Good pizza. Friendly staff. We sat outside no complaints of it being too hot. It's was shady and had a fan going. We went during UofA graduation and as busy as it was we still sat fast and had great service.

I was given a recommendation to check this place out by a friend and I'm glad I did! They have a large selection of beers and cocktails, the waitress gave a few recommendations that turned out great. Lots of pizza options for both vegetarians and meat lovers with flavorful ingredients and delicious thick crust. Patio has gas fires and heat lamps when it's cool out. They have a DJ a few nights a week and seen popular with the college crowd.

Came here for lunch, I didn't love or hate it. I got a watermelon coconut marg and that was delicious, the burger for me was average. I would probably order something else if I were to come back. Our server was super nice and checked up on us often and overall the vibes inside were fun overall.

Went here starving and must say the staff was very friendly and attentive however the food was not very good. My burger was very dry and I personally did not enjoy the flavor. We also got a pretzel for the table that was just okay. The fries were the best part of the meal for sure. I'm not saying I would never return but I definitely would not be ordering the same items if I were to.

Went there on none other than St. Patricks day. As you can imagine, they were very busy. Considering that, I think the service was great. There were a lot of people drinking and it could get crazy but everyone working there was still patient and provided good service. I had their special of the day Shepherds pie and it was delicious! I am definitely going back there to try different food. Overall great experience. I have to say the music was a little too loud but again, it was st Patrick's day plus the restaurant is near university. So I can't really blame them.

Absolutely loved this place!! We had the most amazing server, her name was Natalie and she was the cutest and so helpful! We had never been here before and she did amazing at recommending and describing the different items on the menu! This place is a great spot, super close to campus and is very lively! We will definitely be coming back to visit the frog and our lovely server Natalie!!

We spent many School Spring Breaks in Arizona enjoying Spring Training and Frog & Firkin was always a stop for us for a good , fun meal. It had been several years since our last visit and we decided to give it a go for lunch . Always liked the lady Di sandwich so that's what I ordered. Our table also had a hamburger and a few beers and a couple margaritas. We sat outside at a large table. There is also inside seating which would have been a better choice as we ended up in a big downpour that day. The staff were helpful in getting us out of the rain and cleaning up. The food was not as good as I remember but it was still good. I think it will alway be nostalgic of our good times in Tucson and hold good memories but probably not be a frequent eatery for us. Fun place for some snacks and a few cold beers with friends. Staff was great!

Not a bad place to hang out or get a drink, but if you're looking for a restaurant to eat at, I'd keep searching. I've been here a few times to eat and have been consistently disappointed my the meals. This most recent trip, a friend and I split the Firkin Cowboy Up Burger and the Lady Di sandwich. Our waiter was chill, but the restaurant was "out of half pound burgers" so they gave us a smaller one and said it'd be discounted, but it was not. Not a good sign that the dry and bland burger turned turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The chicken sandwich had some funky flavors and the buns were rock solid. They also brought out some of the food out incorrectly. Overpriced and underwhelming

Very well balanced, a lot of effort went into it. We had 30 min wait in small upstairs area for our table on a Thursday night. They don't have much waiting area, most nights you have to wait outside. It was over a 100 after the sun went down, so I'm glad there was room available. Ordered the vodka chicken Parmesan and the burrata. They were both amazing. The pasta that came with the chicken Parmesan was super tender light, tasted fresh. Their pasta is all handmade daily. All the ingredients were simple and fresh for the burrata. The pesto was chunky and gave a good texture contrast. The tomatoes were very flavorful, olive oil and balsamic were all high quality. Very flavorful dish. I liked that you could order a half order. We wanted to try it, with two entrees a full order would have been too much. I would definitely return for both. Tried the pepperoni, sausage and jalapeño pizza and it was good as well. It's very toasty and dark on the crust, made in a a very high temperature pizza oven. We had some leftover pizza to take home. I was definitely more impressed with their pasta, good handmade pasta at an affordable price is hard to find. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area and try other items. My sister ordered a salad and she had to modify some things due to her auto immune condition. It got screwed up, but the server was so apologetic and they fixed it. It wasn't the end of the world to us. She kinda deals with this all the time since her diet is super restrictive. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, checking in with us. It is a great crust, not quite as good as Luna's was (RIP), IYKYK, their pies edged this place out in consistency and crust flavor with that special yeast. The pies are somewhat expensive, which is fine, but really the toppings are scant considering. And the aforementioned inconsistency, - slightly higher prices are fine , but they should be consistent. Make it feel worthwhile. The service is a joke, sometimes someone will greet you, sometimes maybe not. It used to be you could walk into a place, even 15 minutes before they closed, and order food. Not so much with this place( and it's a pizza place ?!!?)-which is odd because you'd think they want money. I digress. I've gone in, in the past, half hour before closed, and been told they were out of dough! Pizza place out of the main ingredient. Obviously bad meal prep, planning, mgmt, -however you want to plate it. -Now-, there's an ordering system online to , idk, 'help things be orderly ' , maybe. You can't even go on 50 minutes before they close and place an order. What a joke. ...Likely to put out that image of high demand, the rarest , most prized, kneaded dough by Swedish monks,, that you must plan a day ahead if you want to partake in. More likely, they'll start tagging on service charges and having slightly inflated prices through online ordering. BET.

We were seated right away since it wasn't busy, and things started off simple enough with bread and oil. We asked for parmesan to go with it, and our server seemed unsure how to respond, eventually bringing out packet parm even though fresh was clearly available. Not a huge deal, but we found it odd. A little later, we asked for more bread. The server told us they were out but, "that they could probably make more". . He relayed it to the woman handling bread, who then made more for another table and skipped us entirely. He mentioned it again to her when he saw us looking in their direction. she looked over, and still nothing. It was awkward, since the restaurant is the size of a closet. Once the pizza came, we got up ourselves to ask for more oil and parmesan, since our waiter hadn't come to check back. We got the oil instantly since we brought us the bowl, but no parmesan. At one point my son asked for bread, again, finally it came and the server literally tossed it on the table without a word. We said thank you and he completely ignored all of us. It didn't get any better from there. The bill was dropped on the table without a word either. My husband and I kept looking at each other with confused looks. We turned the bill in with our CC, and once the server returned it, same thing, not a single interaction. We also watched the same server make another table feel like an inconvenience over something as simple as asking for a bottle of Coke instead of a can. The customer ended up backing down just to avoid the hassle. The server then told the guest, "it's fine, I can get it for you!" On top of that, staff were wearing gloves while handling food, but also touching chairs, phones, and other surfaces; kind of defeats the purpose I think? My boys also had a weird interaction with a staff near the bathrooms who was very rude to them and accused them of cutting the line, despite no one waiting. It was very strange. Bottom line: the food is incredible, no question. But the service was so bad it's hard to ignore. Best advice, get it to go and skip the experience inside.

Absolutely Worth the Drive!…read more We were visiting from West Phoenix and decided to try Falora Pizza, and I'm so glad we did! This place is definitely worth the drive. It's a smaller restaurant, but it's beautiful inside and has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The music was lovely, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. We ordered the Margherita pizza, Bianca pizza, Gnocchi, Piastra zucchini noodles, two sodas, and a Prosecco. Everything we tried was so good! The pizza crust was one of my favorite parts. It was cooked perfectly and had that nice little crunch without being too hard. The Margherita was delicious, and the Bianca was just as good. The Piastra zucchini noodles with house-made pesto, heirloom cherry tomatoes and spinach were AMAZING! I'm honestly still thinking about them. The Gnocchi with shiitake mushrooms, vegetable broth and ginger glaze was also delicious and something a little different. We had four dishes, drinks and Prosecco, and our total was under $99, which I thought was a great price for everything we enjoyed. I also thought it was really cool that when you check out, there's an option to claim a neighborhood reward through Cash App that can be used with participating local businesses or toward coming back to Falora. I love seeing ways to support local businesses and the neighborhood. Overall, we had such a great experience. It was definitely a refreshing choice for this hot summer day. We also split a couple of pizzas: the marinara and the Margherita. Both of these were topped with fresh basil and the crust was perfect perfectly crispy. Like all woodfired pizza, it does have a little bit of a char to it, but I love that. Overall, the service here was great and I would definitely come back. It also looks like you can order pizza to go and take it to the cocktail lounge next door. We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.
