Rachel sandwich and fresh cut fries

I loved their large menu of different choices of sandwiches and sides. They're all very reasonably priced with large portions! The cashier was very friendly and took orders from the long line quickly. Also, they make their own ice cream and have many flavors of hard ice cream, sherbet and Italian ice.

Stopped in around 7 PM on a Saturday a few weeks ago and shared a stinger sub. The sub was delicious !!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was packed and very busy...always a good sign.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will definitely stop back...large menu for food and ice cream.

    Chicken Finger Wrap - mild

Forewarning for those who have never been- they are cash or debit only, they do not take credit cards. Always super fresh food, and tastes great. Their milkshakes, doesn't matter what flavor are to die for, 10/10 always! They also have fresh milk for sale! Chicken Finger Wrap - mild 8/10 This wrap was good, and fresh... but it had a ton of lettuce, the chicken fingers could have been a tad less crunchy, and I wish they were in strips instead of diced. It would have made it easier to eat. I've also had the Reuben here before and was also delicious.

Can't get more local than this. This place backs right into Hoovers farm which has been in the family for generations. Great homey food and great ice cream. Signature Sundays. All for a great price.

    Turkey Dinner

Turkey dinner for 10.99 is still the best deal around. Everything is homemade and delicious. Add the chocolate milk ,which tastes like a chocolate milk shake, and you have a real keeper. Counter service is slow, they need two lines. It's best to order ahead as they ran out of turkey dinners at 5:45.

Fisherman's Platter w/o the Mac salad
    Mashicka R.

Not many restaurant choices in this area so they are greatly appreciated. I Ordered the Fisherman's platter $23. Comes with 1/2 piece Haddock, clams, shrimp, scallops, potato choice, mac salad and coleslaw. The haddock was very small and it's not fresh fish but tastes very good for frozen and you could opt for the whole haddock dinner instead. I left off the Mac salad as it tastes like macaroni and mayonnaise. The fries are always pretty good and the seafood overall was very tasty. Does lack in consistency. Last week my seafood was burned and the haddock piece was a nice portion. This week the haddock is tiny but the seafood was cooked perfectly. The clams are just mostly crumbles and the shrimp & scallops mostly breading. But I would order here again because overall the seafood does taste pretty good, it's convenient and quick. Service here is always friendly and it feels good to support local. Also grab some milk to go, it's the best.

    Turkey dinner takeout
    Richard P.

My wife and I stopped here a few days ago for a milkshake to share, which was very good. While we were waiting, I noticed that they have a special on Thursdays for a turkey dinner which is one of my faves. I read some reviews on Yelp which indicated they sometimes run out of turkey dinners very early so I called to order takeout at 4:40 p.m. They told me it would be ready in 10 or 15 minutes. I got there on time, and it was ready. It was a very good meal, with mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and a roll. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the place is clean. I also got some Berry cheesecake ice cream which was excellent. I am thinking we will be back on Thursdays again!

    Hoovers homemade ice cream flavors
    Monica K.

Hoovers has finally started making their own ice cream and it has not disappointed! So far, I've had the grandma Pat's butterscotch, peanut butter cup, butterfinger, bada bing cherry, orange chocolate and chocolate peanut butter (It's a short drive from my work and I may have ended up there a time or two for lunch; don't judge!). The mix-ins in the ice cream are plentiful and you'd never be mistaken what kind of ice cream you're eating; definitely no, "where's the peanut butter cup?", here. If you're not a fan of "things" in your ice cream, they have vanilla, chocolate, black raspberry, orange chocolate and a variety of soft serve flavors. I plan to try all their flavors, even the plain old vanilla. It seems they are adding new flavors every week. Follow their Facebook page! If you want some "real" food before you dive into your ice cream, they also have burgers, dogs, salads, wraps and more! I highly recommend checking out Hoover's, the same guys who still deliver their milk the old fashioned way! Oh, and now that I'm thinking about their milk they have plain and many flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, creamsicle, coffee, cookies and cream, cherry.... you definitely won't regret your visit! :)

Such a cool place ! Like an old school 50s diner vibe but with a strong focus on dairy , since their dairy farm is right down the street . Menu prices are from another era it seems too . I got a burger with mushroom, bacon and Swiss and a side of Mac and cheese ($13 total) . I definitely got creamy Velveeta cheese vibes from the side dish and the burger tasted flame broiled and fresh , although I prefer my burger to be on the pinker side, wellness wise . The decor is too cute with cows and pigs everywhere . I tried my friends portion of mint milk, and it was tasty , a much better alternative to a Shamrock Shake . Make it a double stop day trip with Hoovers dairy , and you won't be disappointed

One of the best locally owned and run restaurants and dairy's there is. From food to ice cream and even their milk, definitely a must have.

The eggnog is the best we have ever had. So creamy and delicious. I could have drank the whole container at one sitting.

Soon as I said the açaí, the workers started to laugh (not sure of the reason but left me the impression that because of my pronunciation.) I wanted small size but wasn't asked instead told the total was $7ish. Seems that one of the girl was in training so she's doesn't know what she was doing. I don't mind waiting but what bothers me was that after 3 attempts to get my order ready with tiny bit of strawberries, she just pushed my order on the counter and walked away. No acknowledgement of any kind ( no hi or anything ) because my total. What a disappointment. Will not be back

You can have frozen fruit mixed in, but I prefer sorbets. They do have a lot of the same toppings you find in other fro-yo chains, but I was pretty underwhelmed. I like the emphasis on all natural ingredients, but I still want to treat myself when I indulge in fro yo, and theirs missed the mark. Also, a lot of fro yo places similarly emphasize natural ingredients. I also prefer being able to prepare my own dish instead of feeling like I need to hurry up and make a decision, but I'm not holding that against them since it's in a food court and not free standing. I just don't feel inclined to visit again, convenient location aside.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!
