Ok so I'm going to be as politically correct as possible. Hooters is known for what?? B@@bs, bear, and wings. This location was kind of a let down to me and my buddies. The service was kind of poor. Everyone seemed to busy to really do anything and the place was not busy. The wings were over cooked and dry. There were still little feathers on the wings that had been fried on. The beer was cold but it's hard to mess up a cold cheap beer like Miller Light. But to top it off the waiting staff did not have your typical Hooters qualities. They were cute but had big egos to match. They didn't have the signature owl eyes we expect at this establishment. Poor food and poor atmosphere won't bring me back. read more

Started when the server came to take our order and told us to hang on she had to get an order book, then after almost 10 minutes our server came back asking the other member of my party to pick a different flavor for his wings because they were out of Cajun spice, when the order was finally delivered to us we asked for a knife and fork for the boneless wings she said she would be right back, after five minutes of waiting I got up and went to the podium and asked for flatware, the hostess got for me, my server was also at the podium and told me she had to take an order and input the order, she would have gotten to us. If you're looking for great wings and beer look no further! I used to always love visiting Hooters with my friends to watch UFC fights back in the day but unfortunately the closest one to us closed down years ago. A friend suggested we make a trip out here for their all you can eat boneless wings and fries Wednesday night special. I was so down for this as well as 8 of my homies. Now I have been to many all you can eat boneless wing places (mostly gators) and it's usually about $11-12 and you get what seems to be deep fried Tyson chicken nuggets. But not at Hooters! By far the best quality boneless chicken wings I've had at a restaurant and they have such a wide variety of sauces to choose from! These wings came out so succulent and perfectly crispy on the outside! Oh and they come with ranch and blue cheese for either 9.99 for one plate or 14.99 for all you can eat wings and fries! Great deal! The only downside to my experience was the time the wings came out. We all put in our first order at the same time yet 10 minutes later only 4 orders came out and 5 minutes later the rest came out. Other than this it was a great experience. We used to frequent this location 3-4 times a month for years but have not been to Hooters in well over a year. We wanted to check it out and see what was new on the menu and have something different to eat. The menu was pretty much the same with little to nothing new to choose. We ordered some buffalo shrimp and a pitcher of Bud Light. It was taking quite a while to get our beer and the server explained the beer was coming out foamy - uh oh! Of course, the beer was mostly flat from the bartender trying to get rid of the foam. It was not very cold. The buffalo shrimp were ok, kinda lukewarm, but not bad. We didn't complain about the beer because we decided we were not going to stay and order dinner or any more beer. Ordered dinner from Hooters last night. Got it for curbside, fail! Wife had to go in, nobody came after we followed their directions and hit the arrival tab. I ordered a burger on texas toast, fail! They gave me a bun, I ordered it with ketchup, mustard and mayo, again fail! As the wife waited as requested, our food sat, so it was cold! She was there on time. So disappointed in the service and quality! I think I'll be scratching Hooters of my go to list. Best Hooters experience I've had yet. I've been to several Hooters thru out the years and usually the best thing about it isn't the food or service but not at this Hooters. We were greeted immediately and seated promptly. Our server (Abby) was pleasant and attentive constantly checking on us. We got the chilli cheese fries to start then moved on to a Philly cheese steak, and finished the the peanut butter chocolate dessert. Washed it down with a locally brewed I-4 ipa. I was pleasantly surprised by all the food. Everything tasted good and came out quick. The dessert was a perfect size to share for the wife and I. The manager came by twice to check on us. I'm use to happy Hooter girls greeting you at the door. Bartender wasn't much better. This place is understaffed overworked girls and they don't look happy. I ordered the wings, but still waiting to see a Hooter girl with a smile. Heard one of the girls call the manager Ethan. Not a friendly guy. Too bad this is in the middle of many hotels and there's a lot of restaurants around so you'd think they'd pull in people with the regular business travelers. Ribs came out really good and bartender did ask me how everything was. Took about 40 minutes to get 10 wings and fries. The guy next to me who came in much later got his in 10 minutes. When I was looking around for restaurants near my Orlando hotel, this Hooters came up. It is literally walking distance from maybe ten different hotel chains. When I told my gf there was a Hooters near our hotel, she (size 36DD) said "I'll fit right in," even though she had never been to a Hooters before. The reputation precedes it, as does my prior knowledge of their excellent seafood. She was so impressed with the food we ate there 3 times in 5 days (the location, too, was a factor). Like I said, awesome buffalo shrimp, fish sandwiches, burgers, chicken wings are about the best you can find anywhere. I would easily give 4 stars but one caveat--some of the Hooters Girls (I'd say 1 out of 4) just have no concept of customer service (not coming out to your table, forgetting about you, taking forever with drinks). I did ask one of the Girls why the "Bleu Cheese Burger Special" was 50 cents More than just ordering a "Make Your Own" burger with blue cheese, and she said "They're just trying to rip you off!" This is by far one of the better locations I've been to. I LOVE hooters! And this one was super fun to hang out at to get out of the Florida rain. I ordered the cajun wings for the first time here, and was so in Love I had to take some with me. I had a pitcher of corona light, and a couple shots while I waited for my wings. The kitchen is always a bit slow here, but the food is exactly what you would expect from Hooters. Pretty good. I wish there was a location closer to winter park. That being said, it is your typical hooters. No longer delightfully tacky yet refined, the slogan has changed. Not sure why, but it is what it is.
