honestly the best in the area! we took a break for a few years and came back, now I swear it's better. love that you have the option to order online for pick up which makes the process so easy. orders are always ready and hot when you arrive. prices seem reasonable too.

In addition to noodles, the lunch special came with your choice of soup, a spring roll, or 2 crab rangoon. I opted for the crab rangoon. I also ordered 2 dim sum dishes - the shrimp dumplings ($6.50) and snow mountain lava buns ($6.50). The crab rangoon came out first, and they were delicious, hot, and crispy. Then I got the dan dan noodles. The noodles had a bit of a kick, but they weren't overwhelmingly spicy. They had a nice chew, and I slurped them up happily. I just wish there were more noodles lol, but the portions were pretty typical for dan dan noodles at Greater Cleveland restaurants. The dim sum was great. The shrimp dumplings were tender and juicy, and the buns were so fluffy. Be careful eating them though, or you might get hot, delicious egg goo all over your hands, lol. The staff is very no-nonsense. The service was efficient, and I made it in time for my Red Cross appointment. Note - the restrooms are super clean and even smell nice!

They have pictures of the food that they claim to offer... When I got my order, nothing looked like…read morethe pictures they provided. Then when I asked for a refund, I was told I would get one and then the crazy owner. That's what she identified herself as hung up on me and told me she wasn't doing anything for me even though I had taken pictures next to the pictures that I created my order from and said all of this food is different not only was it different. It was horrible. The worst Chinese food I've ever had here and I've eaten Chinese food in Singapore all over Asia. This is not Chinese food at all. It's disgusting and I would highly recommend you don't eat food from there, especially because the owner will not stand behind the food. They cook and prepare and they just hope you're on a trip like I am and won't come back because it's so terrible. Unfortunately, for them after she said she wasn't going to do anything for my order my bank realize that I sent him the information I provided him with information for the pictures and then I had also taken pictures of the food that they had given me so yeah my bank took care of me thank you very much US bank for doing the right thing. You should be ashamed of yourself Szechuan gourmet there is nothing gourmet about your restaurant and this is coming from actually a real restaurant owner. I would never ever treat my guess the way you treated me over the phone you are rude. You produce bad food and hopefully you're not in business for that much longer. It's a shame that you do that and you pass it off as Chinese food especially Szechuan maybe you should look up the province and understand the food that comes from there.

**This review is based on a pick-up order.**…read more I called in this order, and the lady who took the call was quick and polite. Plus, the order was correct, so she was accurate too. Always a good thing. The food, however, was a mixed bag. First, I ordered beef and snow peas (I asked for it to be spicy), and the dish was among the best I've had in a long time. The peas were crunchy; the beef was melty; and the sauce was rich -- and spicy, just as I requested. Because I don't eat a ton, I ordered the upgrade (to fried rice, wonton soup and an egg roll) to share. Meh. The broth was nice, but there really weren't wontons in it. Rather, they were ribbons of way overcooked pasta. Not a deal-breaker, but nothing memorable. The egg roll was the typical freezer-to-fryer variety. Not terrible, but hardly plump and definitely not rolled in-house like the good ol' days. Finally, the fried rice is missing something. Not only do I believe that it was never cooked in a wok, but it also had a scant flavor of sesame oil and little else. I'm not usually one to tell people how to do their business. This time is different though, since I am not the only one to mention the bland 'fried' rice here. Use some soy sauce. Use the wok -- and not the microwave. And perhaps, use an egg and a little garlic. But hey! These guys have been in business for a minute, so we 'fried' rice detractors must be in the minority. All of that to say, this place does an outstanding job with the beef and snow peas. But next time -- if there is a next time (I live in Houston) -- I'll ask for the steamed rice and dress it myself.

Third time ordering, twice my order was not what was ordered. First time it was fixed, I think it…read morewas an error in the order taker. This time I ordered "Pearl of the seven seas" $16.50. It's supposed to be crab shrimp scallop in sauce with baby corn and straw mushrooms. I ordered this for the reason of the mushrooms. I get it it has no mushrooms at all. It has TONS of pea pods, bamboo, celery, water chestnuts and I counted 12 pieces of seafood, like none for the size. I call and they said no, no mushroom when I'm staring at the menu I saw online and have a paper copy in front of me. There's maybe enough meat for one serving and then one serving of just veggies and a whole crap load of sauce. Do better. I won't be back, and they're 3 minutes from me!

I discovered that it's one of the only Chinese restaurants open later in the day in the surrounding suburbs. I was very excited to try a new restaurant in this part of town but it was a miss for me. AMBIANCE: Simple surroundings with Chinese menus displayed on the monitors, red lanterns descending from the ceiling, simple art, and plants. The tones are light orange and peach. The dining room only has a few tables of four. The dining room also has a chest freezer that is unexpected. The decor is pretty dated yet exactly what you'd picture a Chinese restaurant to be. FOOD: Multi page has it all - appetizers, soups, fried rice, chow mein, chop suey, chow mein fun, egg foo young, lo mein, chef specialties, Hunan and Szechuan Specialties. There is also a small category with special diet dishes. The diet dishes include steamed veggies, some with shrimp and chicken. I ordered S22 - Honey Chicken ($12.75). It comes with a side of white rice, no egg roll. I took a few bites of the dish and settled for chips for dinner. Honey Chicken portion was generous and was in a separate container. Chicken pieces were very dry. They didn't seem to be cooked in sauce but rather sauce was added later. I heard some microwaving during meal preparation and it was probably for this sauce. Honey sauce is just melted honey. The two ingredients just aren't cohesive. Side white rice was small, too clumpy and dry. The meal wasn't at all enjoyable. SERVICE: The service was very intense. I got the impression that the employee did not want to cook anything at this point of the day. I have to say that meal prep was almost instant, much faster than at other Chinese food takeouts. The employee also welcomed me to return, which was nice. FREE TEA: The restaurant serves free hot tea (flavor unknown). Disposable glasses are available. It's a great treat for dine in or to go especially on frosty winter days. PARKING: Large plaza parking lot. Plenty of parking! Overall, it was a quick late evening stop with mediocre food. I was really craving Chinese food and was disappointed it wasn't good.

Always greeted immediately and food cooked fast without a long wait. I love that their roast pork is thinly sliced and well cooked. Pieces are not fatty or chewy. Vegetables are nice and fresh and perfectly cooked with a little crunch left. Not cooked too long or soggy, even in brown sauce. The General Taos and Orange chicken is nice and crisp, but would love more of a white/breast option for consistency. Some of the pieces can be stringy/chewy. Might have been a one off with the lo mein, but the noodles seemed too soggy or overcooked in water. Will give another try. Their egg rolls are great NY style- fat, round kind about the length of 3-4". Hard to find in some places. Reasonable pricing and food is always cooked fresh to order! Look forward to choosing them again!
