My first thought when I entered this bar was that it is of one of those old bars that alcoholics hang out in. It has a pretty generic feel. We came in looking for some of a particular beer by Brash brewery. Their website and Untapped says they have it. Turns out, they were all out. Ok, I will get a different IPA. My girlfriend orders a stout, they get about a 5th of the glass filled and run out of it. Fine, she picked another one. So we ask about food and they say that half of their menu is out of stock. Meanwhile you have three people standing behind the bar doing nothing when they could be out buying food to restock the place. I would think Saturday night would be the most crucial time to have your needed supplies. This place has some very poor management to be letting these things happen. We finished our beers and went to Thistle Draftshop instead, a much better place. I will give it 2 stars since it's better than your average bar that only serves domestics like Bud Light. Compared to other craft beer shops, it fails miserably. read more

Lazy service! First time there and sat at a table for 15 minutes and staff didn't even acknowledge our table of six. It wasn't until one of the the bartenders was right next to us looking for a tap handle when we finally had to ask for a menu. His response "we have no menu, it's all online and you order at the bar". Yep, that's it! Great, no issues ordering at the bar, but tell your guests... geez! Went to close the tab, girl bartender to busy with her "boyfriend" at the end of the bar, she couldn't be bothered and the guy bartender to busy chatting it up with friends. So... waited 15 minutes just to get my bill. There was maybe 10 people in the place. They won't survive with this kind of service. Won't be back! read more

Only majorly good part about this place was the vast variety beer selection. Atmosphere is kind of lacking, and the place isn't very big. They have an area to play darts and a bunch of tables to sit around at, nothing special here. read more

Create stop to enjoy a relaxing glass of a craft beer. The bar tenders are friendly and smoke free. Being a non smoker, a smoke free environment is nice alternative then having your cloths smell like a chimney. Only disadvantage is the since it's a small place, seating is very limited. read more

I should begin by stating I've frequented this establishment twice prior to my visit yesterday and had a normal neighborhood bar experience. However, I'm basing this review solely one the most uncomfortable situations I've ever encountered in a bar setting. We were casually drinking and talking and all of a sudden the manager asked us to not be quiet. Our voices were not loud and he was serious. It took us a moment to comprehend he was being serious. He then began to tel us we needed to not speak or whisper for a few hours while they do a poetry slam. We are fans of all art, but in a damn neighborhood bar! I mean advertise this and give your bar patrons a heads up. I wouldn't mind so much if they gave us a notice instead of making us feel embarrassed and ashamed. I might also add that this was a bar, not a restaurant and a newborn baby sitting at a table. TABC would have a field day with that nonsense. What happened to 21 and up? We went in on a Sunday night, just a couple of friends. It was 6:45, and we were asked to stop talking. They were having a poetry reading. I don't mind being asked to be quiet, but we were already being quiet. There should've been some sign or something. Next, a bartender came here band told us they quiet down. Again, we were talking in hushed voices. I've never felt more disrespected. Do not go here for a good time or even a quiet time. You will not be welcomed. read more

Mirinda is awesome! Very knowledgable and makes great recommendations based on your tastes . Good tap takeover events here too. Also cold pressed coffee on tap to go great with Old Rasputin. Few small snacks to purchase , yet allows you to bring your own food and pretty good order options on area. One thing I'd like to see changed: currently no beer listing /menu in location . Love this bar. Their lack of seating for children not capable of sitting in regular chairs eliminates the nuisance of crying kids. They have an excellent selection of craft beers. Their drinks don't include milk or baby formula which also helps enforce their policy of no loud children. Strip center location, barren of signage or personality with absolutely no curb appeal. They advertise 47 beers on tap and today, Saturday at 3:00 pm, there were 29 beers on tap. The three beers I requested were not available. The bartender told me to log online to see their selection as there is no beer menu. Very interesting experience for a first time customer. My wife has harped for years that we should visit this bar and she was embarrassed that she bought the "yelp" hype. We sat at the bar hoping to engage with some of the locals and we moved since one of the regular patrons spewed out a barrage of "F"-bombs for more than 10 minutes. I am not a prude, but seriously if you have to pepper your conversation with 30 effs a minute, you are a total loser. Of course, the bar maid did not ask him to tone it down. I have to agree with Scott L. who wrote, "Simple place for slightly seedy hipsters." It is not a pub, it is not a bar, there is no food except for $8 peanuts and today there was a mixed crowd that spent most of their time texting.
