We had to get the entire front end and steering fixed less than a month later, and a month after that the engine went out. We tried calling on multiple occasions and never got a phone call back. Once we got the engine replaced, the mechanic noticed that bolts and parts had been removed. After the engine was installed, we found out the transmission was completely shot too. At this point we had invested so much we had no choice but to fix it. Long story short we have put 9,000 back into a truck that we paid $7,000 cash for. I honestly think this is very wrong as you are a business with such high reviews about customer service. Prince automotive claims to stand behind every vehicle sold, and guarantee satisfaction. He is now faced with auto fees that shouldn't be happening beings he just purchased this truck. I would not reccomend this dealership to anyone! This is outrageous! Very unprofessional! Poor experience. First, their AI bot, Jerry, directed me to the Moncks Corner location, but the…read morevehicle was in Ladson instead. As I was 3 minutes from leaving for my house to go to the dealership, Hunter (if I remember his name correctly), a human, called me and informed me that the AI bot was wrong and told me that they would get the car and bring it to the Moncks Corner location the following morning. Then I had to reschedule the appointment to the following day because of it. Ok fine. When I arrived the next day to check out the car, they never sent it over. I had to ride with Shawn Conyers, my designated car salesperson, all the way to Ladson. Finally, I got the car and it was working great. Then I paid everything off and gave Shawn the keys to move the vehicle to a different spot. After driving home, I noticed that the key fob wasn't locking. Then I spoke with Shawn, about my key fob not working, and proceeds to gaslight me into thinking that he wasn't aware of the faulty door. He stated through text "How could I be aware if we both got the car together from Ladson?" So Tru Auto purposely leaves all of their used cars unlocked all the time. Right? He was fully aware, but lacked personal integrity. Did he reply to my message? Nope. I wouldn't have minded waiting to first get the car serviced and then have it handed back to me. Just a shady business practice and a lack of true integrity. It should've been on the CarFax, but apparently Shawn said that wouldn't be something that CarFax would document. Ok but how was the car serviced at the TruAuto in Moncks Corner and didn't mention that? So now their service center is also shady and doesn't report the issues. I will say that I am 100% ignorant when it comes to cars and was exhausted that day, but it wouldn't had hurt to have the integrity and courage to tell me that the car had an issue. I'm only leaving a one star because of the lack of integrity and poor business practice they have. Besides the car doors not locking, the car runs beautifully and hopefully there won't be any issues moving forward. Another day where we have people lacking human decency and integrity.

They payment receipts are not accurate, it shows your next payment isn't due until 3-4 months out but they didn't say anything about it until i asked the next month. Paid the payment on time and somehow I still was "late" and had to pay more! They are scammers and all the cars have problems. I would not recommend! EVER!

I called the dealership, the salesman (G.L.) I spoke to gave me a hard time about getting it fixed. He wanted me to go to a private auto body shop to get an estimate. I did what he asked & got the estimate but really why did I have to do that, shouldn't the dealership have done so? The salesman I was dealing with kept repeating to me that getting the vehicle fixed was above his pay grade. I am over 70 years old, I did not need the stress. I have never been treated this way by any other dealerships I have dealt with. They eventually fixed the bumper after about 6 weeks, but not without me calling them almost every day. I will never buy from this dealership again. If you buy from this dealership - be forewarned , cross your t's and dot your i's.
