The food was good other than the classic hot wings. Those were insanely dry and basically inedible. I ordered the chicken tenders with Texas toast, as well as a mocktail (I forgot which one it was). The chicken tenders were very good. The Texas toast was nothing special--just buttered toast cooked on a grill. The mocktail was filled with ice, so I finished it in about two sips. There were only about 3-4 workers, so we didn't get much attention. I even think the manager had to step in, so they were clearly severely understaffed. The waitress serving our table kept forgetting orders. When we asked for the check, she said she'd bring it over. About ten minutes later, she came back and asked if we had received it, which we hadn't. She then brought it about two minutes later. Overall, the food was decent but nothing extraordinary. The funnel fries were okay, but I think they really need caramel sauce to take them up a notch. The only dipping sauces available were raspberry and chocolate, which I didn't think were the best choices. The atmosphere was fine, I guess. I didn't really feel anything special when entering the restaurant. On top of that, we waited about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us or showed us to our table because there wasn't a waitress available. The bad; hidden costs, not a restaurant in the world charges for ranch or blue cheese with a wing order. Absolutely scandalous! Their response, "we make it fresh daily." Once again, other than fast food places, every restaurant makes their ranch fresh, a flavor packet, mayo, buttermilk & a wisk, it's not difficult. Fresh blue cheese dressing daily? Doubtful, it seems they threw blue cheese crumbles into ranch dressing. A cheap fake. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive and friendly. It seemed they had labor cost issues as only 3 servers were on the floor with an almost full house, slowing down the ticket times. I really want to like this place as their wing sauce options are awesome! The service inconsistency is blatantly obvious. Bartenders are very focused and hard working, floor staff not nearly as focused and spend more time talking to each other than doing table checks while their customers eat/drink. Spend more time/money on a better training program and maybe be more particular on who you hire. A pretty smile doesn't necessarily translate into a promising employee. They should display a knowledge of how to serve customers in a restaurant setting. The Mesa Hooter's has some of the same issues as this location, although their restaurant isn't nearly as clean as Tucson's. Having been a restaurant/bar manager for almost 2 decades, I judge my restaurant experiences first on great service, secondly great tasting food. This Hooter's has a lot of potential but needs to tweak the things I mentioned. I'll rate it at 3.5 stars read more

We visited on a Saturday, so while the service was a little slow, it was understandable given how busy they were. Unfortunately, what really left me with an unpleasant experience was the condition of the women's restroom. The stalls do not lock, and the handicap-accessible stall was out of order. I mentioned the issue to my waitress, but her response was that the stalls "have been like that for about a year." I was honestly surprised and disappointed to hear this, especially since it suggests that the staff is aware of the problem but that nothing has been done to address it. I understand that things can take time to fix, but restroom privacy and accessibility should be a basic priority. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary repairs. read more

It's a Hooters. In East Tucson. You pretty much know what you are going to get. I always get Daytona Beach Wings and Shrimp Tacos. I don't think much about other offerings and have been disappointed when straying. My favorite drink is the American Mule. But the Daytona wings and shrimp tacos are good. Like very solid. Maybe my favorite wings flavor. Quality (3): You just hope the guy in the kitchen is having a good day. Wings can come out a bit overcooked. But the Daytona sauce is on point. Shrimp tacos come out fresh tasting with lots of flavor. The shrimp carry a nice char and sauce is both tangy and lightly spicy. Service (5): Almost always get a gal who is enjoying her work. Friendly and funny. They do friendly push for upscale...but it's Hooters. Not a destination for uninterrupted dining experience. But order to food at table is very quick (less than 5). Ambiance (4): Sets standard for sports bar. Plenty of options to sit at bar, table, booth, or patio. 28 TVs. Scantily clad young women. Value (3): My order plus 2 drinks plus 24% tip came out to $78. When you get there, ask for Tiana to be your server...she is the best I have ever had anywhere. She is always efficient and very pleasant. The ambiance is pretty normal, and it appears that there are lots of people at the bar who are there to watch TV, drink, and eat in that order. The food is normally good but overpriced. I usually ask for medium buffalo sauce, but they have been out of that for the last couple of weeks. That shouldn't happen. I still feel that their buffalo chicken is my preference. During my two hour visit, they managed to serve me 25 wings in total. I was still hungry. The additional orders of wings are pathetically small, lacking any comparison to ANY OTHER restaurant selling wings. Hooters is what it is. They serve good comfort food. The Tucson location was better than I expected. As a retired Air Force officer, I am glad that they depict the A-10. Thank you for that! My wife enjoyed the chicken garden salad. I liked the bacon mac and cheeseburger. Our waitress was nice. One of my biggest pet peeves of restaurants is being served a dirty menu. I understand that you serve wings, but as your menus are plastic, please wipe them down after each use. As COVID-19 did not occur that long ago, this should still be a common practice. Our server took a long time to get to us. Our food was great but I couldn't give 5 stars because the service was just not there. We sat for at least 10 minutes or more before we were asked what we wanted to drink (and not by our server), and then our server only checked on us once, thankfully she was at least nice and we didn't need anything but as soon as she came to check on us and we said we were fine, she brought our tab. Absolute, worst service I've ever experienced at this location in the 5 or so years we've been coming. The Friday night manager literally told us "you can't order shots at the bar" after we ordered over $100 in shots for five people of our 11 person group. We ordered them from the bar so the waitress wasn't overwhelmed by food and regular drink orders of the 11 people at the same time. So we decided to stop ordering drinks all together after the rude treatment from the manager. Then the worst service continued. They messed up at least 2 of the orders and totally forget an entire meal of a guest. Once they figured out they forgot the 11th meal the party was half done eating. Then they brought the wrong meal out to that person. THE WRONG MEAL! I don't know what happened here tonight but I won't be returning here again. This is a go-to when in AZ and its a Sunday.... Football season only. My friends end up going care quite often and since we were in town and our games were playing at the same time (packers and 9ers), Figured we had here again. We were immediately set and and arrived 5 minutes before kick off. The manager or supervisor was accommodating and trying to get the Tv's to play the games where we were sitting. The downfall is there was only 2 TVs to my left but multiple Tv's further in the distance. However he was able to get the 49er game to play closer. The quality of food had not wavered and to my surprise they had ithe mice surprised they had daily specials not just for Sunday football. Everybody had enjoyed their meal and the boneless wings were cooked perfectly and combinating despite having multiple large groups that she tended to. They had a bigger rush for morning football games and we're in the midst of cleansing and sanitizing and washing no washing so we were not immediately brought out silverware but when it was brought to her attention it was immediately rectified. To my surprise the honey rings were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious I did not care for the sauce that came with it and Ended up dipping them in ranch instead. Service was excellent, very prompt and friendly. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and my friends did fish & chips and mahi sandwich. Everything was really good. I'm trying to eat super healthy and they accommodated my request with my salad. Both of my friends cleaned their plates so that was a good sign. We stopped by and enjoyed eating outside on the lanai in the fresh air with TVs to watch and music is playing on speakers they also have ceiling fans a place to enter and exit from gate to parking lot instead of going inside. Our waitress was Cat. Very upbeat friendly and helpful. Refilled our beverages without asking and checked on us often. I have had the blackened mahi mahi sandwich at every location I previously dined across the states and today was no different. Delicious and consistently prepared with fresh slaw and toppings that compliment the fish. Appetizer we ordered the buffalo shrimp very light and tasty. We went to Hooters on Broadway on New Years Day. It wasnt super packed, but it was busy. There were like, 3-4 waitresses on duty. It seemed as if they needed more, just to get the drinks and appetizers coming. The sad part was, I very politely asked for NO ONIONS or Pico on my "Baja" fish tacos. It came with it, PILED HIGH. Next, i asked if I could have Corn tortilla vs. Flour tortilla. The waitress said, "they dont offer corn". (But they have corn tortilla chips!) I asked if my step grand son could have orange juice. Waitress said, " we dont serve O.J." (yet, my last drink was Blue Moon and Orange Juice). My boyfriend didn't even eat his Garlic Parmesean wings. He didn't like the flavor. Literally...... I won't be returning any time soon. I asked to have my money returned for my meal and my boyfriends' wings.
