I was immediately told that this was a "customer problem" and not the restaurant's responsibility. I found that statement to be very offensive and dismissive. I explained that I understand very well how Uber and DoorDash work and that when orders are handed to drivers without verifying the pickup, it creates an opportunity for orders to be stolen. In fact, TWO separate orders were picked up by the same driver. That raises a serious concern about how orders are being verified before they are handed out. Rather than listening to what I was explaining, the manager became extremely rude and spoke to me in a condescending and disrespectful manner. He told me he didn't need to hear it, got in my face, and told me to leave while smiling and giving me a dismissive little wave goodbye. I was not disrespectful; I was very direct while trying to explain the situation and why this happens. Being treated this way in front of other customers and staff was extremely hurtful and humiliating. Regardless of who ultimately loses money from a stolen order, everyone is affected: the customer, the restaurant, Uber/DoorDash, and the legitimate driver who arrives to pick up the order. This also hurts honest delivery drivers who take their jobs seriously and do the right thing. Drivers like myself rely on restaurants to properly verify orders so that when we arrive to pick up a customer's already-paid-for order, we aren't blamed for something another driver did. We should not be treated as though we are all part of the problem simply because we work through a delivery platform. I have never had an issue with this restaurant before, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Drivers are also customers of your business and play a role in bringing business to your restaurant. A manager should be able to handle a situation like this without becoming confrontational with someone who is simply trying to explain what happened. A customer is a customer, regardless of whether they are dining inside the restaurant, ordering through an app, or having their food delivered. A delivery customer is not beneath you and should never be treated as though they are less important. Because of the way I was treated, I will not be picking up any personal food orders or deliveries from this restaurant again, and I will not be recommending it to anyone. Businesses depend on customers and delivery drivers, and the way people are treated can affect whether they choose to return. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from that will treat customers and drivers with respect at all times. Completely unacceptable!

Walked in past manager with two friends, ordered drinks, 15 minutes of waiting for the rest of our drinks (draft beer and rum&coke), that was the start of a terrible experience. After the drinks finally arrived, I grew aggravated with the morbidly obese manager hovering (less than two feet) over our table for another 10 minutes (while pointing his cell phone directly at me) before I walked out. I told my bud's I was getting an uber and left. The server Annie was great, she's the only reason I would even give one star to this place. The manager... either needs to get more customer service training, or get a job haunting houses NO WAY I WILL EVER GO BACK THERE ! read more

The service is always really good here. The naked wings are awesome! Prices are excellent. My only complaint was that the last time we ordered take-out from here there was hardly any sauce on our wings. We ordered medium and they tasted very mild due to the lack of sauce. This is the first time that has ever happened here and I have been many times. Usually everything is pretty tasty. The garden salad is huge, fresh and a great value for the price. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed spot to have a casual meal and a good beer. read more

I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Dunk and waited quite a while for my food. When it finally arrived, I thought the long wait was the only issue. A few minutes later, a gentleman from another table came over and told me that his girlfriend had originally been served my food. She had ordered her meal without cheese, realized it was the wrong order, and had already picked at the food with her hands before giving it back to the waitress. According to him, his girlfriend specifically told the waitress that it was the wrong order and returned it. Instead of having the kitchen remake the meal, that same plate was then brought to me and served as my food. That is completely unacceptable and, more importantly, extremely unsanitary. Once food has been served to another customer and handled at their table, it should never be taken back and served to someone else. I really appreciate the gentleman coming over and telling me what happened because otherwise I would have had no idea. This wasn't simply an incorrect order or slow service--it was a serious food-handling and sanitation issue. I hope management addresses this with the staff immediately. Customers should be able to trust that the food placed in front of them has not already been served to and handled by another customer. If you want, I can also make it a little more aggressive and attention-grabbing for Yelp, while keeping it factual so management can't easily dismiss it.

I'm usually not impressed with waitstaff to be honest with you I just find them either over eager to get a good tip a rushed and rude none of the servers of this location are like that especially not Eric who somewhat we've seen treats every guest like a welcome guest. as I had a sad and emotional day his ability to do his job and make us laugh and to be on top of his other tables was more than a balancing act it was a reflection of how serious he takes his job and how proud he is to work for a company like longhorn. he made that very clear not flat out but as he talked about the company and especially the employees in the management of the fruitville location. to me he is the definition of a team player. although we've never had bad service Eric remembers us and makes us feel like we need to come back more often and that we will. the food was excellent the service was excellent the new parmesan cheese fries might be a little too fattening since we devoured all of them and three things of ranch dressing love the fries! Thanks Eric and staff in the front of the house and back for making our night and for your service. I will say I've ate at the other location and Sarasota in fact we ate there last week for lunch. and in my opinion the service and the cleanliness of the fruitville location should be highlighted because there is a difference. I highly recommend anyone who's thinking about going to LongHorn steakhouse who hasn't been and I can recommend Eric as a server because I will guarantee you that he would be on top of your table and welcome you like he welcomes us.
