordered me 5 more wings bc they al looked the same to her too but they never were delivered which wasn't a big deal since I was full. My family and I used to come here a lot, but they struggle with keeping servers and cooks it appears. They cleaned out management a while back which helped but it's still hit or miss how long it will take to get your food. Sometimes we get it very quickly while other times we are waiting 30+ minutes. This location is very close to our house, but we never know when it will be closed. They were closing evenly off Friday nights a few months ago. Visited the LaVista, NE location on Sunday, February 2, 2025. We dined at the bar around 3pm. Food was good but not the customer service. The meal was paid with a credit card totaling $39.47. My credit card reflected $79.94 a few days later. I visited with a manager on February 7 to address the problem. This is theft by deception. My family went to hooters tonight for dinner. It was about 5:00pm when we walked in. There were signs sloppily taped to the front doors stating they were closing at 9:00pm due to staffing shortages. We waited to be seated and we're finally greeted and sat. Our drink order was taken promptly and sadly that was the best of our service. Our waitress brought our drinks and disappeared for almost 15 minutes before finally coming back and asking us if we were ready to order. We placed our order. One chicken salad, one baked wings 10pc, one roasted mild sauce 10pc and two side salads. The chicken salad looked good but had several pieces of frozen lettuce. The naked wings were fine. The roasted wings were full of salt and the side salads were frozen. Mine had moldy cucumbers on it and tons of slimy lettuce. The waitress disappeared for another 20-30 minutes while we sat with bad food and empty drink cups. She finally came back once all our plates were pushed to the center of the table and asked if we were doing ok. We told her about our food. She didn't know how to respond and just left and got the manager. When the manager came up to the table, he looked disheveled and didn't know what to do. He just looked at us. Didn't introduce himself nor his title. We explained the situation and he said he would take the salads off the bill. He then turned and walked away. Not once did he apologize about the inconvenience. On top of that, both he and the waitress left the tainted food sitting in front of us! At least remove the stuff from the table. We waited for another 10 minute after the manager fiasco to have our server finally come back to the table. We asked for our bill again and paid. Staffing up front wasn't an issue. The servers were having their fun with certain tables while ignoring others. They may have only had one cook, but they had a manager who didn't care. A group of 6 or so guys walked in and the manager pointed to a sports bar on the opposite side of the strip mall for them to try essentially turning away business. This manager needs business managing lessons. Walking around the restaurant with your favorite drink cup acting "cool" is not managing. If you want to do that, go work at a run down bar and not a nation wide food chain. read more

I want to begin this review by saying my server Alyssa was one of the best servers I've had at Hooters. Greets you with a warm smile and ensures you don't need anything while she checks on other tables. She was great. The wings were not the best Hooters wings and not the worst. I had the boneless and they were a little crunchier than I like. The mozzarella sticks were good. Now the thing that has me rating it at two stars is that management seems more worried about corporate than their customers. Certain TVs couldn't be changed yet it was March Madness and no one there wanted to watch the Alpine network. Servers can usually sit with you but apparently, that's against policy. I currently live in Virginia and they all sit with you and they even have more customers. I'll probably never rate a Hooters over 3 stars just because I have places I prefer to eat. Hooters is always hooters. There are reasons why you attend and it could be a various of reasons. However, my wife and I like Hooters because she knows the beer will be ice cold and I love the wings. This one seems a lot more open and modern versus the cabin-feel of the ones near my house back in Illinois. Today was the first time I wanted to try something different. Instead of hot wings, I tried to Honey Chipotle wings and they were good. Nothing wrong with the flavor because it was exactly what it was, but I was expecting more. However, I won't ding them for that. Our server was very friendly. I think it was Ashleigh or something similar. She said that she recently moved in the area and was very nice. I am glad we had here because it seems the other ones were ignoring their tables, but she was very attentive to our tables and would constantly check on us. I am glad she was our server. Hooters wings is always consistent with their food. You know what you will be getting and this location feels much more modern. So Hooter's is a franchise. Which essentially means it can be a bit of a roll of the dice in terms of what you get. Like, for example, the Chinatown DC location was one of the worst experiences of my eating life. But the SE Vegas location was so ridiculously crazy good. So I rolled the dice here in Omaha. And well, it didn't turn out so good. Fortune did not favor me here. So the delivery aspect was...crap. But we can't put that on this location / restaurant. They can't control that UberEats delivered it nearly 2 hrs after it was scheduled in advance for delivery for. Or that it was cold. But what this location can be held responsible for... The total crap of it. I wish I had taken pics just to show y'all. So completely unappetizing. And why even bother offering options like extra crispy, extra wet, or all flats or drums if they don't follow those? The wings were the tiniest, nastiest things I'd had. Just how can the quality of the meat / wings vary sooo wildly by location? We ordered a wide variety and it was a complete and total let down. $95 for practically inedible food that was 2 hrs late and cold. Whereas, with a wing competitor, we could've gotten 3x the amount of food for half the price (for reals). So what is so bad? The quality of the wings. Tiny, greasy, and yuck. Lack of sauce despite "extra wet." Horrid ranch and blue cheese dipping sauces. Couldn't even tell the difference between the two. What is good? Well, this goes for pretty much all locations. The spicy garlic sauce is one of the best wing sauces ever created. It packs a flavorful punch that is just so yum. And their fried shrimp, while sometimes better than others, is usually quite good. (Pretty meh here, but the shrimp was actually edible.) Especially with the spicy garlic sauce. Also the curtly fries (when not undercooked and cold) are a fab side, particularly with the cheese sauce. The queso is also not bad. It's on the liquidy side (which is actually my preference) and has a good mix of flavors that pleases everyone, even those opposed to spicy things. But I just can't get over how much of a letdown this locale's experience was. $95 worth of food and I was left wholly and completely unsatisfied, disgusted, and hungry. Like, literally, I could never have imagined more unappetizing wings. Such a bitter letdown. read more

Not only was service less than stellar at the bar (over lunch and not busy) but the wings were also less than average. Our server couldn't take our order fast enough ... so she could get on her phone and chat with guys sitting just a stool away. This was my first time at hooters and the experience was amazing, the wings were super good and my server Sicily was so sweet and helpful.

I will start by saying that my Buffalo Shrimp was the best that I ever had. The reason for one star... Bartender was not the best. She was too busy playing cards with one regular. I witnessed one couple attempt to grab their food that was setting in the staging area for an extended amount of time. This same couple had to ask a different server to bring them more drinks and to pay their bill. My wife's fries were cold and didn't eat them. We could never get the bartender's attention because she was playing cards still. She ignored another individual that set down during that time as well. Also, charging for one ranch with an order is ridiculous, especially when the container was only half way filled. read more

When one of my sistahs from anotha mistah decided on Hooters to celebrate her birthday a bunch of us were eager to enjoy some drinks, eat some delicious wings, and have a few laughs together. What we didn't expect was a wait of almost 2 hours just to sit down. Followed by another 45 mins for some of our party to get their beers or margaritas. Granted, it was their opening weekend and we were a party of about 12 but as we were waiting we could easily see tables that could have urgently been bussed, cleaned, and pushed together to accommodate our party. We approached the hostess a few times regarding the wait and all we got were apologies and excuses. We are a pretty understanding bunch but after waiting even longer for our drinks then our food we were getting a bit restless. Most of our party had gotten there at 6, waiting to be seated, we finally received our food at 9. But it was only after Will, who works at the Hooters in Council Bluffs, came along and took care of us. The waitresses did their best to get what we ordered and asked for, but it was Will that truly took care of us and deserves a big shout out from all of us that night. He took the reigns of our table to gave us 20% off our orders along with free dessert. When the food finally reached us it was delicious and exactly how I remembered the wings to be. All of us enjoyed it. We didn't expect to end up leaving the restaurant at 11 and my girl Lyndsey felt frustrated, disappointed, and sorry that all of us endured the initial customer service that we did, but happy that we still enjoyed our time together. I'm uncertain if she will go back anytime soon to Hooters, despite the proximity it is from our workplace, but I know that I will be ordering takeout wings again and skip the dine in experience for now. read more

I always have enjoyed Hooters wings, I get them with the 3 mile island sauce, it's got a nice heat but not overwhelming hot. This was close to our hotel so we figured why not. We got seated quickly but then sat for almost 15 minutes before getting service. We were about 30 seconds from walking out when one came over and gave us a song and dance about not knowing we were seated where we were despite her walking past us 3 times. We ordered fried pickles to start which were good then ordered 2 different wings, mine with 3 mile island and Bobbies with garlic parm. Both were really good but to be honest we both still had a bad taste in our mouth from being ignored for so long. Maybe they figured someone with full tattoo sleeves and Harley shirts wouldn't be a good tip which was a bad mistake. I always tip based on the service I get and am not afraid to tip 20% or more if its warranted, but also not afraid to tip less if I get bad service. So overall it was kind of a bummer with good food. I've ordered wings to go a few times since they opened and have been mostly pleased with both the service and product. I only get the breaded bone-in wings, so I can't comment on anything else on the menu. But if you get wings to go I suggest you opt for sauce on the side. That way the wings stay crispy until you get home, then toss them in the sauce. Delicious. I've noticed the size of the wings has varied greatly. First time was big and plump, second time was puny, third and fourth times were decent. I have to attribute it to COVID-based chicken supply problems. The service has always been very friendly but on one occasion I showed up at the prescribed time and stood around for another 15 min while they finished preparing my order. I came to this hooters, because the one in council bluffs is horrible, not even worth 1/2 star! Emmy is a wonderful server, she right away for me my 10 piece , my tall Coronas, and my 16 piece wings. What great service! Everybody here is very kind, and has a great sense of humor! I am so excited to come back! What makes this place work, is the fact that there is only like 3 beautiful servers here and they are all working very hard. What a wonderful team they have working In the background!
